Very well done and thanks for sharing. I will be doing a similar build for my tacoma, however, I am considering making removable sections so as to access the preexisting storage space underneath the seats.
Sure! From the seat back along the bottom to the back of the cab is 34”, the width from door to door is 55”, the height from the floor to ceiling is 40” as measured from the behind the front seats.
6’2” so the seats are back almost all the way. In that position they don’t recline at all. Just the other day I took a short snooze in it but had to move the seat up about half way before I could recline it about half the normal distance. Was good enough for this road weary traveller. I’m doing a trip up to the Canadian arctic and Alaska with the truck right now. 10 weeks of flyfishing and photography pulling a small camper.

Thanks and good luck with the build!
Excellent job.very nice short videos.
Thanks!
Can you please clarify how you attached the rear panel to the cab? Did you drill screws directly into the sheet metal? 7:09
Yes, I used self tapping stainless steel screws directly into the sheet metal.
Can you give us the new back area dimensions? Thanks...this looks amazing!

I have a 2014 and need to do this. What year is yours?
2016.
Did you end up removing the storage boxes that are under the seats?
I kept the storage boxes as this isn’t permanent for me. Putting the seats back in soon.
Do the seats fully recline

Is that a 7 1/8 on the base support height?
The base support is 7 1/18" cut. With the top piece and carpet in place it comes to 7 3/4" in total. Cheers.
you sound Albertan... am I close ?
Fraser Valley BC!
Hi, you mention listing out the materials you used however you don't say what the carpet is (brand) and it's not clear on the packaging.
The package is poorly marked. Here is the link: www.amazon.ca/Marine-Upholstery-Durable-Backed-Automotive/dp/B07175S25Q
too bad you didnt leave room for the seats to recline.
Reclines them a bit but I needed max space in the back for all my gear so rarely needed it.
I did the same thing ha ha.
But I rarely need my seat to be reclined like that .
The storage is much better for me at least
