So funny seeing that people were a lot less adverse back then to do some basic diy let alone a renovation! Also the decor from the late 90s/early 00 is funny to look back on! These old episodes are good to look back on. So much has changed.

Courtesy rule when viewing a house: Never sit or sprawl on the beds! If the homeowners were present they wouldn’t do it.

I was surprised seeing all four of them sitting on the bed and especially with legs sprawl the cross the bed with shoes on. How disgusting and how rude. How would they feel if somebody did that to their home, including Phil and Christy as they are the one that should be setting the example of what not to do, in this case not sitting on the bed of the homeowner. What a rude example, as a homeowner personally I would not allow them to show my house again.

@@anniehovsepian6173 I thought it was just me that was bothered about these kinds of things as I've lived in Japan for 30 years and a Japanese person wouldn't even feel it was acceptable to sit on someone else's chair while looking around a stranger's house. In another episode a toddler with outdoor shoes on was put down on a bed which had a white quilt cover and the episode with the gay couple, in Manchester, I think it was, saw them all sitting on the kitchen counter in one flat, with one of the guys actually putting his shoe flat on the counter! In Leeds, Kirstie seemed to be grinding her stiletto into the flooring. Who wears stilettos to view a house? I've been in the land of courteous consideration for too long, I think. 🥺

why do agents always want to haggle? they are being advised to offer less than an already lowered price, with other people scheduled to view it. why risk losing a house over a couple thousand pounds that you DO have?!

I remember watching this one. I'd just moved to Leeds when this came out (still here) and loved Location as I was just starting on the whole property thing (renting then). Obviously found this one interesting. Then a couple of months later I went to see my mate at work at Anne (the woman in this one) walked out. She worked at the same place. Very nostalgic for 2000s Leeds. Shame it didn't finish but I think they got one, I think Chappel A which probably made them some £££ although Chapel A is a label giving to lots of homes that aren't really in Chapel A.

Courtesy in common sense when posting a video show the full video including the ending, as viewers we would like to know which house they chose and also were able to obtain. Not just cut it off the ending which is purely rude.
