      views in poltical matters we are still somali however i assure you in the video that he is talking about the somali race as a whole, in the book he literally says that the situation in the wider parts of somali land north of the jubba( back then there was no country called somaliland so he meant it as land belonging to somalis) is uncertain however the areas south of jubba is sufficiently small enough to influence commercially.

    The British were the ones who went on to conquer many lands with the mindset of "devide and rule" Everytime they came across a strong and united force, they would cause division within those people. The Somali fought them long and hard and eventually when they conquered the land, they realized that they can't change the people ( their religion / culture and language). Intelligence is something someone can have /achieve, regardless of people /ethnic background. The colonizers /slavemasters were also the people who divided the slaves on the plantations in USA by house/field N(word), mostly based on their skintone.

      What kind of idiotic outburst is this. Bantu? Zigula? Are you freaking serious woman? Not one single Bantu tradition is on the pyramids. There are four tribes in the continent of Africa in which 3 are in the subSaharan. You’re sending me links to 1975 drought known as (abaartii daba dheer) while I write about well over 7,000 years ago. There are four tribes in Africa and they’re Cushitic, Nilotic, Bantu, and the late comers of Senatics of the north of Arabs. Bantu cultivate farms and hunt bushmeat in everywhere they live in the continent of Africa. While the Cushitic were animal herders and pastoralists to this day and so are the Nilotic. The mother of Arabs was our girl/daughter Hagar. Yes, the mother of prophet Ismael (cs) was our daughter yes our girl.
      Only lack of knowledge and sheer ignorance one can talk in such a manner. This is not how you go and try to make history by stealing it while make baseless claims and fabricated nonsense. The history of Daraawiish are in the world history books, museums, poetry, and in the minds and hearts of millions worldwide. Go to the library of Congress in the USA and Natural history museum of the U.K and Ottoman library of Istanbul. Zigua are from Tanzania and Mozambique and are not Somali descendents, with number between 23K to 380K to this day (Siyad Barre government estimated to be 81K the inhabitants in the south to be). Our language is in the pyramids. Why isn’t there a single Bantu language in the pyramids? Where is the proof kiddo. There isn’t none. Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Kenya, Congo, Tanzania, Mozambique (Musa Beka) and many other Bantus would have claimed? Why aren’t they claiming? You just made a fool out of yourself. Go and see the pictures of the Kings and Queens and see if they look like Bantu or not. Go and see if King Tat and Ahmose and Nafertiti look like Bantu. What a joke you’re. Only the languages of the pyramids are the languages of the Cushitics. Yes, our language.
      We are the decedents of the ancient Egyptians. The proof is nearly every name is of kingdoms of ancient Egyptians are Somali name. Example, Kemed (kamid) means to include or be part of, Ramses (ramaas siis) the giver of fresh grass, Nafartiti (Nafar tidhi) the lady who can only say, and more. If any ancient Egyptian name isn’t found in the Somali language, it’s found in the related ethnic languages of Eastern Africa plus Mali and Hausa.

      @SPharaoh 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @Fatima Noor
      Before Judaism, Christianity, and Islam and our Cush ancestors lived what is today Egypt, our name Somali ( soo maal - means the milker). If the Somalis are hybrid, are the Oromo, Amara, Afar, Beja, Redinle, Tigray, people of Eritrea, Ethiopia, Somalia, Djabuti, Chad, are Mali are hybrids too. If we are hybrids explain our world famous DNA A1B1B. Arabs and Jews have JDNA known as J1 and J2 DNAs. You’re talking about something you have no clue about. If we are hybrid how come we don’t have an ounce of JDNA? It’s too easy to obliterate baseless claims from so many angles. A1B1B DNA is the Cushitic DNA.
      Our ancestors used to worship many idols (na’uudu billaah). The names of some of them are Waaq which our brothers Redinle and Oromos use today. There is a city named Ceel Waaq (waaq’s water well) in south central Somalia to this very day. Wad, which we use to this day even as Muslims because we carried over the name. Wadaad (wad aad) means the goer of wad in terms of worship. When someone dies of natural death, we say Wad killed so and so (wad baa dilay ama wad buu u dhintay). Today we muslims call the religious person of Islam wadaad (goer or worshiper of wad even though we worship only Allah SWT today). Wad/Suwaa/ya’uuq(ya’uk) were mentioned in the Holy Quran as well. FYI Zeyla or Saylac an ancient city in the northern coast of Somalia is mentioned in the Old Testament.
      Hoyaal was another idol. When we a nation of poets start starting a poem, we start it with hoyaalayeey hoyaalayeey hoyee. Another one was sitti, she was a “female of fertility” idol. To this day, our southern women call it abaay sitti. When many somali women dance in the south and central they say siti siti sitti stti to begin their dances or poems. In the northern and western parts, they say sittaat to signify the gathering of women who make sacrifices and go in to trans modes.
      The mother of today’s Arabs Hagar was a Somali woman. She lives in ancient Egypt. That’s why Jews/Isaac look down on Arabs/Ishmael because Hagar/Somali woman was their mother. As the Jews and Arabs are from the same father but different mother. Yes, the mother of Ismael and the wife of Abraham/Ibrahim. We have a clan named reer Hagar in Somalia today (unrelated specifically to that lady) but to show the name is Somali and it’s in existence. Everything in the pyramids is in Somali, Oromo, Mali, Amara, Redinle, Afar, or all of East African languages but mainly the the Somali language. The kingdom of Kemed (kamid) means being part of. King tat mean (dad in somali is people) meaning king of the people or people’s king. Ahmose (Google Ahmese and see that picture is pure old somali man) he was another ancient Egyptian king. Ah (aah means balaayo in Somali) mose (moose means in Somali barrier of evil things). Ramses is another Somali word meaning Ramaassiis or giver of fresh grass Ramaas siis. Memphis, Nafertiti, and many more are all in the Somali language.

      Our country wont unite, unless they gather around the book of Allah.
      Remember in the story of Prophet Mohamed (saw), the bedouins were killing each other like flies, then the prophet came with the revelation, in a span of 13 yrs, they became the most powerful group, Allah explained in his quran, that they used to be the most weakest then Allah brought their hearts together, and became brothers, and they wld never be able to come together without Allah. When was the last time u read the Quran and tafsiir?
      Without it pple are totally lost.

      Exactly! Exactly! Check out the book called, Warriors: Life and death among the Somalis by British soldier named Gerald Hanley who lived in Somalia, and this is what he wrote about them :
      Quote :
      “A Somali always felt himself to be twice as good as any white man, or any other kind of man at all, and still does, even when he is wrong. Islam does wonders for the self respect of non-white people and Christianity is right to worry about the spread of Islam in Africa.”
      “But of all the races of Africa there cannot be one better to live among than the most difficult, the proudest, the bravest, the vainest, the most merciless, the friendliest; the Somalis.”
      "I knew an Italian priest who had spent over thirty years among the Somalis and he made two converts, and it amazed me that he got even those two.”
      “And the women are as spiritually strong as their men.”
      “They have no inferiority complexes, no wide-eyed worship of the white man’s ways, and no fear of him, of his guns or of his official anger. They are a race to be admired, if hard to love.”
      The West demonizes Somalis because they know when Somalia RISES they would try to overthrow every modern colonialism in Africa and Arabia so they portray Somalis in a negative light in their propaganda media outlets.

    Colonial powers divided the lands traditionally occupied by the Somalis into 5 for 1 reasons.
    The British had the toughest opposition when they tried to invade and occupy the Somalis at a point where they called for their allies during the Anglo-Somali War or the Dervish War. It was a series of military expeditions that took place between 1900 and 1920 in modern-day Somalia. The British were assisted in their offensives by the French, the Ethiopians and Italians.
    The characteristics of the Somali flag represent the unity of the Somali ethnic group form: Djibouti colonize by the French, Somaliland (former British protectorate), the Somali region in Ethiopia, the North Eastern Province in Kenya, and Somalia (Italian Somaliland)...They all use the divide and rule concept... SOMALIS WERE A FORCE TO RECKON WITH BACK IN LATE 1800S.We will unite again Inchallah.

      Unlike North east africans who been invaded by romans Persians , Arabe,😁😂have easly accepted submissons to the hebrews orthodoxe church for éthiopians and Muslim arabe for Somalie Soudan,and now they culture IS just a copy past of middle east and Indian culture.

    If u read thru the "first footsteps to east africa", you can see thru the author's opinion that Somalis had a far back history, although he was a racist, like in the article where he was talking about "malaria", on his trip inside Somali lands, someone caught "malaria", and a Somali said this illness comes from the mosquitoes. The author wrote in his book that "these savages believe that malaria came from mosquitoes"
    After hiw long after (that period) that it was confirmed in the west, that "malaria" was the result of mosquito bites. Lololol.
