If you go for polygon, do some research on Digital Asshats on twitter and opensea. if you get one of the first 777 collection, you will be happy in a few years

Have you seen the RMRK team`s project, such as KANARIA? There are NFT birds that can have other attached NFTs (for example - clothes, weapons, hats, glasses, etc). And these NFTs can be put on and taken off by a bird! They can also be sold separately!

Great video, exactly what I was looking for :) 1 question... the example project you gave at the end, the price is still in ETH instead of Matic, is that normal? Is it possible to mint an NFT with Eth on the polygon network?
Hey, thanks so much for watching! The price for Zoniaverse is in "Polygon ETH", not "Ethereum ETH". NFTs are not traded with Matic on OpenSea. To go from Polygon ETH to Ethereum ETH and vice versa, you need to bridge the ETH!
You can tell the difference from the color on OpenSea. Polygon ETH is purple, while Ethereum ETH is grey!

Thank you for this video Aprilynne. Very informative. I'm still not sure which way I will go...Polygon or Ethereum. I love the idea of limiting all of the gas fees but I wouldn't want to use Polygon if many NFT buyers are unwilling to use Polygon. I once heard that Ethereum was working on a project to significanly reduce gas fees, but I don't know when that is coming. Do you?

Hello! Genuinely appreciate your videos💜 I had a few queries:
1. You mentioned (etherum) gas fees when you initialized your account was 60 gwei which is $0.0002? Also when I looked at transactions of other sellers in the past 4mnths I have never came across any high gas fees..they were like 30 to 60 gwei. Am I missing out something?
2. If my nft (polygon) doesn't sell do I have to pay any fees to unlist it or sth? I believe since it's on a fixed price and there's no duration it will never expire and relisting (if required) won't have any fees?
3. To bridge poly to etherum, the gas fee that needs to be paid, can I pay it with the polygon etherum I have or does it have to be in cash?
(If anyone else has any answers/knowledge regarding my questions, please feel free to enlighten me😊)
gwei is normally expressed in ETH, not dollar$ or other fiat currencies..but that is odd because 60 gwei today - about a month after you made the comment I'm replying to - is 0.000153 US dollars...which doesn't make sense as a gas fee incurred for using ETH..hopefully someday🤞but currently, afaik, it's a heck of a lot more expensive than that..which is why so many people are minting on Polygon right now.

Same NFT - no (not to my knowledge)

Hey, when i list my nft at OS, i used my wallet address with ethereum mainnet but the listing is in ETH on polygon, so if someone buys it , i will get the eth to my wallet right or do i have to add anything?

Thank you for the great video!! I have one question left: If I put all my NFTs on OpenSea via the polygon chain and for example on of them is bought by a user. There is a fee of 2.5% That goes to OpenSea and i have to pay it. Is this fee in the normal Ethereum I can buy with inside my metamask or is there something other? I just want to make sure that I dont habe any trouble or problems if I sell an NFT and didn’t have my Metamask setting up correctly.
This fee is just taken from your sales! You don't need anything extra in metamask to pay it

So this means that also when i want to sell NFTs via ethereum chain on opensea I only have to pay a one time fee to get startet (which I need in my metamask to do so) but after that every 2.5 % fee is taken automatically not from my wallet buy from the sold NFT and I get the rest on my wallet🙏🏻
