- This week I'm asking the question is Dimmo too hard for the average rider ?
this brilliant spot in the Staffordshire Moorlands is gold mine for gnarly mtb tracks, but is it suitable for the average Joe?...Let's find out ! - กีฬา
Good vid mate !! Wish you didn’t disclose the location tho!
👍
Nice vid, I’m sure the local trial fairy’s are buzzin you blartin the location all over. 🔔
Cool story bro, they have nowt to worry about, no one watches this vids anyway 🤣
Forgot trail riders own the woods don't they
ignore people moaning about vaguely dropping the location, loads of vids of the place it’s not exactly a secret
My thoughts exactly...cheers dude 👍
Wicked video man, is there a trails map round dimmo? I’ve been a few times and I can’t find all these trails?
Not to my knowledge matey, there all pretty easy to find though. Climb up from the ramblers retreat, you'll come across about 6 trails. Then there's loads near Hawksmoor too.
@@OfftheTopMTB do you follow the river up away from the ramblers to get to the start of the trails? I think I need a guided tour round there 😂
@steveebbrell1843 you can do, I go to the right of the river, through a metal gate up the footpath and it just goes all the way to the top, the trails are a bit harder to see at the minute with all the greenery about
@@OfftheTopMTB ill check it out this week, I’m only in Cheadle so I need to make the most of having dimmingsdale on my door step 😂 I’ve done a couple of trails that drop down onto the old railway line heading towards oakamoor
Yea I think I know where you mean, the trails up from the ramblers retreat come out on the road opposite the old train line, think there's a cricket club close by too
Its taken me and Phil about 18 months of riding I reckon! Dont see it that dry oftern!
Think it's the dryest I've ever seen it to be fair mate ☀️
considering you said you lacked confidence, i thought you rode very well 👏 those trails did not look easy at all! no harm in showing the trees some love too 😉
Cheers mate, I don't know what's wrong with me lately, seem to have lost my bottle a bit. To be honest after watching the footage back it didn't look as bad as it felt.
Haha I'm glad that tree was there for me to hug, stopped me going for a big tumble 😂
its just a mind game i think. i was scared of heights up until the end of last year. wouldnt go near a steep trail or 2ft drop 😅
Yea think your right dude....fair play on getting over your fear, that's quick that mate 😁
Taking someone with you who is a crap rider is a good way to feel good about yourself and better about your riding.let me know if you need my help😂
Seriously seemed like you were riding as fast as usual👍
😂😂😂 cheers dude
Ive not watched the video yet but i quite often lose my confidence some of the steeper stuff there 😂
Think it was a mixture of being tired, hot then stacking it in world cup section 😂
@@OfftheTopMTB just watching now, fair dismount that was 🤣
😂😂 cheers mate, think I clipped a pedal
Wasn't the best start to WC3! 😂😂😂
World cup 1 I binned it on wasn't it ?
@@OfftheTopMTB looked like WC3 mate
@@MTB_Trekker according to my Strava the last trail I did in the video was WC 3 but I dunno the trail names there other than El Steepio 🤷
@@OfftheTopMTB wc3 on my strava 🤔
@@MTB_Trekker strange 😮
Hopefully it's fun when I have my guided tour next weekend 👍
A fair few of the steep trails have trees down, and it's very overgrown, can still have a laugh though 👍
El Steepio is a good one to try, I always balls it up though 😂
