  • Tampa Florida is CHANGING! The question is... Will these changes be better or worse for our city? People are moving to Tampa Florida in groves, attracted to the city's newest developments, jobs and lifestyle. With the new influx of residents, we experience problems such as traffic, transportation concerns, and now the cost of living in Tampa is rising. Only time will tell how Tampa handles the growth, but for now I am joined by Tampa's Mayor to discuss the popular topics at hand.
    If you are thinking of moving to Tampa Florida and want to discuss neighborhoods, new home options or when might be the right time for you to buy a home, reach out to my team and we would be glad to help!

    Thanks Adam good content and conversation about all the different types of areas/ cities in Tampa see you soon. Like I’ve always said coming from and living in Daytona Beach all my life pretty much I think I can say I’ve found my new home and will not regret that I made the right choice to say Tampa is definitely a great place to live in.

    Such conversations are very important. It would help more if we can have a bullet point summary of the entire conversation.

    Streetcar expansion is definitely helpful. But they need to get it to the other side of the river. Particularly, to walkable areas like hyde park would be great. All that talk about transportation was interesting and making areas more walkable and connecting those walkable areas would be huge. Also, did I hear light rail when discussing howard frankland bridge? Would be a good start to a light rail network.

      Yes she mentioned some sort of transportation over the bridges as well. Also to and from the airport which is thought was interesting.

    I think I'm going to need people to start saying what their definition of "affordability" is. Because "affordable" doesn't mean the same thing to everyone. However, my goal is to still move to the Tampa surrounding area. As soon as I'm able to have a reasonable chance to do, and be able to provide a decent lifestyle on my own income.

    Hey Adam, Great video. Been watching you for a couple years now. I’m an active duty military member stationed in Germany from FL. We just closed on David Weekly home this last December in Pasco and excited for the next chapter. It was great listening to the Mayor talk about the future plans! By the way great to hear that Brightline is finally making their way to Tampa. Do you know when is that project is forecasted for? Also curious about the restaurant…was it Front Porch? Would like to visit one day. Take care and Best of luck!! - Axel

      Congrats on your home and yes the restaurant was rhetorical front porch in seminole heights. Its a simple local joint buy great people! Brightline is tentative i believe’26-‘27?

    Beautiful *Video ❤️ I think the pandemic has taught people the importance of multiple sources of income, unfortunately having a job does not guarantee financial security. I really appreciate the transparency and giving people a fighting chance during these difficult times.

    Job opportunity will be available to me in the coming month. Currently living in Las Vegas and will need to sell our home. Manager of new job says we could live anywhere in Tampa. Any information is appreciated.

    I've been wondering if there was any plans to build on all of the parking lots in the N Downtown district. I was hoping to hear something regarding that.

      We had limited time so I was trying to get in as many questions and topics as I could. I’ll do my best to get some of those answers for you in the near future.

    Not sure if you have done a video on the subject of property taxes, I’m looking to move to Florida and I’m considering Tampa very much. Is the any property tax breaks for veterans? With 100% VA rating?

    • @TampaFloridaLiving
      @TampaFloridaLiving  7 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I can absolutely include it. The biggest va break to my knowledge is when you are 100% disability with the VA, you dont have to pay property taxes.
