@@TheRCNetwork right, I haven't had any fail outright, but I have about 3 gallons on them in my NB48 2.0. Question: the motor in my 1/8 scale buggy moves up and down when I land and it’s stripping the threads on the screws, how can I prevent this and what do I use
Strange, I've never had that happen...are you running the braces? Obviously, the more you let the chassis flex, the more it could potentially allow the motor to flew from the mount.
Get good quality motor, though i never had such problem even with chinese turnigy motor. Maybe you rape threads with too much force and jumping just finishes them

They're pretty aggressive...and really over kill. I liked how the truck performed with the race tires. Much better balanced and seemed to be much lighter on it's "feet"
Hey. I got the exact same motor combo as you, on a losi 8ight xte, and i feel like the motor gets alittle hot? The esc barely breaks a sweat. What pinion are you running, and have you adjusted any timing or something?
I'm running a 15t....zero timing - no need on a 1/8th scale running 4s. I'd drop a couple teeth on your pinion and see if that helps....are you sure there's nothing holding the drivetrain up - like a blown bearing, bent suspension/driveshaft/etc? Also, what terrain/wheels tires? That also makes a difference
I'm a huge fan of the Tekno lineup. They just work, no weird gimmicks, un-needed carbon, etc. And they just don't break. I'd pick the Tekno over the TLR any day
Depends on what you're looking for. I always pick the servo on torque first....and most 1/10th scale buggies need about 300oz/in......then I buy down the speed. Meaning for a 300oz/in servo is not a lot of money...until it becomes fast. You'll want 300oz/in and about 0.10 or faster for 1/10th buggy. 0.07-0.08 being ideal. That extra 0.02 seconds will cost some money though. Also, keep in mind, many newer 1/10th scale buggies require lo profile servos. Take a look at the AGFRC A66BHLW - it's a powerhouse
The original badlands 3.8 are a tad small - check my MT410 videos - that's those tires. They're basically the same size as the truggy race tires in this video, but with that aggressive tread

When I land a jump the motor moves down from the force of landing. I use loctite on all the motor screw but it still comes loose
