I GET it now. Trickstabbing is like a rhythm game. They don’t want to see your back, they want for you to turn away because they have a feel for how long it’ll take for the back box to come to them. They don’t visually see the backstab they feel it and time the click.
Yes, often times you dont need to see the player even turn at all, the game registers their movement before the player model actually animates turning left or right. With this, eventually landing stabs becomes much more of a "feel" or prediction thing.

In their own hubris people can't seem to accept when limitations are breached, and dumb things down to "I'M GONNA WIGGLE MY MOUSE, TRICKSTAB!". It's especially upsetting when you see good players get trickstabbed, get frustrated and procede to talk about how shit the game is.

Also I especially love when people just blame spy as a whole, for example "the kunai is such an annoying weapon and anyone who mains it should be ashamed" and their reasoning is "when my teammates are bad and have no game sense spies can use the kunai to farm kills" like... Maybe don't blame the kunai if it's literally your teams fucking fault? And if your team is that horrible to just get farmed then it wouldnt be any different for any other weapon. As someone who used interp before, thats not how interp looks from the user's perspective at all, in your pov you'd see normal gameplay but not only do you do dmg to people 5 ft away from you, you also do it to them, you also pretty much to click at random since you cant know where their hitbox is. also demomman tf2?!?!?!

Do not use your mouse to aim at the spy at close range. You must only strafe while firing. If you do use your mouse do so only while backpedaling. Do not get near the spy when he has any incline height advantage. When you are matedored you will find it happened because you were holding the w key while aiming with your mouse. DO NOT PRESS THE W KEY WHILE AIMING WITH THE MOUSE AT THE SPY AT CLOSE RANGE.
