A masterboard collage is a large collaged piece that you can cut up into smaller pieces to use for making:
    --ATCs
    --book pages in a journal
    --background for placing a photo
    --mail-art postcards (in this case)
You can make a master board that is 12 inches x 12 inches, and then cut it down to the size of art you would like.
I go step by step on how I created an oversized masterboard, and what I did with it once the first round of collaging was complete.

You wete populated in my TH-cam feed. So glad you were! These postcards are beautiful, especially the addition of your daughter's spin art. I've just started making master boards. Your idea to draw the lines for your post cards is so clever, you can really see how to postion elements to include them on each card. TFS, Tricia

These are just so beautiful, Margarete. Thank you for your instructional videos that help me so much in understanding why you do things the way you do. I’m very much a beginner in understanding art and craft.

I heard a suggestion that once you get your layout, take a picture of it with your phone before you start gluing. Thought that was a great idea.

Love this idea Margarete! I especially like how you sectioned off the paper to help you arrange your pieces. And then the encouragement to walk away for a bit of time is helpful. Thank you for walking us through your process. That REALLY helps and I learn so much that way. These are beautiful postcards.

Great idea, like the way you ruled the background up to give some idea of placement. Thank you for sharing. Sue💜

Marrgarete, I would like to share with you a trick: instead of cutting the master board into cards and then looking at each one, I made four cards out of scrap 4 x 6, to place around areas where each card will be and isolate each card, blocking the neighboring cards.. This way, each card can be analyzed before cutting. I hope that this makes sense. I like to put a sealer on the master board before cutting, which is why I came up with this solution. Thank you for your videos. I am a new paper crafter and find your instructions to be really helpful.

I still return to your old videos ... I get so inspired and its funny , when l see your video l learn a lot ... When l begann doing collage l felt l had no time , All had to go so farst ... Then l got sick and had to slow down , and l begann making small collages on playing cards ... Now l am getting better and stronger , and my collages are getting bigger and l am beginning to be good to mix papers and colours together ... People even ask if l want to sell my Art ... But l am not there yet , and maybe l realy dont have much time , so Thank you , Margaret for the wonderful videos with your awsome Art ❤️❤️❤️
