Bandai is always on fire about anime-is game...most of them just copy paste. Capcom is the real dev studio that real on fire... RE7, MH: World, DMC V, RE2 Remake, RE3 Remake, MH: Rise, RE8...next year can be Dino Crisis Remake, who knows.
@@syv5013 RE 3 Remake was trashz MH World is copy paste from other games with your logic. Half of the game you mentioned are Remakes. Only Resident Evil 7 and 8 and DMC 5 are the actual good games. Not to mention you talk about real dev studio when Bandai has the best fighting game which has sold more than all the games you mentioned.
I feel like that whole operation would have been significantly easier on the characters if they were not all standing up while having giant needles stabbed directly through their internal organs.
@@Tiyratania They made a physical impact, but of course anime video game logic would state the magic pipes pumping in psychic fluid doesn't leave an impact on the characters physical state. It's not like these characters were not going to get impaled three times over through the course of the story anyway.
Judging from this and previous trailers, I'm pretty sure it's a one-time thing meant as a type of initiation to actually enable the brain link/s indefinitely. I mean, it literally says "This aptitude test will determine your platoon assignment." in this very video.

It's really not as anime as you're making it out to be - a lot of aptitude/conditioning tests in real life are done under strenuous conditions and this is true for military, police, fire service and even several sports tests.
The combat looks quite fun, especially throwing objects telekinetically and the satisfying crunch as they smash into enemies. I remain hopeful about this game! That said, the non-combat stuff on display doesn't seem like my cup of tea. Raising character bonding levels by watching static cutscenes feels lazy. Why not go on a mission with these characters where you're doing something uniquely related to them?

@@Aggro224 I agree, that episode chat seemed so disjointed popping around stiff. I am seeing this as way a few months for about a 50 percent sale and give it a try. Sad, as the reveal for it had me hyped and thinking it was a true next gen anime game.
Can't wait to play this and hopefully they have the original Japanese dub. Believe me there are some games that are worth playing in English Dub like Persona 5 or Final Fantasy 7, but some that are best played in the original Japanese dub, such as God Eater 3 or Nier Automata, which is also why I'm glad the 1st remake will have that too.

Was pleasantly surprised by Code Vein when I picked it up cheap. This reminds me of that.
Some of the same people worked on this one so some of those features from Code Vein returned.
