I mean, I don't know about OG; I think Ripley takes that medal, but Elle definitely made waves! First feminist character who looked pretty while being awesome!!
I absolutely love this movie. No, it's not the most realistic representation of how law is practiced, but that doesn't matter. It's a wholesome movie about self worth, wholesome friend groups, and hard work, with an absolutely iconic protagonist to drive it all. She is an icon, she is a legend, and she is THE moment.
So she kept repeating the shower part because she couldn’t understand how chutney knew her father was shot while she was in the shower despite claiming she couldn’t hear it?
She wanted witness to give away(or rather make up, as she was lying) more details, so she could pinpoint inconsistency, catch her lie. And that is exactly what happened.
Man, you should've had that iconic moment where her fashion background worked out for her because she knew how perms worked and as able to expose that lady for killing her father. But a great compilation otherwise!
I was board one day with nothing to do and I watched this movie. I had no interest in it whatsoever prior to that but I was scrolling through youtube's 'free with ads' movies and thought I'd give it a chance. I must say that I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. It was a really good movie.
David is type of kid most every asian parents wish for. Also he not deserve it when that one 2 girls degraded him call him "loser" just bcuz david kinda quiet guy, but I'm glad elle help to boost his confidence 🎀
I love Elle for that!!! Usually when ppl describe 'feminist', they describe men-hater who would mock the man in that situation. Elle showed what true feminism is. And yeah, David was so sweet, he didn't deserve the treatment he got.
Bro I saw this movie and right in the like second act where after the party it got super good god I love this movie, also that scene with chuck was fucking hilarious XD God this women’s a Saint
I got so tired of watching movies where nerdy girl tried to be feminist by hating on other girls and screaming every second, I'm not like the other girls!! Saw this movie and thought, this is what I needed. This 2001 movie is far better than some of 2020s Netflix ones⚡
por que algunas peliculas en ingles como esta los personajes hablan claro y se entiende lo que dicen. y otras peliculas pareciera que hablan algun dialecto de Quchua en lugar de Ingles?
The only thing I hate about this movie is when she makes the dude who this woman turned down look good to make this woman want him. I feel like men are trying to make us believe that that is somehow feminist when it’s circumventing her original choices and if we respect womens’ choices then she should have let her leave him. And sometimes, men DO talk out of their league. Like when old men talk to me im like what do you expect me to do? In my mind.
I guess that was not the point the movie was trying to make. Like we always see boys judging girls by their bodies, faces etc and we are against it. But it's as bad when it's done to boys- the girls were making the boy unjustly insecure. And Elle protested against it. She didn't force the girls to like him- she just showed them it they couldn't demean the guy just because they were cool
Her positivity and a "can do" attitude is admirable but the way she just jumps into people's business would seen as annoying in the real world instead of friendly or helpful.
well ig it's exaggerated for the movie purpose, but I still love her for not giving a heck about what ppl are saying and continue marching to her own beat. I hope I could be like her, I overthink a lot all the time:(
My school is doing legally blonde the musical, I got the part of Chutney Whyndm. For the on sale dress, I’m making a fake dress.
omygosh that's so cool! Hope you nail you role as Chutney! Godspeed ❤️
Thank you! 🩵
This is the OG Feminist movie. three sacred lessons: Be yourself, Don't bring down others for being girly or masculine, and work hard.
So sad we forgot these things in 2023 and has labelled feminism as "Men Hater"
@@geminithetwins exactly.

And don’t wet your hair within the first 24 hours of getting a perm
"happy people don't shoot their husbands" HAHAHAHA
Facts👽

Well
People who take dr#gs are considered really happy People
And they would definitely sh*ot their husbands ngl
Unless it's for fun :^]
She's got a point

Just to add something: She was Barbie before Barbie came out
Fr
I mean Barbie already existed lol
So she kept repeating the shower part because she couldn’t understand how chutney knew her father was shot while she was in the shower despite claiming she couldn’t hear it?
She was trying to either confuse Chutney so she would break down and confess, or show the crowd how absurd Chutney's claim was.
Chutney claimed she knew her father was shot only when he she got out and saw Brooke standing over his dead body, "drenched in his blood"
@@geminithetwins I didn’t know If she was confused or just couldn’t wrap her head around how it made sense in her story
@@am13007 but she said she couldn’t hear it upstairs in the shower so Elle didn’t get how it was possible?
She wanted witness to give away(or rather make up, as she was lying) more details, so she could pinpoint inconsistency, catch her lie. And that is exactly what happened.
One of those few movies in which there's no actual "villain" or " antagonist" and also a rare one where the females aren't fighting each other.
Want more movies like that:) Some movies nowadays are too boring
Callahan and Chutney are villains.
If you wanted to upload a compilation of Elle being iconic, you should’ve uploaded the whole movie.
I would've, but then my data ran oun. Still grieving thinking about that incident ☠️
faxxxxx

Glad that you like it✨❤️
1:06 she is the inspiration for people like us who dream of Harvard.. Elle you are an angel ❤
Yeah, she showed us that ambition matters more than your background

To be honest, this movie is 100x better than some of the Netflix movies they make nowadays

Elle woods, regina George & Cher Horowitz. Just Iconic
Queens of my heart❤️❤️❤️
Genuine question (not throwing shade or anything), how is Regina George iconic like them?

Hay varios acentos. Estoy aprendiendo español, y este es mi experiencia también. No entiendo algunos películas
Cuando los actores hablan. Necesitas escuchar a varias acentos si quieres entenderlos
