Hmong Village Chiang Mai

Good evening to all of our ‪@vagabondlife2018‬ subscribers, and if you have just found our channel Welcome.
Today we take you up Doi Suthep & Doi Pui mountains on the scooters and take you to the Doi Pui Hmong Tribal village (Doi in northern Thai means mountain).
This village is really a tourist attraction as the villagers do not live there, but it is set up to show you how they would live, and you can see some of the villagers making & weaving their beautiful and colourful garments, along with bags, head dress and trinkets.
It only costs 20 baht (94 cents NZD, or 87 cents AUD, or 56 cents USD) and you can walk through the beautifully planted & landscaped flower gardens and take a brief walk up to the waterfall.
As you move up the mountain from the base back in Chiang Mai, you can feel the temperature change and it was much cooler up the mountain, although at times it was very cold (like walking into a freezer)
It is a great day out and allows you to keep nice a cool from the Chiang Mai humidity.

Which wines did you buy and how much? Did you get the Lychee or the Apple or another one?

Hi Sharri, we bought a bottle each of the lychee and mango wine. They were 200 baht each but because we bought two we only paid 350 baht. They are very fragrant both in smell and taste.
