The reason I love stabby so much is he he can pull off all this stuff whilst not making it his whole thing, he still caps, get picks, and doens buildings as opposed to the spy who acts like a demoknight
I love the soldier @5:09 coming out of spawn with mantreads, rocket jumper, market gardener and then having to go back into spawn because he can't kill the obvious spy right in front of him.
and then gets rekt 10 seconds later when he does try lol
watching stabby videos is like the ultimate exercise of false confidence, the whole time you watch it's like "oh yeah it makes sense that that's where his back would be at that moment" but then you start playing spy yourself and it's all "ahhh they're all shooting at me! what was that thing stabby always says, stray and staff?"
I dunno. I'm curious if the low-graphics and low rendering helps with preventing hitbox delay. Noticed in almost all his videos, characters will walk glitching without moving their legs. I wouldn't be surprised if that's the actual hitbox were seeing lagging behind. Facestabs usually happen when the hitbox isn't pathing exactly where the player cursor is, so this many facestabs would make sense if were actually just seeing their hitboxes instead of their actual play models.
@@Edward_Bernays He records demos and they have a lot of bugs, so thats why the legs sometimes dont move.
Stabby's movement is literally like butter, he gets himself into and out of situations where death would seem inevitable, and come out with at least a dozen of the opposing team members dead.
Can't say I've ever had butter capable of doing that...

Little clip-dumps like these have always been such a pleasure. It just goes to show how good stabby is.
There is others who are really good on spy sure, but they try oh so hard. All that high speed wiggling and strafing, putting so much effort into it as if it's about something.
Stabby meanwhile is on such a different level of mastery, his movement is so smooth and fluent. There is no one like that, and I doubt there ever will be again.
@@jojomtms Stabbys movement is masterful specifically because it doesn't look like much. It's fluent, smooth; not choppy and strafe spammy Like it's invite scout v. Scout.
Stabby does things autonomously. He doesn't need to think, he moves by instinct so to say.
Modern spy mains are just Ritalin fueled zoomers who don't understand nuance, nor realize an art form when they see it. Everyone can hold W with the kunai; not everyone invents trickstabbing as a whole.

Back when I played regularly, I played in a game against Slurgi. I felt like I was just fiddling with my nuts the entire game. No matter what class, where I was, my positioning, he was ALWAYS there with a stab. He absolutely wrecked our entire team over and over. It was amazing, honestly, and inspired me to try and step up my own Spy game.
I got so mesmerized by the stabs and jukes that I watched like 3 minutes through the little TH-cam preview, lmao

Never a wasted movement! A lot of YT spymains jerk and move around so much, but you always keep your movements to a minimum and still execute! very cool
Stabby uses raw movement where he doesn’t have to move his mouse at all or barely, while those other spies rely on bait movements and getting people to walk into them alongside hoping they swing their mouse around at the crackhead spy instead of raw prediction, Stabby is just leagues ahead

Hey Stabby. I really like your HUD, and I've been using it for some time now. However, I've noticed that I'm unable to see my contracts from the Contracker with your HUD. I've currently switched back to the Default HUD, to get the Halloween contracts.
If it would be possible, can you please update your HUD, so that the contracker works? Thank you for making that HUD in the first place, and if you can update it to fix the Contracker, that would be very much appreciated.

If you can find a browser plugin to turn the annotations on for his old annotated videos, a lot of them explain his thought process during plays and it's quite enlightening. (Unless you've been around since then and already saw them with the annotations, in which case, my bad. xd)

@@ethandavis7310 hours dont mean anything, i play since the 2009, and through my whole expirience with tf2 ive been meeting guys with 2-3-6-8-10k hours clocked in tf2 who dont understand basic things about tf2. on the other hand, there are players with lets say 300 hours who play better than players with 3k hours

What continues to mystify me is how none of these people seem to be wearing headphones. You decloak almost touching their backs sometimes, and they still don't hear it??
That still happens but they don’t die embarrassingly enough to end up in the clip videos
@@nena_nezali Incredible that they just keep going for this and basically gamble that the enemy is deaf in order to farm clips. Why not just decloak in a sensible place?
My number one tip to new spies is try decloaking more aggressively. Always have an escape plan for if they do turn around, but you'll be surprised by how often they do not (keep track of who those players are). And of course, time decloaks with mid to low-range frequency noises like explosions and flames to muffle the sound.

The glitchy player models are a demo recording bug. Sorry about that, it's not what it looks like when I'm playing. I use cl_interp .0152
