I don't think so. The rear view mirror power is only on when the electrics are on. I think the 24-hour parking situation you would need to have a direct line to the battery
I use an old AUKEY dash cam that they don't make anymore. I'm not even sure if AUKEY is even an company anymore. It was $70 and I got it on sale for $40. I just used the mount that came with it. I have it right next to the GoPro mount but I never use the GoPro mount.
@RevN3 I belive there is some sort of sensor there that functions with the Toyota Safety Sense. I want to say thats the lane departure sensor. But good to know you don't ha e any issues
I have an Aukey. I have two of them actually. I'm quite happy with it. The video is good enough for me to use in my other videos. They go on sale all the time for like $45. For that price you really can't go wrong: smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B072FGL63X
@@RevN3 thanks for getting back to me. I think I’ve got too much draw. I recently upgraded to a 3 camera system. I’ll probably just hardwire it to be safe.
OH MY GOD. Thank you so much.
I still say every vehicle should have this built in. but.
this is the next best thing.
Thank you so much.
Cool device. And...totally agree with you comment that there are never enough USB plugs !
Is the 2019 Tacoma a 12 pin plug in ? I just saw the Amazon link , yes it is , thanks.
Will the 24 hour park monitor work with this adapter?

What kind of dash cam do you have? How did you mount it, with the existing GoPro mount?

Any issue with TSS bro?
Not sure what TSS stands for but I haven't had any issues at all in the two years I've run this setup.

@@yezkaholic Ah, mine is a 2017 and came out before that was a standard feature. I am safety free!
What dash cam do you have? Do you like it?

@@RevN3 Thank you!
@@RevN3 Could I grab the footage for my channel? Love that wide angle lens from the trucks perspective. Would love to use that for some videos!
@@cementtacocalifornia5638 Well, I'm kinda using it for my channel.
Have you noticed the dongle getting really hot? Mine does
I have not noticed that but I haven't really kept an eye on it. I'm going on a pretty long trip tomorrow. I'll keep an eye on it.
Yeah, I'm not noticing any heat coming from it. Maybe it has to do with how much draw the dashcam uses? Or maybe you got a flakey one?

Very good one...thanks for sharing..new follower here
Thanks man! Honestly, I just threw this video together. Not one of my best.
