Thank you very much! I’m very pleased with the unit so far. Seems very solid and is doing a good job of filling my AirForce Condor and FX Impact tanks. Hopefully it will hold up as long as I treat it well.
Hi, nice intro to the product. Something that has always confused me. I know that filling a large tank will overheat the unit, but surely you can do a partial fill, wait a few hours then fill again, repeat until the big tank is full. How is 5 partial fills of a big tank any different to fulling a small tank 5 times.
I think that's an excellent question. I would say the answer has to do with the output flow rates of the various compressors. The flow rate of the GX CS2 is approximately 5 liters/min vs. the flow rate of a Yong Heng which is around 25 liters/min. Ultimately, you would have around 5 times more fills required by the GX CS2 compared to the YH if you try filling a larger tank. That would have a significant cumulative effect on ware and tear of the unit over time. They were just not built for that purpose- bottom line. Could you do it? Sure, but you might as well go ahead and order another one because it's not going to last very long.
@@jmarkreed I still don't see the problem, if I am going to consume 500cc of compressed air in a week, I will still consume 500cc, doesn't matter if I consume it from one refill of a 500cc bottle which took 5 x 100cc doses to fill, or 5 fills of a 100cc cylinder. Either way the compressor is doing the same amount of work.
@Air Gun Nope, can't agree. The amount of times you run the GX depends on how much you shoot. Doesn't matter if you charge a small tank five times or a take five times with a break in-between to charge a large tank. Either way you are shooting 500c of air in the same time period. ZERO difference in the wear and tear.
Got one on the way. I see that the grease syringe is no longer supplied, cost saving? Lost of little questions popping up. Thanks for video!
Great video! Well put together

Please do video on your yong heng setup.
Yes, thank you, I will try to do that soon.

Good review..
How's she holdin' up Mark?
Thanks for asking. No problems so far. It’s a sweet little compressor as long as you don’t push it too hard.
