With steaming tv I haven’t watched ad in years. It felt good to see, what you’ll call my favourite type of ad, a car ad.

Who would have guessed that in 2023, after we all blocked or paid to get rid of ads, we'd be back watching them for nostalgia??
So many of these ads I remember from my childhood, such strong Déjà vu and nostalgia.
I've digitized a few VHS so I know it's a pain, thanks for making this

Yeah but the new ads are shit, these ones are sick but. Galant VR4, Holden VR/VS Acclaim, Magna/V3000 - these aren’t maccas or some vacuum cleaner ad

@@chrispalmer3548 They were shit at the time, bro. No one liked ads in the 90s and 2000s. Like most people, I paused them out of my vhs recordings. They're cool now because of nostalgia.

Even as a kid I realised how cars were styled after aircraft. From the fins of the '50s to the stark lines of the '80s. It's a shame SUV's are everywhere now.

Also, to be fair again, it was a well constructed and capable 4WD vehicle. Basic, but that's everything by modern Ute standards.
