I'm not certain how big the shortage of autorack cars is anymore but I'm pretty certain they'll keep moving the finished Autos to the dealerships. The places that load and unload them are not usually UAW and are operated by separate firms. What you'll see however is any switching inside the plant where the manufacturing is done will most likely be railroad management people because the crews will not cross the picket lines. Then comes the fun part start lining up storage areas to Stage these Auto racks and truck frame cars and older parts Hi Cube cars so they can get back in service relatively quickly. This may really put a dent in the Roadrailer.

The union - which represents 146,000 U.S. auto workers - is asking for 40% pay raises through September 2027 and major improvements in benefits as part of what it calls "audacious" demands. The UAW has outlined plans for a series of strikes targeting individual, undisclosed U.S. auto plants if agreements are not reached by 11:59 pm ET Thursday, rather than a full walkout. The union plans to disclose the initial plants during a 10 p.m. ET event.
It is most likely PSR. Though, NS has liked to run big rack trains for a long time. My biggest pre PSR was 12,500 ft. of empties and one engine. I always love the one engine wonders.

This is how they do. I have been through 2 strikes at GM plants and generally there is not anymore pulls or spots when they do.

I was watching the rail cam where I live and seen a doubled-up auto racks come through town last night.
I seen some long auto racks in Marion Ohio last week but this one was a first for me in Peru.

with the union using words like, "audacious" demands, you know it's not going to end well... sounds like hardball to me

I've seen that a few times going through Peru NS 121 and 120 seem to get one engine and look like they emptied the yard. Lol
