Thank you all for the recommendation. I ended up getting indoor/outdoor carpet from HomeDepo $5.63 a yrd. I also added a flip door to access the storage easier. I purchased a piano hinge for $5.96 and a recessed grab handle for the door $5.88. Build now cost me $24 total with tax now: thank you for watching.
Ole boy said he didn’t want us to know what the fridge was, but we all saw it in the intro. Hahahha. I love the honest and raw content my man. Thanks for the informative video. I like my seat too much to take it out, but if I ever do! I’ll use this video to do it right!
Great idea, simple and effective. I noticed you have the rough country seat covers, how are they for long drives? I have had neoprene/water proof style seat covers on my previous vehicles but always ended up taking them off because they induced severe back sweating 😅
Hahahha, those are very true words! I like them because we get sweaty and dirty a lot here on the farm and it keeps that mess off my seats, plus they’re easy to clean. But on long trips or when the top is off, they’ll for sure heat your backside up. Maybe a good thing for winter months? But they serve a purpose and I like the benefits more than the negative. That was a marketplace find - $20
If you have a suggestion for covering the plywood, please let me know.

Could paint wood black and attach a rubber mat on top to hide the shelf.
