      Jim Lee I am comfortable with Sadhguru because he never takes the stance of being any authority and urges not to believe anything he says. The programs he offers are no nonsense tools to be used and decide for yourself if it is working as a catalyst to enhance your life or not, else discard. It has worked wonders. There are plenty of things that are beyond my grasp and I just let it be. I highly recommend his latest book- Death an inside story.

    • @kernjames
      @kernjames 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@ennigmaa Thank you for your pleasant response and of course your attitude is correct. I don't discard everything the Sadhguru says. I would not watch his videos if I felt that way. His comments are wonderful at times. I am nearly 71 years old, and whether it is a Guru, a Pope, a President or a Dali Lama, I am not easily swayed or impressed by some old guy that claims some authority or Higher knowledge. I find wisdom is everywhere if one looks for it. Sometimes, Children are infinitely wise, beyond their years. Even the critters, the plants, the animals and Mother Earth all have wisdom to give if one is open to it.

      @CAPTAIN PURNA It means you can't go wrong with dying. Death is the final test of life that everyone is destined to pass with an A+ Granted, this is somewhat of an exaggeration because death or the process of death (especially those days and even seconds before you die) can be of tremendous personal growth and development so not everyone does well with that part. But once your body hardens and all of your energies have left your body, there is no risk left for you to take and no failure for you to put yourself through. It's perfectly safe to be dead :)

      maybe this is the reason why each blessing being in India became a divine God oneself. But this is not about just unleashing latent power, it is about knowing yourself breaking out from any pre conceptualization. The mystic trip is about that, first asking yourself "are you what you achieved?", "are you old/young now?". This philosophic like questions are deeper than exploring only using the senses, it is about finding your real essence of existence and flow through it to naturally break out from your limitations.

    Her mother and I read to her in English every night before bed.. And beyond early year 'pre school' alphabet teaching from her mother and I we just taught as we went along in daily life. No special English teaching beyond everyday life. My daughter transferred out of Spanish immersion after the 4th grade. When entering her new English speaking school for 5th grade they tested her English reading skills.. comprehension etc.

Sadhguru once said he just use logic because we can't digest what doesn't fit in our small logic- so to "woo" us he uses logic- then there are things he do beyond verbal communication and pure experiential. Because stories will remain stories whether we believe or disbelieve it won't get us any closer to the truth unless it's in our own experience. SADHGURU has changed our lives in many levels

Jesus taught us not to through pain on others. And he gave commandment to people who were suffering with mental guilt that he will take all the sins from his follower , the reason behind it is to provide solace to his loved once. But now In the name of Jesus you guys knowingly commit crimes so that you can get forgiven by Jesus. What a foolish behavior. They dont know what can hurt and what doesnt hurt.. so when they are put into trainings, their body and mind both are open to any kind of experience as they are truly a blank slate. They can learn languages, they can learn sports, music.. anything without any fear of failure or suffering.. That is the best time for any human being to start learning something..

    I think the difference in understanding him comes from cultural understanding. Most Abrahamic religions or western religions have a very straightforward approach to them, there is a founder, a god, a holy book, certain rites they all must do, and basic tools they all must read or practice. In Indian religions, particularly there isn't anything that is close to being straightforward. The ideas of what hinduism is can differ family to family, forget having a universal understanding in the nation. The stories in Hinduism taught in 1 family might have minor or sometimes major differences in the same story taught in another but the underlying ideas are the same, and that goes with hinduism. A hindu who practices the belief as a yogi, may differ in their tools or spiritual path as a common housewife or a naga sadhu but the end results are what we all strive to achieve, or at least most of us, some sort of salvation whether it is through reincarnation or moksha or through heaven having drinks with our gods. So when you aks a hindu questions about spiritual paths to enlightenment you will never attain a very direct answer. They may tell you their own individual version, but they will very rarely if ever tell you what you need to do, be, believe in etc. For your spiritual awareness and salvation.

    I very much enjoy Sadhguru and I can sense a lot is how I see and believe I live it too. I am sometimes still worried though that it is all a concept as well and the gap between physical and mental suffering can not last or might be an Illusion. When i experience physical pain the gap is not there anymore ... I am really ecperiencing pain and only when i have "control" back over my mind I can feel that the pain is not me ... so which one is true? I have not found a way to experience physical pain and knowing it is not me ... mental pain to me seems a lot easier to distance myself - here I immediately feel it is only emerging in my mind and I can "control" it ... but physical seems to be much deeper connected ... can you point me in the direction to understand this better if you know there is a way...have a great day and greetings from Germany 🌞
