Thanks for sharing. I like this type of video and perhaps a lot more people will be interested to know more of this low traffic mall video too. If you could have time to share more of this type of video would be much appreciated.

I worked on the 2nd floor at Millennium Tower since 2012 and had witnessed the development of DC from ground up through the glass window next to me day in day out. The location is strategic but something must be amiss that's causing low occupancy & poor foot traffic. Thanks for sharing

Yes, I am curious to find out as well.
      Thanks for watching. Appreciate it.

It's a strategic location but high parking rates drive potential away, since MV is just a stone throw away.

This is a beautiful mall, but it is too far from where i live. With high quality tenants, i hope that this mall can thrive at 60% to 70% occupancy.

True, there is a pop-up store Aunty Aini's which is highly regarded. Can visit there for a try.
      Hopefully tenants can sustain business.

MRT has very poor access. Parking also not that convenient and not cheap..This kind of mall, weekend depend on resident which they are not many. Weekday depend on office which is OK. After MRT access is finish, it will improve..

i am a travelling engineer from abroad serving local contracts. its pretty much the same country wide. Unlike the other countries in the region Malaysia really is gloomy by comparison from the look generally.
    Hope things pick up soon.

Interesting. Although business is brisk in Mid Valley, KLCC and Sunway Pyramid.
Seems to me at least, it looks like oversupply of shopping malls.
Interesting to note other neighboring countries are doing well.
Hope things do pick up soon.

@@erikcheeyk When i was staying in damansara height my neighbors the locals wouldn't want to go there, since they're commuting using car why not go to one utama / ikea / the cruve or malls in KL which is bigger and better. It's accesible by mrt but there's nothing special about this mall for people to specifically visit there using mrt while you can go to bigger better malls using mrt too. Many would assume since the mall is surrounded with offices it would full of office workers during lunch hours, somehow it's not, same can be said to pavillion damansara height mall beside the dc mall, they are doing better but not well.

True, just too many choices of malls. The crowd moves to the biggest/latest.

It is quiet during the weekends, which was why they gave free parking. No sure whether it is still the case, I mean, with the free parking. There is the supermarket but other than that, not worth going.

Surrounding highrise building over powering or taken of facade of the mall. Seriously from out is doesn't look like mall. Is look more to convenient store to serve highrise office tenants. Same as Tropicana Garden Mall. On top condominiums is over powering the mall. From Jalan Surian facade is really doesn't look like a mall. One U is look like a mall to welcome customers with all open facade.

Isn't this property development helmed by Quek Leng Chan of Malaysia rather than his cousin, Kwek Leng Beng of Singapore?

Yes, my insightful friend. Glad you noticed. I have not come across a book by Quek Leng Chan.
If you do, please let me know.

@@erikcheeyk Parking lot is ok but the driveway ram into the car park is narrow. Only good if you drive Kanchil
