💯 I lived there as a child amazing people.
There was a Kuwaiti rich slavery who once abducted two young Somali kids from the beaches of Northern Somalia. This was in the 1800s this man was a slave trade he used to conduct his business all the way from Tanzania and he thought hey since I'm already here in this port, why don't I take two more Africans. That was the biggest mistake he did. Because the Somali people were also very well connected in business with the Middle East and Asia. They went after him with their own ships, took him from Kuwait, and brought him back to Somalia to stand judgment, and there he was put to death.
The fact is kenyan are the best people in African no racist, no hate they welcome everyone, love you alll guys may allah bless kenya and Kenyans

the lady in the 2:20 minutes into the video is 100% right about the lack of customer service skills in somali traders, they are not welcoming, smiling or even try to talk nicely to the customer they need to improve on this, I myself am a somali and have observed this behavior on numerous occasions !

As a Somali, I observed Kenyans have strong culture and they’re very proud people. Kenyans are hard workers. Kenyans love their roasted meat and sukuma n’ Ugali which I now love it too. I was shocked to have learned the languages, culture, numbers, names of trees, some tribe/clan names are just like the Somali language and culture those Kenyan communities are the wonderful Turkana, Kalanjen and Rendile. Much respect to you Kenyans. I wish the Kenyans showed love to the jokora street people and help them as they deserve hope, love, life, family, warmth, shelter, good food and good times. Thanks.

I lived in Kenya from 2015 to 2022, quite a long time is it not? Really, Kenya became my heart and the Kenyans, my people. I've neve been to Kenya 🇰🇪 but i have alot of families and friends who live there, walahi they love the county and people. They know the language and always praise the country. There #1 vacation spots are in Kenya as well, the ones who live in Minnesota. All in all, amazing country inshallah I'll visit soon.
I have been to many countries around the world and as a Somali Kenya is on the top. I enjoyed my time in Nairobi 25 years ago lol want to go back but been busy with live. My first day in Nairobi I over paid Kenayan lady 100x over the normal price because I didn’t understand the Kenyan money but the lady was honest …. she laughed at me and gave me the money back lol

A lot of non-Somali Kenyans are not aware the majority of Somalis in Kenya are actual Kenyan citizens from the northern part of the country. Do other tribes who were separated by colonial borders have this issue?
Well Kenya also hosts the largest Somali diaspora and we're mixed up so it's kind of hard to differentiate and most business owners are from Somalia

In Kenya, Somali is an ethnic group. Like Nigeria having Igbo or Yoruba. No immigrants like in South Africa or UK. Though there are some immigrants, a majority are Kenyans, who have lived since the birth of the nation.
