I love this build so much, it looks so cosy!! I'm excited to see your winter builds. Maybe you could build a traditional English farmhouse where the mom goes crazy decorating for the holidays? I think that would be so cute!

I love cc builds, I cannot play without cc! All the in game content gets so boring to use after a while. It's nice to mix n match. Madame ria (kitchen set), Tuds, Charly pancakes, sixamcc, maxus20, peacemaker, myshunosun, illogical sims, and simplistic for gorgeous wallpapers. They are some of my fave cc creators!
I love cc. but I can play without it and so can a lot of simmers. just hope modless and cc free people dont get forgot from this point out. its great that she has a huge catelog from up until now but we love the new content too.
@@astarrcolmon I HIGHLY doubt that everyone will stop using in game options all of a sudden. I think a lot of builders are just feeling a little bored with it and want to have some fun, nothing wrong with that! ☺️
I'm sure cc builds help them have some fun and then motivate them to do Maxis only builds, too. Some comments on this video seem a little judgemental and honestly straight up rude about simlicy just trying out new stuff, and I hope she doesn't feel discouraged from them.
@@supercalifragilisticexpial9373 I think criticism can be good. I highly doubt everyone will stop using the in game options as well. there's no way around that lol. some comments may come off rude maybe just because they're straight to the point. people like what they like and dont like what they dont. there's no problem in suggesting something. and there's no problem wanting the old ways to still be interjected. she does maxis only builds. that isn't a problem she has. I simply suggest that she not forget those who don't use the tool mod while she's having fun.
@@astarrcolmon exactly my point! She still does Maxis builds and is still having fun with CC, and people should be happy cause people who like cc builds are getting them, and people who don't are getting Maxis builds, it's best of both worlds. I think SOME comments came off as demanding her to build the way THEY would like rather than suggesting, and it seemed out of place to make those "criticisms" like that in the first place when she's literally still doing the builds both sides of the community like. She literally JUST did a Maxis only build that everyone in the comments was praising as one of her best builds yet, and it was maxis. So she definitely still actively cares about console and lower end PC players that can't handle cc. As for the TOOL mod, I find you only really need that mod in apartment builds for the windows, and residential lots don't need the mod installed for items manipulated to stay in place. But there are plenty of awesome apartment builds by simlicy and other builders that don't require it. Anyways, that's just my viewpoint on it! ✌️😄 Have a good day

It would be sooo cute to see you build a big log cabin in the woods kind of build, probably in the fall or winter. Wood on the outside with a big loft, really big windows, and maybe even an off-the-grid trait, or simple living (lot trait)!!

Love this! Not sure if you know this but in the UK it’s more common to have your washing machine and dryer in the kitchen rather than a separate room/closet. I suppose that doesn’t really apply for big rich people houses like this but still thought I’d let you know in case you didn’t ❤️
The layout of the house being side on, with the sort of wraparound drive leading up to door is actually found really commonly in my country, especially with traditional English farmhouses and country cottages, so it really lends an authentic “country cottage” feel to it!

I dont think its about getting offended over cc its about not all of us being able to handle a lot of dawn's builds because of the clutter. and now having to add extra content to our games including tool mod now for most of her recent builds Is a lot on peoples computers. especially if you play a lot and have a lot of saves already. or a big save. I couldn't use her save at all and now she's making tool mod edits to her save and it just makes it that much more unusable
@@astarrcolmon you don't need to use the mod tool unless you need to change windows in apartments. it's not necessary for other builds that use it.
So I’m a console player which means I can’t access any kind of CC and while that bums me out, I’m a tiny percentage of the player base so it makes sense that builders go for it with the CC - why wouldn’t you want your favourite builders to use all the tools at their disposal
@@owlsnotes she has been changing windows and doors very often. I dont want that mod in my game it's too big. I dont see why I keep having to explain myself on that. she has a super crazy computer that not a lot of people have

i’m so obsessed with her builds she’s makes me want to download so much CC with her recent builds 😩 i would so love to see a winter/christmas vacation lot so that it’s a build you don’t have to go through and delete the decorations after the holidays haha

I imagine the parents to be a German doctor couple, Sabine and Georg, who go hunting from time to time and spend a lot of their time with their twins Philipp and Laura, they all love wellies and Ralph Lauren and their Münsterländer Tim. The perfection crumbles when Max is born and brings chaos into this very grownup household

god i wish i was more tempted to do laundry rooms in my builds cuz idk playing with laundry rooms is so annoying to me, I don't want to have to do my sims' laundry 😭
maybe they should add decorative laundry items so you don't actually have to do the laundry whenever your sim randomly decides to change clothes

The storyline you mentioned reminds me of Clare Siobhans peach gen sims in her Not So Berry Challenge because the parents had 2 children (not twins but close in age) and then the dad turned into an elder but the mum got pregnant again hahaha.

Regular bath and regular shower in sims depends on the hygine stat on the item; takes super long if the item has low hygine :D

The weather doesn’t affect the animals :) but if you’re worried, you can get them some clothes to help keep them warm. But basically IF they were cold, they’d go into their barn, but there’s nothing that “tells” you that they’re cold.
It looks really cozy, but I would love to see your builds have a little more room in the interiors. Game play requires skill building objects (and each sim requires different ones), and there is rarely ever enough room in these houses that have small rooms chock full of stuff. I've downloaded a few and I struggle!

Are you making videos of you creating the sims as well?
It would make sense to only have them in the save file, but for people without many packs that aren’t able to get the save file (some builds are unrecognisable when you don’t have the right packs. So it doesn’t make much sense to download it.) it would be interesting to see the sims.
It’s interested when people get offended over cc when more than half of her channel is full of non-cc builds. Almost seems like they’re looking for things to complain about. Also, you can still use this in your game if you don’t have cc by simply replacing the furniture.
Are there any adjustments you have made to your shaders to make the shadows more noticeable? I really like the way your game looks and I’m wondering if changing any of my shader settings would make my game look more like that
I just use Dove by Kindlespice and I didn’t make any adjustments except for turning off the blurry background 💜

It’s funny that you put a Picture in the living area to replace as the TV, because I ACTUALLY have a TV made by Samsung the is called “The Frame” because it literally hangs on the wall and looks like an actual picture. It has 1000’s of different art pieces you can choose for it, and a ton of different frames to choose from. We chose an off white color to go with our boho farmhouse vibe.

I love cc builds so much! Plenty of other YTers do base game or non-cc builds aplenty, so it's always enjoyable to see builds with a lot of cc. In particular I always love the decorating part 😍
