I am a Somali who was born and bred in Somalia 🇸🇴. Foreigners say Somalia is not 100% Muslim but is false. They are including the Somali diaspora apostates who disbelieved in the the countries of the Kufar. No Somali in Somalia claims to be a non-Muslim openly, and only Allah knows what in their hearts. We judge them for what is visible and we hear. On the other hand, the theory that Islam reached in our country in the lifetime of the Prophet is stronger in evidence than the other theories. Islam is both our religion and culture. Although we were also in the dark history of Muslims which started in last 100 years, we have hope that Islam is going to be governing both the politicians and all communities inshaa Allah.
So according to you the Somali diaspora are not Muslims? According to you I embraced the western religion and I abandoned Islam which is not true at all.
I r oromo kufaar 😂😂
So according to you the Somali diaspora are not Muslims? According to you I embraced the western religion and I abandoned Islam which is not true at all. Just because you live in Somali it does not make you a better Muslim. There are many western Muslims who are joining Islam in the hundreds of thousands a year in the west who are practicing Islam better than you I believe. And yet here you are claiming to be the righteous true Muslims and painting those in the west as fake Muslims.
@ahmedaden3419 learn to read and comprehend he was obviously meaning the only somali apostates who openly apostate from Islam are those from the diaspora living in the western countries.

😂😂 wrong how did Somalis worship adeity of thier traditional arch enemies oromo
@@shukrilul
The Somali people in pre-Islamic times are believed to have adhered to a complex monotheistic belief system superseded by a single all-powerful figure called Eebbe/Waaq.
Waaq was a pre-Islamic Sky God associated with water/rain, fertility, sacred trees, animals, nature, peace and harmony. It is construed in Somali with words like Bar waaqo ("bountiful"), Ceel Waaq (a town's name) and Cabu Waaq
Conclusion
Waaq (also Waq or Waaqa) is the name for the sky God in several Cushitic languages, including the Oromo and Somali languages.
Other Cushitic languages where the word is still found include Konso Waaqa; Rendille Wax; Bayso Wah or Waa; Daasanach Waag; Hadiyya Waaʔa; Burji Waacʼi.

According to Sir Richard Burton in his book First Footsteps in East Africa, in the mid 1800s Somalis still drank blood mixed with milk, didn't know how to pray let alone pray the 5 daily prayers, and women didn't cover their chests just like the men. He was able to travel throughout Somalia by pretending to be an Arab and teaching Somalis about Islam. Somali culture at that time was indistinguishable from our non-Islamic cushitic and nilotic neighbors. Somalis were Muslim in name only in the mid-18th century.
We are talking about 10 to 11 centuries and you are mentioning Richard Burton 18 centuries slave hunter who was employed by UK Government, come on Bro.
As far as I know & researched Waaq ain't polytheistic it was monotheistic issue, since Somali's are nomadic camel herders, one more thing mixing fresh blood and milk is healthier than eating cheeseburger or Pizza!!

We love islam
We are so lucky
It's sayla' with ع not saylac with k. Saylac is in somali and the c is ع in arabic . So It's سيلع or زيلع
Alhamdulahi we somali are strong Muslim. Allhamdulilahi cala nicmatihi
alhamdulillah I am a somali
Me too from Djibouti. Alhmdoulillah
Be proud to be Muslim 🇸🇴
Masha Allah - Islam is truly a blessing. And as the video said - masjid qiblatayn is in Somaliland not Somalia
@@SM-df8fy older people have divided mindsets, if you are young you should do better or think better than this. Somalia 🇸🇴 is one country, we’d be in a better position if we all unite instead be separated.
@@Myo-v1k Is Somalia Islam? Why are you so attached to Somalia being one? We should only push for Islamic unity. Don't let nationalism infect you.
Allah bless our somali muslim siblings all over the world.
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Islam in Somalia started before even our beloved Prophet migrated to YATHRIB modern day MADINAH, so long story short we are the first Nation to become Muslim even Hijas modern day saudi arabia
that is Somaliland not Somalia
@@SM-df8fy Somaliland didn't exist 1400 years ago continue the lies, you can delete my comments as much as you like ima still call u out

Mashallah Somaliland and Somalia are strong faith people ❤️
Actually the masjid with two qiblas is just Somaliland. it has nothing to do with Somalia
@@SM-df8fynaga aamusa doqomo yahay. Zeila is in Awdal state of Somalia 🇸🇴 and has nothing to do with that embarrassing clan enclave called somaliland
@@SM-df8fystop spreading your misinformation here .There is no such thing as somaliland .How can someone be so obsessed and cling onto former colonial ideals still to this day ?
@@OnePiece-os3pe Why are you obsessed with my people and our lands? Are you not strong enough to stand on your own two feet? Is Somalia such a failed country that it has to leech on to Somaliland to be worthy? brother eugh

Alx we are very happy to be a muslim country
Ebbe Waaq is not the name of religion but the name of the God the Somali worshipped.

May Allah Azza Wajalla bless Somalia and muslim countries and protect the ummah from evil. Amiiin
You didnt account for arab scholars who settled in Somalia and helped spread Islam. Its true that Islam reached Zeila during the first hijrah. But the overwhelming majority of Somalia was still pagan for quite some time. Arab scholars like Sheikh Daud Ismail Al Jabarti, Sheikh Ishaq, Sheikh Abadir Umar ar-Rida migrated to the horn of africa around the 9-10th and 13th century and helped spread islam. They lived and died here and left behind children who later became great clans. The Darod clan, the Isaaq clan, Sheikhal clans, they continued their forefathers legacies and helped spread Islam. Many kingdoms and sultanates such as kingdom of Ifat and sultanate of Adal were ruled by the descendants Sheikh Daud Ismail Al Jabarti named the Darod. They waged war on the christian abyssinian empire who were persecuting muslim minorities and ended up conquering Abyssinia for around a decade. In result millions of Abyssinian christians converted to Islam and their descendants are now proud muslims.
الحمد لله على نعمة الاسلام
aleikum Salam. but I want you to know that the history of the two qiblas is Somaliland not Somalia.
@@SM-df8fy that is the history of the Somali people as a collective because Somaliland didn't exist at the time of the Prophet ﷺ
JazakAllah Khair for the knowledge
As a Somali we thank Allah sw for the blessings of Islam . Some of somali tribes come directly from Yeman and Saudi Arabia so Islam reached us the time of prophet saw my own tribes come from yeman and Saudi Arabia
Cuck
Somalis were not converted by Abyssinia. Somalis were well established marchents and traders with connections in Arabia and Asia that’s how Islam was founded in Somalia
Ass asomali all our neighbour countries are disbelievers but Allah chosen us to being Muslims 'how ever our situations bad if we are muslims thats making sense and may Allah let all of us and muslims enter jannah fardousa Amiin
