When I was 18, I bought tickets for my now ex-wife, and mother of my eldest son, to see her favorite band, Skid Row, in about 1991, at the old Greenville Memorial Auditorium. I'd never heard or seen anything like Pantera. Imagine that. They melted people's faces. That was the first time witnessing a mosh pit. People were getting backwards body slammed, and getting carried out for split heads. We were there to see a hair band, lol. That was Pantera's first U.S. tour. They played almost the whole Cowboys from Hell album, and about half of their upcoming 2nd album, Vulgar Display of Power. I was in the right place, at the right time.
Vinnie Paul (Drummer) & Darrel “Dime Bag Darrel” Paul (Guitarist) created Pantera, Rex Brown Bassist, & Phil Anselmo became their singer. Rex sings the back up vocals and really doesn’t get a lot of credit for his good voice. They always killed it every show. Dime Bag was shot by a crazed fan at a show and Vinnie passed away a few years ago, may they RIP.
Dimebag Darrell is forever the Metal Guitarist GOAT imo and Vinnie Paul his brother also the GOAT Metal drummer imo.. Today is Dime's Birthday RIP my brother he would have been 54 today, it's been 16 yrs since he was assassinated

You seem to appreciate live music and instruments in general, so this is a must see. definitely one of the greatest performances ever. 2.Lynyrd Skynyrd - Free Bird 3.Lynyrd Skynyrd - That Smell I'm a guitar player and as one you cannot just not like this, lol And because you like drums so much i would suggest another metal song... 4.Machine Head - Locust They have a great drummer, pretty sure you're gonna like it. I'm sure you receive a lot of requests, so I wouldn't mind if you can't do any of those, but I would still suggest to watch them, even if it's only for yourself. Check out the band Type O negative.....they toured with Pantera in the mid 90s....not around anymore, due to the death of their main songwriter....but very original "Black Sabbath meets Beatles" type band, with a lot of raw emotion

Little tid bit... Phil Anselmo teamed up with Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath) and did a song called "Time is Mine"... love this song... definitely a cross between Black Sabbath and Pantera

When I was 18, I bought tickets for my now ex-wife, and mother of my eldest son, to see her favorite band, Skid Row, in about 1991, at the old Greenville Memorial Auditorium. I'd never heard or seen anything like Pantera. Imagine that. They melted people's faces. That was the first time witnessing a mosh pit. People were getting backwards body slammed, and getting carried out for split heads. We were there to see a hair band, lol. That was Pantera's first U.S. tour. They played almost the whole Cowboys from Hell album, and about half of their upcoming 2nd album, Vulgar Display of Power. I was in the right place, at the right time.
Vinnie Paul (Drummer) & Darrel “Dime Bag Darrel” Paul (Guitarist) created Pantera, Rex Brown Bassist, & Phil Anselmo became their singer. Rex sings the back up vocals and really doesn’t get a lot of credit for his good voice. They always killed it every show. Dime Bag was shot by a crazed fan at a show and Vinnie passed away a few years ago, may they RIP.
Dimebag Darrell is forever the Metal Guitarist GOAT imo and Vinnie Paul his brother also the GOAT Metal drummer imo.. Today is Dime's Birthday RIP my brother he would have been 54 today, it's been 16 yrs since he was assassinated

Not sure, if I would agree on everything with you, if I met you in person, well probably not. But you seem to be a very honest and authentic guy, that's all thath counts for me and something that I appreciate in every human being. So thanks for that.
You haven't reacted to a l lot of the real oldschool stuff, so I would suggest a few, if you don't mind.
1.Pink Floyd - Comfortably numb live at the pulse concert 1994. I know, you reacted to the song, but this live performance is really something else. You seem to appreciate live music and instruments in general, so this is a must see. definitely one of the greatest performances ever.

Check out the band Type O negative.....they toured with Pantera in the mid 90s....not around anymore, due to the death of their main songwriter....but very original "Black Sabbath meets Beatles" type band, with a lot of raw emotion

Phil Anselmo will be turning in his grave at the constant pausing of this reaction video. Seen many reaction videos but jeez-louise.....EASE UP on your trigger happy pausing index finger. A classic song completely destroyed by such frequent pausing. Mostly just for the sake of it with little reason or comment each time.
Pantera has a set of home movies, if you haven't seen them, they're great! They were vlogging before it was a thing. CFH!
They toured for about 5 years ( Vinnie, Dimebag, Rex and Phil) before being signed... they were pretty damn seasoned
Vinnie Paul was an excellent drummer. When Dimebag was killed, he played in the band Hell Yeah. Phil Ansalmo was the singer. Other guitarist is Rex Brown.
