Great Setup Bruno. That thing really corners flat and can be thrown into a curve. Also the pads are good. The late braking points are always tricky for SUVs.

This is calculated with the nominal weight of 68kg per person. Ford fiesta had a pretty popular van version, as the diesel engine was very economical and vans aren't taxed as heavily for having a diesel engine. It was the perfect car for lots of small businesses that need some supplies and one or two people to do whatever job they are doing. You don't see petrol vans here though as the tax benefit comes from being exempt from diesel tax :D
That S58 engine is an absolute BEAST! I have it in my M3 and it’s fantastic. If I went to the mountains more I would probably have gone with the X3M instead of the M3. Quick tune and that X3 is pushing 700 HP!! Cray Cray

I have an F85 X5 M. I don't think people realize how absurd and uncanny the engineering, and driving dynamics BMW designed into these mom mobiles. The coolest cart Ive ever owned. The B58 motor is a monster. The X3M is faster than X5 because of weight. Both wild rides. Great video and drive.

Sadly, we got made redundant, I used to get a company car, and if we paid a bit more, we could upgrade, we were pushed to try all stock at dinner times we used to take out all cars. We tried mostly BMW parts, mercs, and Porsches, which were amazing cars, etc I had loads over the years at a company 330d, 335i, compact 323ti, 320i, 320d estate, x3 3d, X 3,35 d, M 235i, mini copper, older 235i and for only one year M3 etc and many others. Almost all cars were fully loaded, which was everything added, so they looked great. Nice cars loved them all. My favourite of the bunch is 335d touring, M235i, and fully enough, X3 335d, the second one I had fully loaded. That thing in black looked mean and was a great all-around car. It's not that big inside. When I had 4 people in, they used to complain in the front, hitting their knees in the rim around the dash. But I loved it Going from that to M3 didn't feel right, I just wanted the X3 back, to be honest. Don't get me wrong, M3 was fast and all, but to live with as daily after the novelty wore off. Not so much. 335 touring or x3 35d fully loaded for a daily 235i as drivers car . What beat them all was the porsche range we tried at dinner time and used to drive to people when we were short staffed the turbo S, GTS , Carrera 4, now that's all me :)

@@Brunovd99 that seems to work very good. I listened from many guys that use to built cars for the ring that they suggest to go for lowering springs instead of simple coil overs. If coil overs than some that you can fully adjust and not standard stuff.

I had a knocking like that in a track car. It was louder and harder and happening consistently when turning left and/or braking. I thought it was impending suspension failure so I limped back to the pits. Looked the car over and my friend pulls out his helmet and hans from behind the cage.
Verly likely just personal preference and optics. In practical terms with the X3 you gain about 50-90litres additional trunk volume and slightly more head clearance in the front seats, yet lose a bit of head clearance in the back. People just love their SUVs.
Also i lowerd on the eibach springs because the stock ones are verry hard to begin with for daily driving, the are progressive so they are softer the first part of it. The more flush look is a nice bonus! Cheers
Hello Mischa, I haven't seen very many videos from you and I'm wondering, what do you do to test the vehicle before a trip like this? Things like brake fluid come to mind. I saw a video of you where you suddenly step into space when braking. Are there vehicles where you generally trust or distrust the brake system? Not every braking system can survive such a stretch of road as hard as you push the cars.
he doesnt test the vehicles prior to the lap as far as i know. He is very experienced which in turn means he feel the brake fade if its occurs. There have been a few videos where the brakes gave up but he knows how to handle it

If you take out the backseat it falls in the category of light load like a working van and not like a normal car. That’s the reason why a lot of cars with much horsepower do it in Belgium. You pay tax here on the amount of kw/hp but not with a light load car.

I had that to between the x3m and the m3touring. I liked the wide hips on the m3 but in area a live and work area (harbor) the x3m is much more robust for the bad roads there and in Belgium in general 😢

@@radimfoucek8765 Yes, all the drivetrain and brakes(BMW M5 F90 M8 F91 F92 F93 FRONT LEFT RIGHT BRAKE DISCS PAIR 395mm X 36mm.) are from M5, engine is S58 first introduced on X3M. Then later on M2/M3 and M4 got it. M2 has a de-tuned version.
2024 X3M here, I thought that it is broken at first, but after talking with BMW M engineer, it has advanced cooling system and can lower the water temps in seconds. That way, it produces more torque as a bonus.

I had an X3 30d 2016, and it was a weapon for a car. The torque pull was hard and great for overtaking.
Try tuned X3M....it is like mad bull on steroids.

IMO X3M looks better than the M3. Probably still more comfortable ride and easier to get in and out of too. M3 touring might be more expensive also

I saw one of these in Brighton UK . The owner was driving flat out in the middle of the city aggressively weaving in and out of pedestrians and cyclists. It was impressively fast but I’m sure he’ll kill someone pretty soon.
