Super happy, I had link ECU before, switched over to haltec 1500 and man I'm impressed. I dynoed at 668hp with 545 torque on my built 04 Evo 8 on a very safe tune and man I'm freaking happy
Does the knock control on the 1500 has "FFT analysis" like you mention on your website for the 2500? (even though i think it does since it needs to do FFT processing to detect the knock signal either way)
Haltech quick question Mat in this video says 1500 for wrx but on a wrx you have 2 cylinder heads both opposite sides ? when you say the 2500 has dual knock does that mean you have 2 knock sensors ? because on a wrx u need 2 knock sensors 1 on each head ? so im guessing u cant use the 1500 ?
Elite, Sport and Sprint ECUs are universal, you can get make/model specific harnesses that replace the factory wiring. If you're after a plug-in solution then go with the Pro Plugin Series. These units are make/model specific and plug directly into the factory harness.
Hi Haltech, will the elite 2500 work on a 5 cylinder platform? I have a 2.3L 20v 5-cylinder in a 1990 Audi Coupe Quattro. Thank you in advance for any response.
can the 2500 work on both an rb25det and a 1jz gte vvti i have both engines for the same car .another question is will the 2500 work with my automatic tranny on the rb25
Is this ecu have auto tuning or need tuner.for normal used not racing or turbos. and control individual ignition coil , this ecu control fuel system and ignition system until 8 cylinders. and what about the full course from A-Z for beginners what the period and cost and time and location .best regards,
Wow... that's quite a few questions in a single post. Let us address each individually:) 1. We always recommend you have a qualified tuner do the tuning. The self learning feature will help the ECU adapt to your requirements over time. 2. Yes Elite ECUs can control individual ignition coils. For an 8 cylinder engine you'll need an Elite 2500. 3. If you are a beginner and want to learn how to tune these are the places we highly recommend: www.hpacademy.com/ www.efi101.com/
@@haltech thank you Haltech for quick reply and interest. Just now finished talking with Mr Matt on sales more than 35 minutes long distances call. Best regards, Salem Www.a1autoservices.ae
***** Elite series is in a completely different league so it's unfair to even compare them. We honestly can't see any feature or function that either of them would perform as well let alone better than the Elite. We would welcome any head to head comparisons.
***** Depends on what the application is, if it's just a modded street car then we would recommend our Pro Plugin ECU but if it's a 9 second drag car (yes there are some really fast S2K drag cars out there) then the Elite would be perfectly appropriate.
haltechecu I'm looking at it from the stance that this is a product that can support my needs in the long term rather than the here and now. I rather over over engineer a build one step at a time now, than regret cutting corners and settling for what gets me by in the hear and now and its great not to see a company not only provide products with that kind of thinking in mind, but be honest with a customer about their needs rather attempt to an dime off them here and there. Keep up the great work and look forward to doing business with you guys when the time comes.
It depends on the model of the PnP harness. Best bet is to contact our tech support on support@haltech.com one of our tech guys will be able to confirm:)
On an Elite 1500, yes staged injection would be semi-sequential as you only have 4 injector drivers. You can do sequential staged injection on a 4 cylinder with our Elite 2500 ECU which has 8 injector drivers.
For an LS we would recommend Elite 2500. We also have a full range of terminated engine harnesses:) www.haltech.com/product-category/gm/gen-iv-ls2-ls3/

Nice! Gotta look at the price difference.
Can you do a video about how to setup traction control on the 1500 or 2500? Thanks :)
Yep, we're working on one now!
I wonder if the Elite 1500 would work on a srt4 neon if i had a custom harness made....????
Does the knock control on the 1500 has "FFT analysis" like you mention on your website for the 2500? (even though i think it does since it needs to do FFT processing to detect the knock signal either way)
+St0RM33
Yes, the Elite 1500 uses FFT for knock detection.
+haltechecu I like the elite 1500 a lot but seeing my audi' factory ECU has 2 knock sensors, how do I go around that to make it work with the 1500?

Waht is the semi sequential waist spark application? in order i want to install the Elite 1500 on V8 3uz-fe dose it run the vvti properly?

Elite 1500 for 4 cylinder dual spark setup?
Hi Haltech can I use the elite 2500 on a 4 to 8 cylinder engine or is it just for 6 to 8 cylinder engine? and thanks
Absolutely. Elite 2500 can be used on a 4, 6 or 8 cylinder engine.
Thanks a lot Haltech
What about 16 cylinder.... I don't need it but just curious
So it can’t be used on a 5 cylinder engine or 3 cylinder engine
@@youtubecomments5951 It's suitable for engines going from 1 to 12 cylinder it will definitely work.

Can Haltech Elite do rolling anti like pro efi ECU?
