    I do my stomach vacuums daily and i have a pretty strong core. I workout hard daily and this still happened to me at 18weeks. Some days are unbareable and others it’s non existent. I will give the inner thigh squeeze a try to strengthen my adductors.

      I'm so sorry to hear that-it can be very painful and debilitating! Do you typically do a lot of split squats, sumo squats, step-ups, lunges, use elliptical, run, or any other exercises that have your legs pretty far apart? This could be contributing to the pain. I would be happy to help you brainstorm alternative if so. Hoping you feel better soon.

    Thank you for this video. I feel miserable while turning in bed and I'm still at 22 weeks. My doctor just asked me to take paracetamol if the pain is unbearable, but I'd rather not take any drugs. I'm really scared thinking how it'll be in the third trimester and how it'll affect labour😭

      Goodness you and me both. In my last pregnancy, it didn’t get rough until about 34 weeks. At 26 weeks in this pregnancy, I’m worried where I’ll be by the end of all this!

      @@explaincauseidontgetit3294 I'm so sorry to hear that you're experiencing so much pain already! Something I've done with my clients in the past as well is to address tightness in their hips and buns that can increase the pull you're experiencing in the front of your pelvis. Feel free to email me at nicole@mamasandmisses.com with more questions! Wishing you all the best during you're pregnancy!

    Thanks for a very fantastic video..
    I have one question I am having pubic pain in 1st trimester..
    Now I am 12weeks it getting worse..
    Is it normal??

    • @DoctorNicole
      @DoctorNicole  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately, it probably will get worse as your pelvis grows and stretches even more throughout your pregnancy. Highly recommend talking with a pelvic PT (myself or someone local) to figure out ways to manage pain during your pregnancy since you still have a ways to go and this type of pain can be so debilitating. Wish you all the best with your pregnancy!

    Is c section a better option for those who undergo this process. My first delivery was normal but pain due to pubic dysfunction was horrible. Im second pregnant nd hve pain from 6th month. Will c section be a remedy to reduce the pain?

    I’m 36 weeks pregnant with this. I sometimes cry because of the pain. It’s horrible. Makes me never want to be pregnant again. I’m to the point where I can barely walk.
    Is this a medical reason for a c section?
    I don’t want something bad to happen during natural labor with how bad it is

    • @DoctorNicole
      @DoctorNicole  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Have you tried anything to manage pain yet? I’ve had clients with this same complaint and physical therapy has resolved the pain after just one visit-may be worth a try!
      As far as labor, a traditional birthing position on your back with legs pulled up to your chest could be really painful; however if you’re up for it and your provider is willing trying other positions like hands and knees or laying on your side could be a lot more comfortable for you. I would test out which positions cause the least amount of pain for you right now before you get in the delivery room- while csection can sometimes be necessary, the recovery can be extremely challenging and personally I would avoid at all costs. I hope this was helpful!

      I’ve went to the chiropractor. I got a referral for physical therapy but they can’t get me in until feb 28th and my due date is February 24th.
      I just tested positive for gestational diabetes and baby is measuring 87% percentile …
      I’ll be talking to my doctor today about what to do

    Im 30 weeks pregnant i had lower back and pelvic girdle pain since i was one week pregnant, even during my periods i had pain. But now my pubic bone started paining and its really scaring me😰 i walk, i do kitchen work, standing work ,sitting on floor everything is hurting that. Even my baby streching his legs hurt sometimes in my tummy. These many days i was ok with some pelvic girldle pain which came and went but now my condition getting worse😭😭😭😭 will this be the same post delivery??

      I'm so sorry you're experiencing so much pain-that can make pregnancy feel so long! Often after our hormones stabilize after delivery, those pains do go away! I would highly recommend pelvic floor physical therapy and or seeing a chiropractor if you can to ease your discomfort! Best of luck with your delivery!

      I have this kind of pain makes it difficult to walk and 41 weeks no labor signs. I don't want to be induced/c section.

    • @DoctorNicole
      @DoctorNicole  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@beautymellz5600 pubic symphysis pain can make labor more difficult unfortunately, but often it improves after your baby is born! Hopefully that will be the case for you, but if not there are some ways we can strengthen your pelvic girdle after you give birth to decrease future pain. Please reach out if it isn't resolved! I hope you don't have to be induced or have a csection either!
      This is not medical advice and just something that worked for my sister, but she cooked fried eggs in a little bit of castor oil (protein with castor oil helps avoid diarrhea) and had her membranes stripped at 41 weeks and she went into labor within a few hours! Best of luck with your birth-how exciting!

      It's common to experience pubic symphysis pain during pregnancy, but it can be managed with physical therapy and you do not have to continue to have pubic symphysis pain throughout your pregnancy if you're open to treatment!
