HI Darren Another great video of Thai street food it was a shame that a lot more places were not open at the time and also the weather .
You seem to be enjoying the food so far,I have read that Pad-Thai is the most popular food there.
I take that this will be on your list of foods to try.
Looking forward to the next one.
Lovely
No apologies needed Darren really enjoyed this video😅❤🎉
Great 1 Darren
What a fantastic experience darren..so glad youre enjoying yourself...enjoy every minute...this is a real treat watching you darren ...really mean this..safe travels sweetheart ❤❤
Those cheese toasties were there in the 90s,love the sound of 7 11 door.tthat mango sticky rice looked yum ,my favourite, in thailand .Nice video darren
Evening Darren, maybe it's a "very late night market". Compared to the other one you went to. Crossing the road I'd have taken a taxi to the other side, then again have seen the way the traffic behaves 🤔🤔😱Thought they were pigs trotters 🐷🐖As always honesty in your reviews. Calling time on the noodles and chicken. 🍜🐔Not what you expected. Have to say I noticed not a lot of hardsell from the stall holders 😊 Then you see a supermarket. Brilliant." A little bit popular in Thailand" 12,000 of them 👌👍don't apologise for anything in your videos, just showin'us as it is. Cheers Allan&Family PS I'm now off to dig out the old-fashioned Brevil and make believe it's a rainy night in Thailand 😊😊
Well done again Darren yet another great video 👍

Cracking content. The night time, the neon lights and the rain make this one so atmospheric. Mango sticky rice looks great. I can’t believe that first meal was £1!!!! Unbelievable value.
Loving these walkabouts DJ.
Keep’em coming.
🙏❤️.x

Thanks Darren. A great long food video. I hope your Chopstick Stills improve over time. I love Dumplings lunchtime as part of Dim Sum. Enjoy Durian as part of Juice.
There are some lovely little restaurants to eat and they'll have a good selection probably would have been better considering the weather thanks Darren when we getting that massage vid eh up!!

Good man Darren.
Definitely like the look of the sweet sticky rice & mango with the crispy mung beans 👌🤗......i dont like cheese, so I'd give the toasty a miss but it looked ok.

It's Durian fruit. Great vids.
I did think you were going to be moved on from someones else's table. 😆

If you have not tried Som Tam (Green papaya salad) with your favourite sticky rice yet you need to get on it before you get home, it will blow your mind. Loving the videos!!!

Cheers Darren another great video 😊 I am in love with Thailand now 😁😁😁 everything is so cheap! Puts us to shame!
Sticky rice & Mango delish xx
Fabulous. What a food experience that market was. The mango sticky rice stood out for me, looked gorgeous. The food is very reasonably priced there, everything seems to be made with love and care.

That was just my thoughts too this is rainy season, best time is December January February
Great vids of your adventures over there bud.
Your watch looks very nice 👌👍
i bet its popping late night, thanks for the vid
Really enjoying your Thailand videos and can see you sre loving life at the moment 🙂. I think your doing a sterling job filming without the aid of a cameraman, can't be easy. Hope you continue to enjoy the rest of your holiday.

Hi Darren, the Mango Sticky Rice at the Street Food Market looked so very Nice 🎉 and your Ham and Cheese toastie from Seven Eleven shop looked Great. You're The Best, Darren
Hi Darren, glad your enjoying Thailand.
There are some great tutorials on TH-cam for using chopsticks 😉
Hi dj we have been to asia 25 times be carefull with some street food try a meal in your hotel or good restaraunt good vlog
Hey up Darren you should have just gone for it at one of the places with tables, still an interesting video though
Please don’t apologise Darren. It's so appreciated that you show us all these lovely things. It all looked so delicious, particularly the sweet mango-sticky rice.
Somehow the rain makes it more authentic. ❤
So nice of you
I loved Koh Samui, when I went to Thailand,(2003) one of the islands, worth a visit if you have time
สวัสดีค่ะ🙏🤤🤤🇹🇭
What are you waiting for, life is short, get some Durian fruit. Its a delicacy, special fruit.
The mango sticky rice was definitely the best looking of the bunch DJ. Very much a local’s market unlit except for the open stalls. Toasted ham cheese sandwich to finish nice🙏🏻
That the locals go to!
THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO HAVE MORE DUMPLING THAN FILLING. IT'S THE SAME IN CHINA TOWN, IN THE UK.
Darren thais appreciate saying thank you in thai its easy " khun krap" it goes a long way 👍
Hello :Sawadee khrap.
Very Delicious : Aroy mak.
Thank you : khrap kun krap
🙏🙏🙏
Yes agree, it's always appreciated if you make an effort to say a few basic words /phrases.
Lucky you darren
Enjoying the Thai series so far DJ 👍
Hi Darren
Well October is when the big rains start
We are in Hua hin we had big storm ⛈ last night and we have been told to expect it again tonight
Hope you can visit Hua hin I think it will surprise you with its Thai food and European food plus the night life lots too look at plus the shopping centers if you like that kind of thinking
Thai people have to work every night to have food for them selfs no matter what the weather
Take care Darren
Please don't apologise, it's all taking in the experience, and the rain 🙄. Thank you. 😘
Thai Kick boxing worth a visit.
in 30 trips since 1998,ive never been to changmai.thanks for the video.
Missed you terribly 😢 have fun and be safe. Glad you're back!
Great to see you free styling. I would have a rule though especially with the less busy places. Don't buy anything that you can't see being prepared fresh. Same applies to western countries.
Get up here to the Isaan Province, Darren, and go find the real Thailand. You are only at the periphery of what this spectacular country has to sensationally offer, FACT! Another great video; thanks so much.
Wait until you find the crispy pork stalls...Had it in Phuket... UNBELIEVABLE...👌👌🙏
Great video enjoying your journey.🤩❤️👍
Great video Darren, Have you decided if you are going to stay in Thailand?
I have been thinking about it for months Paul
@@DJsFoodTravels its the best thing i ever did
Would be great to see you two do a collab video.
@@R.C.M.. Darren is a busy man, if he does decide to stay I’m sure we can meet up for a fantastic lunch
@@Paul_G_Eats Hi Paul. Yes, I know Darren is on holiday and on a set itinerary for his video production whilst in Thailand. Maybe next time, if you guys are in discussions. 👍
Hi, try, K pow moor ki dow cab, spicy pork with rice and a fried egg on top , its a very popular dish with westerners, good luck.
@@kevindavis7429 kapow moo yes very nice, also masaman
Still watching journey it's pouring down in England pity it's raining in Thailand😃
When you get to pattaya try terminal 21 food court lost of choice good food and very cheap
Englishman: "I'm off to the tropics to get away from all this rain". lol. A crunchy component in a dish is considered well made in Chinese dishes ,probably in Thailand ,too. If you ever get out of the big cities in the US, especially New York, you will find the food prices more reasonable, even in these times.
You need to try Sai ua - Chiang Mai sausage. A proper sausage... and has already been said, spicy green papaya salad ...
You promised the Durian challenge 😢😢
Darren come to Hua hin I can take you to a market early in the morning to see everything from fish plus chicken plus vegetables and flowers but it would be a 6 o’clock morning start
But you would have a good Thai breakfast
Glad you're feeling better, Darren. You were making health food videos; vanished for awhile and next thing we know; you're in Chiang Mai!!!😃
For those who dont follow the channel, I guess so yes
@@DJsFoodTravels I’ve been following your channel for awhile now.
I used to get myself 2 ham and cheese toasties. Then my Thai wife wanted to try. Now it's one each. I also get the prawn dumplings in the pink package.
Treat yourself to fine dining soon, love the food market reviews on mopeds and various transport
Have you ever suffered from food poisoning after eating out ?
Never
Lol remember the good old breville daz they were the days my friend I can't believe how cheap the food is from a british perspective live like a king mate
Can you go to a lovely restaurant Darren?
Those pork dumpling buns would go well with a little Worcestershire sauce on the mint (จิ๊กโฉ่ว - Cík c̄hòw ).You can ask from the stall.
The weather should be better when you get to Pattaya
I hope you are getting rid of a bit of buttermilk 😊
Oh dear. Makes Sean King look professional.
Who's that?
😂😂
Daren make sure you get back to the UK; your family needs you!! 🤍
Sticky mango rice and you forgot to pour the coconut sauce over it.
Its called banana kitchen 👍
All a bit random and very uninspiring I'm afraid DJ.
Try Tom Kha Gai (soup), Mussaman Curry, Pad Kra Pao Moo Saap... Som Tam Thai you will love it (papaya salad). Simple pork fried rice.. Local sausages stuffed with rice... Way better than that random visit to a night market that hadn't even opened. You'll get there as thais are very friendly.. And learn a few simple commands. Hello, thank you, delicious etc. I wanna see you have fun
Thanks for your concern, but i'm having the time of my life
7-11 best shop in Thailand
Rainy season is coming to an end now but September through to the middle of October get the most rain, Thailand has the least amount of English speakers in south east asia, they just don’t learn it I’m afraid, a few of the younger kids can speak it but they are taught American English so it’s not correct but at least they try, very few stall holders will speak English and their signage is rarely in English and Thai….the rains normally stop around the 15th October so you should get a bit dryer weather soon
Your supposed to pour the milk over the sticky rice and mango it will elevate it even more.
Instead of thank you suggest you try cop kuhn cap,the Thais appreciate you trying.
Did your Hotel have evening meals?
Yes, but I always eat out
Another great vlog, DJ, those noodles looked a bit suss 😂
Only £1 😋…..Soy Sauce 🙂…..Basil 😐….Not really my favourite 🤢…..Think I’ll leave it 🤮 (sorry, it did make me smile 👍)
Well, that was different , cant say i liked the look of the food but you got to try. Can't wait fot the next one x
Brown sugar,You would get life for that in Thailand Darren.😛
Do you still see The MacMaster ? Havent seen you both in a video for a long time
Ouch!
@@Madmart54 I've just watched back and now I'm clued up on this.
I’m just like you don’t matter how many times I try I can’t use them fooking chop sticks lol
