Some couches come with changeable covers so maybe she just changes those. Lovely over the top house, I have a lofty goal to one day be the kind of person who changes curtains for Christmas, but am nowhere near yet.

I don't know if anyone had mentioned to you about the tree skirt and presents not showing up around tree when you have your sim do it, but you have to have it away from everything as if sim could walk all the way around it and then they will show up.. after they are done you can move whole thing back where you want.. also if you just use presents that appear under tree and Father Winter comes he will fill it up even more under tree and it looks awesome. The gifting works it 2 ways.. yes if sim is giving a gift they have to have it in inventory, but they also can open gifts from under tree as a family. BTW your builds are soo beautiful and inspiring, from just watching you I have learned some things I didn't know about. Thank you soo much for making these videos. 💗💗💗

Just saw this on the gallery and had to come see it here. Love how you made a craft room and the tree house!! Almost think you made it for my family lol!! I will want to change up some things and use some cc that my daughter put in my game for me. I am an old gamer since sims 1 and have just started learning about sims 4 even though it's been out for sometime now. As a real crafter I love how they have craft things now for the sims! There are still some things from sims 3 I wish sims 4 would get for game play. Thank's for building this house!! It would have taken me forever since I am not use to building yet on sims 4.

Something I have thought about with the Sims is definitely adding a sports pack so they can be sport players and become famous off of that, because we have the universty pack which is just soccer in college but thats just my opinion🤗.

My grandmother is that person! She has a red version of her usual grey couch that she keeps in a spare room and when it’s Christmas she makes my grandfather redecorate the living room by putting up new wall paper that has red in it, then when winter is over she makes him decorate it to whatever is trendy (last year it was that mustard colour that she had in her wall paper, curtains, rug, etc.)

The whole point of Sims express is that it requires no update, so that's why the new items came with basegame, they probably only made the code compatable with the base game and not paid content

Carl’s guide just came out with the seasons mod that I think will let you change the season in build mode. It might help with snow like this when it comes to the landscaping.

As far as the tree goes, you can click on the stacks of presents to open one, but I’m not sure if you have to have one in your inventory?

beautiful build. there are snow piles in debug i’ve used them before and i could swear in the video you picked one up but didn’t place it. My eyes could be playing tricks on me though lol Happy Holidays
i think you should have put a comfy dad chair in the garage next to the space heater lmao really put emphasis on him spending a lot of time in there.
You should make a home with either a father/mother that is in the military career and they have a ton of medals and stuff. Maybe they would have kind of a strict 'no mess' policy for their home and everything is tidy. Maybe the other parent would be like a chef or maybe a professor, or they would be a single parent. Maybe there's a pair of twin children and a toddler, and the toddler is super wild. The military parent may have a hard time handling the little one. For the twins, maybe one of them is really creative and into building or art or music. Maybe they are somewhat messy or something. The other may want to be just like their military parent, and they like things neat and straight-forward. (There's a calendar from Get To Work that might be perfect for this.)
I just think it would be fun! Merry Christmas, and I can't believe your son is actually a year old..!
the walls on the outside kinda gave me gingerbread house and it kinda makes me want to make a gingerbread themed house in the sims
by the way i've found a way to make an oldtimey box tv like from the 40s and 50s i put the prebuild one on my gallery if you ever want to use it

With the tree you have to have it away from the wall enough so the decorations appear
If your sim has a camera, they can take selfies or photos of others. The pictures store into their inventory. You can then place them on the walls as is, size them up like posters, or frame them for your mantle/desk/etc.
I feel like the mother is a nurse, maybe in the childrens wing and gives the kids presents or a school teacher

I love your builds so much and your stories are perfect such a sweet voice you have i could listen to you talk all day lol question why do you move the tables out and rearrange the clutter in air before moving the tables back under the clutter sorry I'm really trying to learn building in sims 4 I was I think pretty good at builds in 1 2 and 3 but 4 has me stomped

Hi!Merry Christmas!! I have a problem and I don't know if it's just me or others but it's a bug in my game that doesn't allow me to open more than one command eg: I can't cook, I swing, open the box with toys, play cards…I really don't know what to do and I really liked the game
I have to ask. How on earth do you do to make the clutter go EXACTLY where you want?? (like all pile up together) btw, i love youuu and your videos!!!
Do the bb.moveobject cheat. Then place the clutter u want on a desk etc. Move the desk, hold alt if your on pc/ laptop -idk the controls 4 ps4 or xbox- and place the clytter where u want it to be on the desk
For ps4 you need to press r1 L1 r2 L2 (or it was smth like that, it's kind muscle memory to me now lmao) and then you do Testingcheats true then press ok on the warning that comes on then you do bb.moveobjects and yea 😅

yes when I tried to decorate the tree with a skirt it wouldn’t appear. Glad to know that I wasn’t the only person who was experiencing this.
How do you stop the plants from being weird near the foundation of houses? Whenever I try to place any landscaping plants around the perimeter of the house, they sort of ‘jump up’ onto the foundation when I get too close. Super frustrating! Is this just a glitch I’m experiencing or am I doing something wrong?

Are you playing legacy edition or something? They patched out the foundation glitch a couple of years ago so your plants shouldn’t “jump up” anymore. I think Dawn is also using quite a few debug plants but the regular ones shouldn’t move the way you describe either :(
@@yazplatt how would I know if I’m playing legacy edition? I’ve been playing since the game first released, if that helps! And yeah, I use debug and catalogue plants but they all do the same thing :(
