I just got my Insta360 flow today and noticed 2 things: 1. The handle is so small that holding it in one hand can really wear a person out with very little room to move around during long shoots, and 2. The app has no setting for HDR video. Even the DJI Mimo app has this option! This is a deal breaker for me, now that I'm getting comfortable with my iPhone 14 Pro Max.

I ordered this gimbal and went to set it up and realized it will not let you proceed with their app unless you allow them permission to read and write to all your images. I created a folder that I tried to steer it to, but it ignored that and wanted full access. I don’t think it’s necessary for them to have access to every image I’ve ever shot, so I deleted the app, boxed it back up and returned to Amazon.
Can you say giving permission for them to use all your images for its AI training? I knew you could! If they want that then they are going to have to pay me a licensing fee for each image and video or set up a contract to pay me $500,000 a month for full access on a 5-year minimum contract.
I noticed that Justine conveniently skipped over the AI technology being employed by the gimble. Seemed really careful not to mention that aspect of how it finds and follows you.
Currently have the OM5, and with my 23 Ultra its a super frustrating in terms of the limitations on the DJI app in terms of the resolutions, and a majority of the features preventing you from using any other camera app. Does the Flow have more flexibility with Androids, and does the android version of the app have all camera resolutions available?
There is a phone compatibility chart, but from what I have found the Apple phones still get precedent. You can do 4k 30 fps but not 60fps like Apple phones. Also don't see many things showing the slow motion capabilities with Samsung phones or using the telephoto lens of the s22/s23. I am hopeful they will update the app to support these features in the future though

This one reminds me of DJI gimbals and the newer ones have fill light clamps with the same temp and brightness features. This gimbal seems more stable though 🤔

Insta360 Flow and DJI Osmo 6 both shoot only in 4K 30fps on Android, no 60 fps no 8K and zoom only 8X, so If you have Samsung s23 Ultra you wont be able to use 10X telephoto lens.

It seems if you want to use every feature, then an iphone is the only option, as android phones only have limited use of the features? Thanks

I’ve already have my tripod. I’m all covered. I have a DJI Osmo Mobile 6 which I saw in your videos.
Hohem iSteady M6 has an AI Tracking camera with a light that is super bright and can be adjusted color temp wise or switched to a RGB light
The day that any brand will integrate the autotrack feature with the default iphone camera to use the cinematic mode... oh my gosh!
