Changjng my thermostat right now. Formoco part on the driveway, letting the engine cool off a little more. Ho much coolant leaked to the ground when swapping the thermostat out?
Not much bro since i think i clamped it, but fill it up before u run the car, then watch it while warming up the engine add if needed to the line when it is warm. Best of luck it is tricky!
My car temperature rises and when I turn the heat on it drops and stabilizes. Also I have to top off the coolant from time to time . Could this be a bad thermostat ? Or a leak in the system ?
Check your oil dip stick make sure there is no coolant there, if you have muddy looking oil u have a leak internally, but mos def change ur thermo if you haven't done base on factory maintenance.
@@darienbauer cause ford did a diag and they were able to determine is was a leaking coolant reservoir and a bad SEAL on the thermostat housing still didn’t matter ended up with a new bottom block
@@car-lo engine was pfukd from the start found out the motors are only ment to go up to 100k miles cause my new mechanic used to work for ford back when the motors were prototypes, he said they new about ALL THE PROBLEMS and still pushed them into the market
