    What else you can't accomplish ?
    You're really good in everything.

      Most universities have classes in making pottery, in the arts department. I remember taking the class many decades ago. I liked the old fashioned kick wheel, not an electric powered one. In an empty peaceful pottery room, with the silence and the rhythm of the kickwheel controlled by one's own energy, it was like meditation.

    • @bobbywhite5319
      @bobbywhite5319 7 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Hmm, depends on how deep the bowl will be. If beginners try to make a big salad bowl, you'll be in for a challenge. Start small, but the most challenging part of ceramics is centering. Even after you pat down the clay as round as you can, it will never be centered which is why you need to do that.

When I took ceramics at my school, it was so messy with the glaze and it was difficult getting the stuff out of your nails even when you love working with clay! I would never be able to make something as good as this. I don't have the patience, and there's nowhere in my town that has any kind of kiln.
    Though I did make a small vase jar thing with a flower-shaped lip in art class once. That's about as much as I've done with pottery.
