Insta360 Flow Smartphone Gimbal Review | Everything you need to know

- The Insta360 Flow is a 3-axis smartphone gimbal for smooth stabilised footage. And it has advanced AI tracking rivalling many high end cameras that can lock onto both faces and objects. It has a built-in extension arm and tripod and it’s just about compact enough to fit into your jacket pocket.
Insta360 are best known for their 360 degree cameras, but this gimbal draws more from their recent smart webcam the Insta360 Link.
I’ve been thoroughly testing the Flow for over a month to see if it lives up to its marketing claims. By the end of the video I really hope you’ll have enough information to make an informed buying decision.

Thank you! I'm new to the Flow, just over a week now and I'm still learning. Tilt movement is rather restricting & I need to be careful to start with the arm vertical.

Have you tested the Flow with lenses attached to the IPhone? I have a iPhone 15 Pro Max. Great video, thanks
Sorry for late reply - not I've not tested my iPhone 13 Pro with add-on lenses - I do have some Moment lenses so will try when I get a chance. I also have a 15 Pro Max on the way :).
Hello , very good video thank you very much. But you forgot to mention a major problem of this gimbal : the very fragile joystick, mine broke after two weeks of use , this joystick broke when I tried to put the gimbal in my pocket. A quick research on the internet proves my point , a lot of people are facing this issue after a few days or weeks of use. Mine is actually on its way for repair , I do not know yet if Insta360 will be ok for a warranty repair ( they should be ok because it is clearly a design mistake , specially if you compare with the OM6’s joystick which much more robust ). I just to mention this issue to warn people before buying this joystick , just be aware that there is a major design flaw with the joystick and be ready to face problems.

Hohem M6 comparison? Probably better but one can't beat the quality of the edited output and features of the 360 app.
