Man this video was first class - videographer was incredible, he asked great questions & ended up providing some awesome insights, as well as great footage! The format with Matt adding his insights & ways to incorporate the workout shown to different levels was cool as well. Loved this one!
Thanks to all Sweat Elite staff for this opportunity to explain our idea of whole staff work based on daily discussion and listening to build a bridge between on field training work, gym field, recovery field, injury reduction risk field. I hope i was useful to exalt the human and technical value of a special guy such as Yeman is. 🎉
Coach Cheromei: "pace is 69 seconds" One of the incredible athletes: "So, 68 or 69" Coach Cheromei: "NO. 68.7, it's okay...69.3, it's okay..." Imagine being so elite that you can time your laps to within 0.3 seconds per 400 meters again and again 🤯🤯🤯
As a physio, we encountered amateur marathon runners with spinal asymmetry especially increasing training load in key sessions or peak mileage. It makes sense to look into the trunk included front of the chest and abdomen and spine to let those tightened muscle recover faster.
Angus you need a raise. I hope Matt is listening. Absolute fire🔥. The new format is long overdue. You guys have something very special here and need to promote the Academy. Between these videos and attending the Trials I’m pumped for Boston!! This channel brings something no other channel can bring. Learning directly from the ELITES 👍🔥💪🏻
Wow so insightful about all that goes into elite training! The level of detail, the preciseness of expectation from each rep, checking lactate, video analysis - great video, thanks!
Sweat elite is the best Channel that I Discovered in my life for all milions of people that love this sport .Matt Fox is a fantastic athlet,I likes very much how he explains training' methods, how to practice in a correct way this sport and also when he talks with the most famous and big athletes of this sport. And Yeman Crippa Is One of the best italian athletes and marathon man.I Hope that will obtain a great result for his career at the Olympic games of Paris 2024 for Him and for Italian country. Alessandro Difonso Borella Comaschi e Marinella Leopardi,Italy
Love Sweat Elite. Not sure why the content hasn't been as consistent. Other creators are using this blueprint now to great success. I hope all is okay with this Sweat Elite crew.
It’s actually very challenging to make this sustainable financially over the long run. Hence why most channels don’t last more than a few months… the travel involved is usually 3-5X the price of the TH-cam ad revenue. Meaning must find sponsors. And that’s very channelling for this style of content if you think about it
I would say that the marathon qualifying times are a bit softer than the 10k. The marathon is 2.08.10 and the 10000m 27 mins !!! Loads of runners have run that sort of time for the marathon but far fewer for the 10k! Only 3 guys ran faster than 27mins last year whereas an amazing 187 athletes ran the marathon qualifying time in 2023! The counter argument to that of course would be that even if you run 27.10 you could be in with a shout first of all of qualifying and even being right up at the sharp end in the race. In the marathon it's even more of a lottery!
Why laughing for a physio from Italy and a coach from Kenya ... i don't understand. Yeman is a Team Italy best athlete and his Head Coach is a clever man that every day stays in touch with coaches all over the world to be tomorrow better than today and italian federation let staff works abroad to give the best assistance to its athlete ... like Australian federation does, Uk does ... so, what it seems like strange?
So we actually really didn't give enough credit to his actual coach from Italy, Massimo Pegoretti , who was also at the track that day (he was on camera briefly at points) but was quietly doing his thing in the background didn't want to feature too much on camera. I think Yeman has been with him over 10 years, right from the beginning I think. So big appreciation and credit to him!!
@@sweatelite absolutely! Massimo grow up Yeman and this guy shows a lot of what Massimo teaches him since he was a child especially in education and good ness

All these running channels and running content on TH-cam but Sweat Elite remains an OG 🐐. 🔥🔥
Yeman halfh marathon PB is 59'26".. he's still 27 ,so he can definitely run a full marathon under 2 h 07'
Love the tweak in the format! Physio insights about Crippa's biomechanics were also top-notch. And Angus never disappoints! Great work all around 👌
Very informative , both Yemane and the physio gave us a good insite into how his team work
Agreed
Absolutely loved this. Great questions. Great insight from physio. Drone shots really appreciated.
Thanks Billy!
Loved the video, tremendous job on it. Would love to see the actual recovery process of professional athletes after these big sessions.
Drinking, eating, taking a shower, massage, sleeping. probably not that interesting to watch 🤷♂️

My left ear loved the intro 😂
That was a bloody good video. Well done 👏
Thank you
Also great to see how you guys give advice about personal implementation. That’s really interesting without being scary 😅
I know Jacob Ingebritsen is kinda silent about his training but a training session with him would break the running world
Absolutely a great idea, he hasn't expressed interest to us though, we have tried
As much as I would love to see him I can’t stand that arrogance
These athletes are something else
Eastern African one beautiful creatures when they run. I LOVE THEM
Have you also filmed with selvarolo, neka crippa, ouhda and the british group?
I never would have guessed Guglielmo was Italian 🇮🇹
Kiplimo next... 🙏🙏🙏
Good idea
Next Ingebrigsten pleaseee
Lets hope!
He is not European btw
Support form India

“69, very nice”
Indeed.
are you going to try and beat jacob ingerbrigtsen in 5000 😁
Yes
Ben Preisner next? He just became the second fastest Canadian marathoner of all time at the weekend, behind Cam Levins.
Great idea
It’s not yeman , correction it’s yemane . My Eritrean fellow runner🇪🇷
