Looking good Rich! Those track misters are pretty awesome! We've started doing something like that manually at electrosport. There is now a water sprayer or blower at every marshal spot.. after a race you mist that section of track towards next marshal spot.. then drop the tool. Repeat after every race. Keeps the clay nice and consistent now.
Found your channel. Watched a few vids and subbed immediately. Your content is great man. I love the build vids the most. Keep up the good work. I look forward to the next episode.
Love mine!! Super buggy! I run on carpet but no matter the surface this is a great buggy! Nice video. Good to see someone else crash lol. That track is great too, looks like they mist it for moisture?
Nice! yeah, OCRC installed misters probably 7-8 years ago to keep the clay moist and traction consistent. It's nice because there's minimal time where you can't use the track - they just blow it off a couple times a day with leaf blowers. Some track water hose the track down and you have about 20-30 minutes of non-use....and then the first few out get to plow through the debris
I'm looking forward to getting back to RC racing. The TLR is looking good! I think the box stock setup looks pretty sticky. From the looks of the running there, I might try a bit lighter or smaller battery with the right gearing or less motor to accommodate the run time. The car looks soft on the damping overall, but I think a smaller batt could do the trick. Having the big mah is good but if your not hitting the percent rule, why lug around the weight?
Great info - yes, this was 100% stock built to manual spec. I was running a light weight (lo profile) pack in this running video - the ProTek 3600mah LiHV 120c pack
Now i want 1 🙄. The ole Rc addiction . have yet to venture into racing ... Just got into boats . After stocking up 24 of the best bashers , drifting , boating , learning to fly , now its racing 💀
It's fun, especially when you see how fast and capable these newer rigs are. And if you run at a place like OCRC, that's well groomed and maintained, there's little to no cleaning/breakages
It was okay....I always prefer a 3 diff setup like the Tekno. I drove this one in box stock form and it did well...it just seemed fragile, but it was pretty fast
@@TheRCNetwork your videos are great. Got me back into RC and into some club racing. Have you built any yokomos? The MO 2.0 comes with a one way slipper but offer a diff as an option.
Nice! I've only built 1 Yokomo - one of their drift cars. They do seem like great kits, but after the mass exodus by the pro drivers, they seem to be non-existent now in the US
So, what was that 2 years ago? 😂. Keep trolling on my channel and you'll get blocked.....but till then, feel free to put some content up to provide proof of your expert "toy car" driving skills. 😂
@@murdock6450 8 years on TH-cam and not one video? 🤔 Tracks have been open, and if you're the GURU of driving skills, I'm sure you have at least one car to drive, right? Once again, the keyboard warrior complex is strong with this one....all talk and no go
@@TheRCNetwork yep. Thats nice. I haven't broke my sc6 yet and only broke a ball stud on my sc5 and that's because a friend plowed me. I love associated durability. Second to non!! Buddys 22 4.0 was always broke. Sold it got it a b6.1 great buggy. Keep up the good videos my man
@@jeffbryner5355 This is laughable; the associated B6's are what can't stay together (though they're fast), and the old TLR 4.0 is bullet proof. Your buddy sounds like he couldn't drive.
Houston Anyone?
Yup, you have a problem.
Lmao! I really did too! Hilarious! But more fun than a bag o laughs! I see plenty of myself there!

Houston: 😒
Apollo was like.....
Apollo: I'm given'er aldldlll she's got captinnn!
Looking good man!
Ryan Harris thanks Ryan! I’m not quite a team driver like yourself! TLR did a great job on this buggy though
Same tire setup i put on my Tekno EB410.2. A few days ago and they are hooking up really well.
Tekin the electronics I started with back in the early 80s glad to see someone is keeping them going, DIRT THE ONLY SURFACE FOR RACING
I love Tekin stuff - never had an issue with them

Great driving Rich, that thing is a rocket!

Thanks HM! I appreciate the comments - have a look back on the channel I have over 1,000 videos - and usually put out about 1/week now
Nice driving, that buggy is magic, isn’t it? Tough too! 👍💪👊
Always cool to see you in the comments! Thanks for stopping by!
Thanks for the upload!!!👍👍👍
And thanks for watching!
Been waiting for this video! I have not had a chance to run mine yet because of the indoor track not open yet.
Thanks for your patience! It's a fun little buggy, it feels very light and nimble. But very capable
Nice one man glad it was just a ball cup haha, some sweet driving in there track looks great as well.
Thanks buddy! Yeah, I was worried to look after the crash - but it did quite well

Thanks Garret!
"Dang this thing is tough" like I'm not gonna try and jump my roof with it in the off season
lol! Thanks for watching!
Nice driving skills my friend ;)
Thanks Roger!
Nice run!
Thanks buddy!
Check that misting system out, probably use silicone tires, boy they would squeal, blue Grove it also
OCRC is state of the art!

I think you drive rc better than me. Cool rides thanks for sharing.👊
Thanks for watching, buddy!
I think i saw some Nintendo "RC Pro Am" inspired moves there.
Yes, quite possibly! lol
Was throwing mine in a club race this weekend, but got called off due to a covid outbreak in the area!!!! 🙄🙄🙄🙄
Dang! Covid just screwing things up!
Front end looks a bit bouncy when landing imo... try softer springs maybe... just my observation....
Jeff Leong of course - I always show it 100% stock set up on my videos. Just to show people how it runs out of the box with average driving skills 😃
Thanks Rich 👍🤓🇦🇺
Thanks for watching, Paul!
So what is more fun to drive, this new tlr buggy or the new Tekno truggy?
I love the precision of a buggy vs. the forgiveness of the ET. The 22X-4 seemed so light and nimble though

I’m new to racing. Is it normal for my buggy to bottom out on jumps? Or should it not bottom out?
They will bottom out...and you will have wear....but as you set your shocks up better and get more driving skill, that will minimize
Rich, did you use any tire prep or shave anything off your tires?
Chad Barber just a. Quick light sanding and used Sticky kicks orange before running. Otherwise, brand new
How was it driving with a slipper on the clay track?
It was okay....I always prefer a 3 diff setup like the Tekno. I drove this one in box stock form and it did well...it just seemed fragile, but it was pretty fast

What are the bottles strapped to the blowers?
Not sure what you mean? They have pipe stuck in the ground for the blowers to rest in
@rcnetwork What was your fast lap?
I didn't have a transponder on it - this was just the shakedown - going to add the center diff now
4:38 waaweewawa
Say hello to the misters!
Much better driver than me, but I need to open my box and build my 22x-4.......
Get that thing built!
Is this considered a 13.5?
No, I was running a mod motor in this buggy. 13.5t is for stock class in 4wd buggy
Ooooohh yell DIRT
I prefer outdoor dirt, but this is the next best thing!
Just seemed like your shocks were way too loose, your was the only buggy that you can hear smacking the ground every time lol
I always run the 100% box set up for the 1st run videos.
I have no reason for building something like this, just to drive it on "sterile" clay or carpet circuits...bashing is more fun.
Driving at a place like this will improve your bashing skills 100% - just sayin'
Don’t knock it till you try it.. Took my kraton exb to a track yesterday for the first time and was insanely fun. Wish I had a buggy to mess with.
I used to drive like you... when i was 10
