What I love about Conan, and so many people forget about this legendary comedic genius, is that he graduated with the highest academic honors from Harvard University. He's not only incredibly funny but unbelievably intelligent.

Fun fact for Dave: the in-house band for Late Night With Conan O'Brien was lead by drummer Max Weinberg. His son is Jay Weinberg, the previous drummer for Slipknot. Any sketch involving Max was absolutely insane, and often pushed the boundaries of what the FCC would allow (e.g. "Weinberg on Weinberg")

Conan does seem like a legit nice guy. I'll add my vote for the Secret Santa Conan skit. It's one of my favorites.
This is their second skit all together. See Lyft skit. Both of these remotes are legendary. This trio's comedy chemistry is the perfect trifecta mix of personalities how they all bounce off one another like a piece of symphony music. There's just a musicality to it, a rhythm. And I'd wished they'd done more. Although Conan and Kevin at the gym is also an instant comedy classic.
But, Cube is the undercover brother Goat in these sketches both times, not only keepin' up with two world class comedians at the top of their game, but instigating the bits and more often than not, getting the most quotable money line from every scenario. I always say this, but we love Cube so much that society looks the other way on his solo and NWA rap body of work which would get anyone and everyone else cancelled from planet Earth.

All of the remote bits he does are where Conan shines best. I watched one of the episodes of his new HBO show and it was pretty "meh" but I think it was also because he was in Norway, and the stereotype of them being cold and having no sense of humor totally shined through.

I don't like Conan and it's not because he's too flamboyant. It's because he's not funny while being too flamboyant.
There is nothing funny about Ice Cube. He plays the same character in every movie, he's the straight man paired up with a comedian. He's the tough, mean bad-ass while someone else makes jokes and he snarls at the camera.
Friday movies, Three Kings, Barbershop movies, All about Benjamins, First Sunday, 21 & 22 Jumpstreet, Ride Along 1 & 2 and Fist Fight just to name a few. It is literally the exact same character in each movie.
But it's really every movie he has made. It's not acting either, he just plays what he thinks is a tough guy over and over and over. Hell, he even plays that character in XXX and Ghost of Mars.
