Thanks for the video. I have been doing them quite a while ago too. I did it in porcelain. I did however put a line pattern on the inside of the filter-holder as this would prevent the filter paper from sticking to the wall and make the coffee run a little easier. We do have these in Germany, but put on top of our coffee pot. Our aunty used to have two coffee pots and while the guests were having one cup each from the first pot, the next lot of coffee would filter into the next pot. Memories from childhood.
Hi!!! Thank you for sharing this. I would like to know what kind of glase do you use for your pieces, and also how many time do you fire your pieces. Again thank you so much.
Thanks for watching. I used a cone 10 glaze developed at Higher Fire Clayspace & Gallery in San Jose. I fire them 2 times - once for bisque &then the final glaze one.
tree cerdas I'm not sure I understand the question. I air dry and leave the plaster molds in to retain shape. When it's firmed up I remove them...cover with plastic for slower drying time

Fantastic demonstration thank you for sharing.
I absolutely love your tutorials. I’m so glad I found you I am learning so much
Very good methodical video. I recently slab made a prototype but picked up some good tips from your video for Prototype No II. Thanks.
Awesome!
Just the cutest handle EVER!!!
Great tutorial as always. Thank you sooo much.
Jamie...your videos are just so inspiring...they are so helpful. Thank you. Hope to see you soon.
Margaret Case thank you!
This is an excellent tutorial. Thank you!
The work is very beautiful ... What kind of colors are used in the work and are they painted using heat ... Thanks
Thank you, I use glazes formulated at our studio. My pieces are dipped abs then fired to 2350 degrees (cone 10).
Exelente video..🤩 mil gracias por compartir tanto conocimiento....
Thank you for this great video!
I would love to make this set! Could you give me the link for the mug? I couldn't find it on your page. I love all your work!! Inspiring.....
Thanks!!! Here you go: th-cam.com/video/fl6xTG5Zi8Q/w-d-xo.html
Do you fire the mug and pour over stacked together in the kiln for shrinkage alignment or would it be too heavy?
No, I fire them apart. I like the rim of my cup to be glazed.

@@jamiemeador2967 Thank you so much!!! justo to make sure, the final fire is at 1652°F ???
@@wilberthmis2117 We go to cone 10 which is close to 2350 F.
Is it possible to get the template for the pour over?
Hi Jamie...nice tutorial. Curious how thick you like the slab? Thank you
Try for a true 1/4. Slab rollers are not so accurate sometimes.
did u find the one whole or three whole version to be a better pour over?
Depends on how quickly you want your coffee. The consensus at my studio was for 1 hole - longer time for the water to be with the coffee.
@@jamiemeador2967 Great! thanks for getting back to me:)
The shaving tool is called a sureform. :-).
Can I bake this in a regular gas oven.if so how long and what temperature. What kind of glaze should I use
No.
Does your slab of clay need to be leather hard before you cut out the clay forms?
No...should only be a little stiff.
where can i find the video from these cups please?

are u used air dry clay ? or plaster of paris ?

I think she’s asking if they need to be fired in a kiln, or use air-dry clay
Es ist schade dass diese Videos keine deutsche Übersetzung haben😩
