Misleading title. It’s not a debate just a pure decent conversation between two human beings. The rabbi asked sincere questions we all would want to ask to Sadhguru. I enjoy this dialogue so much.
Debate is not a negative word. In your experience, it may be. In my also. It has a social stigma attached to it. But, it doesn't have to be a negative word.
21:58 its an argument if you like it or not. its a healthy argument, an argument nonetheless. and the guru is using a very popular debate tactic called gish gallop

Sadguru never disappoints. His message is universal. The answers to most of our questions are within ourselves, and Sadguru simply empowers one to introspect.
That's such a great experience. The Rabbi is so polite n respectful even when in disagreement. That's what agree to disagree mean. That also with such grace n poise.
When we have full knowledge about everything, or totally ignorant, the discussion go smooth. Otherwise, all participants wants to do is to prove their point. Create more confusion. If you can observe properly, knowledge comes to you.

What has this man taught you to follow? Which philosophy? He teaches that philosophy because it is the best state of being. Tell me philosophy's name. @@kewlbeans9905 Hinduism is not like that you have to follow this that. Actual sanatana Dharma allows people to question and seek answers by urself. It's not like other religions that some person is imposing their beliefs into u. It's a way of life, it teaches to seek answers by urself. For example, it's like solving a problem in your car by urself and sanatana Dharma is like ur workshop manual. Whereas in other religion it's like textbook or tutorial videos to solve the problem in your car. Hope u got my point.
Full respect to the Rabbi. He is such a decent human being even if his beliefs are different. Such a good person. We need people like him to convey peaceful dialect
Brilliant speakers on both sides, properly articulated and easily digested. An example for those who truly seek peace they Must become that peace * Nehru Ghandi *
This self claimed guru also must learn something from this Rubbi. Because he doesnt have the ability to listen others , rather prone to push his ideas. Between both of them Rabbi sounds more humble and intolerant person than arrogant Jaggi Vasudev .
@@Avastidas Rabbi Wolpe has some short but great 15-20 minute sermons on Sinai Temple sermon archives. He has always been pleasant even when faced against Atheists in conversations like IQ squared debates on NPR. Rabbi Wolpe is a leading thinker in the Jewish community. I can say that as Christian hes very enlightening brother.
@@Avastidas He does listen to others, I don't think he was being disrespectful at any point, he was simply trying to point out things to the rabbi that he may or may not have gotten wrong.
Yes I learned to be humble by the Rabbi from Beverly Hills. He is apparently from the "Hood". I love Sadghuru, he was worth the discussion not the Rabbi.
Water never be end... If u loss drinking water u can bring water from sea.. U can do it neat & clean it's costly but that time it won't.. For ex. When mobiles came then their cost were very high... Now see good quality mobiles with not much money so water never be end
Back in the day before we came up with filtered water everyone was drinking beers wine and ciders instead because it was safer, even the kids. The debate of whats natural or not imo doesn't even matter anymore. Sadghuru seems to think there was some sort of dystopia back in the day. Humans have always struggled especially under "natural" conditions.
So true Mt. Morales. Can you imagine how different the civilians in this USA would feel if they had two candidates like these two wise, polished and generous of spirit as these leaders? I can dream of such a time when we have to choose between wise wonderful beings rather than the greedy fools who currently attempt to divide and deceive us.
Maybe I'm alone on this, but Sadhguru has a way of rarely actually directly answering the question made by the Rabbi. When asked a challenging question, he immediately goes to storytelling-but the story, while impactful, doesn't actually address the question being asked.
Jiddu Krishnamurti was against organized religions (Jews) , and so is Sadhguru , Sadhguru is a fan of Jiddu . Still fan of Sadhguru now ? Judaism is poison , also Islam etcetera !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Actually this is what debating looks like. What we see in media is discrediting others, who can blame others more, and a whole lot of what abouts and hypotheticals.
Why most of sadhgurus speech go over my head and i dont truly understand what he is saying.it feels like he is giving philosophical speech which is good to hear but doesnt co relate with our every day life. Is it only me who is very dumb to understand him or are there people like me???

@@garbage2640 I would have felt the same way if I saw this 10 years ago. The implications are profound. You say he is giving a philosophical speech as if it’s a bad thing. Philosophy is the love of knowledge. One must acknowledge and appreciate a society that creates a personality like Rabbi... He reflects the values upon which he was brought up... Great discussion...
Description of Wisdom 12 Wisdom is radiant and unfading, and she is easily discerned by those who love her and is found by those who seek her. 13 She hastens to make herself known to those who desire her. 14 One who rises early to seek her will have no difficulty, for she will be found sitting at the gate. 15 To fix one’s thought on her is perfect understanding, and one who is vigilant on her account will soon be free from care, 16 because she goes about seeking those worthy of her, and she graciously appears to them in their paths and meets them in every thought. 17 The beginning of wisdom[a] is the most sincere desire for instruction, 18 and concern for instruction is love of her, and love of her is the keeping of her laws, and giving heed to her laws is assurance of immortality, 19 and immortality brings one near to God, 20 so the desire for wisdom leads to a kingdom. 21 Therefore if you delight in thrones and scepters, O monarchs over the peoples, honor wisdom, so that you may reign forever. 22 I will tell you what wisdom is and how she came to be, and I will hide no secrets from you, but I will trace her course from the beginning of creation and make knowledge of her clear, and I will not pass by the truth, 23 nor will I travel in the company of sickly envy, for envy[b] does not associate with wisdom. 24 The multitude of the wise is the salvation of the world, and a sensible king is the stability of any people. 25 Therefore be instructed by my words, and you will profit.Passage Resources Hebrew/Greek Your Content Wisdom of Solomon 7 New Revised Standard Version Updated Edition The King Is Like Other Mortals 7 I also am mortal like everyone else, a descendant of the first-formed child of earth, and in the womb of a mother I was molded into flesh, 2 within the period of ten months, compacted with blood, from the seed of a man and the pleasure of marriage. 3 And when I was born, I began to breathe the common air and fell upon the kindred earth; my first sound was a cry, as is true of all. 4 I was nursed with care in swaddling cloths. 5 For no king has had a different beginning of existence; 6 there is for all one entrance into life and one way out. Wisdom Indispensable to Rulers 9 Therefore I determined to take her to live with me, knowing that she would give me good counsel and encouragement in cares and grief. 10 Because of her I shall have glory among the multitudes and honor in the presence of the elders, though I am young. 11 I shall be found keen in judgment, and in the sight of rulers I shall be admired. 12 When I am silent they will wait for me, and when I speak they will give heed; if I speak at greater length, they will put their hands on their mouths. 13 Because of her I shall have immortality and leave an everlasting remembrance to those who come after me. 14 I shall govern peoples, and nations will be subject to me; 15 dread monarchs will be afraid of me when they hear of me; among the people I shall show myself capable and courageous in war. 16 When I enter my house, I shall find rest with her, for companionship with her has no bitterness, and life with her has no pain but gladness and joy. 17 When I considered these things inwardly and pondered in my heart that in kinship with wisdom there is immortality, 18 and in friendship with her, pure delight, and in the labors of her hands, unfailing wealth, and in the experience of her company, understanding, and renown in sharing her words, I went about seeking how to get her for myself. 19 As a child I was naturally gifted, and a good soul fell to my lot, 20 or rather, being good, I entered an undefiled body. 21 But I perceived that I would not possess wisdom unless God gave her to me- and it was a mark of insight to know whose gift she was- so I appealed to the Lord and implored him, and with my whole heart I said,

@Magno Avatar India's 80 percent population is Hindu - world's largest democracy, did not see the MOST intelligent, open, peaceful, accepting, and supporting diversity religion of Hinduism fit to make India a Hindu state but chose Secularism. To an outsider secularism is better than Hinduism then. Why else would you choose secularism? Hole in the logic. Major hole. Is Secularism more peaceful than Hinduism? Is Secularism more intelligent than Hinduism? Is Secularism deeper ocean than enlightenment, universalism and wisdom? If answer is no to ALL as it should be does it not raise one's eye brows to contradictions and anomalies of India? I have not even begun to paint the extremism, ultra nationalism and fanaticism that is prevalent and practiced and causes communal violence that is instigated in India in the name of Hinduism.
There was nothing close to enlightenment, more like a brain wash. Enlightenment is when your inner world changes, your perception, when you surrender yourself to the spirit and you become one with your spirit, when you see the world through the eyes of the spirit. When you reach that state you can feel the energy and spiritual people, you hear your spirit guiding you. That is true enlightenment and if you reach that state then you will know less words is the better and more accurate to what it is as it cannot be explained through words, it will always be incorrect.

In this video, Sadhguru was asking someone "Do you believe in God", and he was encouraging people to not to believe anything unless you see it. Brother you are really from Pakistan? Very interesting that Muslims are also following Sadguru and appreciate what he speaks which is applicable universally irrespective of our belief systems. Brother I truly want to say one thing, even in Quran also you should really understand the context. You need experts to explain the so called today's world controveraial verses in Quran. How arabians were 1400 years ago when Muhammad gave message to just follow blindly one book strictly. May be people were fully nomadic.. Barbaric.. But today's world is different. Pls kindly try to reform few verses in Quran like, no other God except Allah.. Calling others Kafir.. Non believers..apostate punishment .. People who want to renounce islam is individual choice.. Allah is all powerful, he can take care of them, but we should not give fatwas to kill in the name of Islam. This is my humble request to who ever gives such Fatwas. Please provide exit policy also..like if they don't want to believe in Allah, whether people are eligible to live or not. Pls talk more on this
These 2 men have a great sense of humor. So refreshing. The mutual respect they have for each other is wonderful and it is a good example for all of us.
In this video, Sadhguru was asking someone "Do you believe in God", and he was encouraging people to not to believe anything unless you see it. @@matsyadevidasi what do you gain when you spamming this? If we take this subject into 'religion' you are clearly the one who wants to push your god to other people. Do you think people will acknowledge you by doing this? Some maybe but for me, no. It gives me the vibe that you are just annoying. What you believe is the truth about your god, keep that in you. I will keep my God in me too because I also believe that my God helps me throughout my life. So please. Give yourself a peace of mind.
Amazing! The Rabbi and Sadhguru made together a good event for enlightenment. The world is changing for better. I can see in Brazil, for example: technology made people more free to access source of knowledge and to destroy the monopoly from old Media and the political establishment , which once ruled all the country. A new Era is coming. Let’s make it more speedy with Sadhguru thoughts.
What are his thoughts..he never answer directly to even simple questions..he said never teach anyone about anything..what is he doing creating his foundations all over the world..
I am sure, 10 years later, he will be behind the bars like RAM RAHIM in 420 case also in rape case as well. Mark my words. And people like you, will cry and say "ye hamare pita hain, aur hamare pita ky ooper anch bhi nahi anne dygay" Anbakht..

I appreciate the Rabbi heard him out each time, even if the answer appeared to be a little far-fetched. Patience is rare these days. Many modern interviewers just ask questions in order to make their point, camouflaging their own statements as qestions, for the purpose of getting confirmation. Yet the Rabbi really exploorded the mind and wisdom of his conversation partner. Much to the benefit of the audience.

The Guru seems to be concerned with people knowing the absolute truth and knowing they have control of these truths rather than allowing emotions to run you.. I agree.
those were not the last lines. and you misunderstand light, in this case. light only reveals what is close to you. light obscures the stars...the whole of the universe. light is selective. what the guru said was that his partner onstage had seen the light and it blinded him....to which there was no response.

Respect for Wisdom 7 Therefore I prayed, and understanding was given me; I called on God, and the spirit of wisdom came to me. 8 I preferred her to scepters and thrones, and I accounted wealth as nothing in comparison with her. 9 Neither did I liken to her any priceless gem, because all gold is but a little sand in her sight, and silver will be accounted as clay before her. 10 I loved her more than health and beauty, and I chose to have her rather than light because her radiance never ceases. 11 All good things came to me along with her, and in her hands uncounted wealth. 12 I rejoiced in them all because wisdom leads them, but I did not know that she was their mother. 13 I learned without guile, and I impart without grudging; I do not hide her wealth, 14 for it is an unfailing treasure for mortals; those who get it obtain friendship with God, commended for the gifts that come from instruction. Prayer for Wisdom 15 May God grant me to speak with judgment and to have thoughts worthy of what I have received, for he is the guide even of wisdom and the corrector of the wise. 16 For both we and our words are in his hand, as are all understanding and skill in crafts. 17 For it is he who gave me unerring knowledge of what exists, to know the structure of the world and the activity of the elements, 18 the beginning and end and middle of times, the alternations of the solstices and the changes of the seasons, 19 the cycles of the year and the constellations of the stars, 20 the natures of animals and the tempers of wild animals, the powers of spirits[a] and the thoughts of human beings, the varieties of plants and the virtues of roots; 21 I learned both what is secret and what is manifest, 22 for wisdom, the fashioner of all things, taught me. The Nature of Wisdom There is in her a spirit that is intelligent, holy, unique, manifold, subtle, agile, clear, unpolluted, distinct, invulnerable, loving the good, keen, 23 irresistible, beneficent, humane, steadfast, sure, free from anxiety, all-powerful, overseeing all, and penetrating through all spirits that are intelligent, pure, and altogether subtle. 24 For wisdom is more mobile than any motion; because of her pureness she pervades and penetrates all things. 25 For she is a breath of the power of God and a pure emanation of the glory of the Almighty; therefore nothing defiled gains entrance into her. 26 For she is a reflection of eternal light, a spotless mirror of the working of God, and an image of his goodness. 27 Although she is but one, she can do all things, and while remaining in herself, she renews all things; in every generation she passes into holy souls and makes them friends of God and prophets, 28 for God loves nothing so much as the person who lives with wisdom. 29 She is more beautiful than the sun and excels every constellation of the stars. Compared with the light she is found to be more radiant, 30 for it is succeeded by the night, but against wisdom evil does not prevail.Wisdom of Solomon 8 New Revised Standard Version Updated Edition 8 She reaches mightily from one end of the earth to the other, and she orders all things well. Its beautiful to see Sadhguru has so much patience and kindness to keep explaining such instrinsicly basic things over and over, and yet people still don't understand. Its like their so called knowledge weighs down their basic life intelligence, soon people will even forget how to eat food without seeing a youtube tutorial. Sadhguru is truly a gem, the world needs more enlightened beings..
Mr. Sandhguru is such a wise man that understands the universe, where he explains everything in simple ways were things make sense but some people still can not understand how simple it is then they get confused with their thoughts and beliefs. I can say Mr. Sandhguru has saved me at a dark time in my life. I love you Mr. Sandhguru lots of love.
Mr Sadguru? A Sadguru, is a Guru. You do not prefix it with any such salutation. In Indian tradition a Sadguru is defined as a True Guru who is made by this creation for you. And as per this tradition it is said that when you reach that stage of “evolvement”, he comes in search of you to nudge you in the right path. It is left for you to figure out if he truly is a Sadguru or not.
Mortal men at best are men. Who eventually will die. Hence pls don’t place your trust in mortal men. Find the one who is immortal and faithful even when we are unfaithful .

In this video, Sadhguru was asking someone "Do you believe in God", and he was encouraging people to not to believe anything unless you see it. There are so many things we can't have empirical experience, but they are there. Because humans have 4 defects. There is Supreme personality of Godhead/Krishna who has created the whole creation and so merciful divine father for all of us. If I have never seen my father, can anyone say, that I came out of nothing. He is the biggest fool or rascal number one. I can make a beautiful cake and if I put a little bit of sand, can anyone eat it. That's how Sadhguru's teachings. When it comes to Medical doctors and Spiritual teachers, they have to be 100% genuine. Otherwise they shouldn't preach. Hope now you understand. @@matsyadevidasi i agree with you, I am a gnostic Christian. It is important to me to acknowledge the Supreme being that we are all drawn to and that is inside of us. Without these notions, it is hard to understand things like Matrix control system, presence of angels and demons, and even the presence of ill willed extraterrestrials and good willed extraterrestrials. Not everything is mysticism, not everything is only inside of us. Let's say I suddenly get horrible violent thoughts. Chances are there is some outside influence and I have to deal with it and "fight" it. Psychic attacks, possessions do happen. Not long ago, I got rid of an entity during one of my cultivation methods. These things should be known and acknowledged. If you simply ignore something, it does not mean it will avoid you.

Best debates ever I heard so far ...was laughing so hard when the rabbi told sadhguru just say yes as he is working here...The rabbi is so cool and compose! And kudos to Sadguru of knowing how to answer to the rabbi's question without getting defensive or angry. Instead he even made the whole audience laugh including the rabbi! This is something I'm learning how to do it as well cos I'll get quite defensive whenever ppl doesn't agree on what i have to say.. but Sadguru inspired me to change that and ....Thats the whole reason I decided to take up his online inner engineering program ...Highly recommended BTW!
This is the core principle of debating, keep calm and use humour for defence. Even I m working on it n lemme assure u it works. The moment u lose ur chill,ppl will stop believing u because no bird sits on a burning tree.
Well, we become defensive or angry when someone disagrees because of our ego...a child will never become angry if we disagree..because he lacks the ego of knowledge.

One who doesnt believe vedas are called Demonic, the Supreme personality of Godhead/Krishna says, as per the Ancient Vedic scripture Bhagavad Gita As It Is, in Chapter 16. Sadhguru doesn't believe in Vadas. He talks according to his own whim. Everyone gets Guru according to their own desire ...
He knows a lot. He looks intelligent because Jewish Rabbi didn't know anything about the basic knowledge that Indian ancient oldest Vedic Scripture Bhagavad Gita taught us about "We are not the body and we are the spirit soul". Once we know this, the next steps are applying and realizing it. (How, please see the the information given at the bottom of this message.) We have subtle body and gross body. Subtle body includes mind, intelligence and false ego and the gross body is made of 5 elements, such as air, water, either, fire and earth. When you are sick, would you go to an innovative Medical doctor who learnt on his own or who learnt from an authoritative college, university, etc,? Doctor is for physical ailments and Spiritual is for keeping the Consciousness at the right path/direction. In the world, there are so many educated people are there. Do they really have the absolute knowledge. The answer is No. Similarly SadhGuru also knows a lot. Has he got the absolute knowledge. The answer is No. He doesn't follow Vedas. The Absolute knowledge can’t come from any ordinary or extra ordinary human. It can only come from the Supreme Personality of Godhead/Krishna (Supernatural) who has all 6 opulence such as wealth, strength, knowledge, fame, beauty and renunciation in full. Like Medicine, the Spiritual knowledge is also coming from Disciplic succession from the Lord through Bhagavad Gita which had been spoken long long ago and which was repeated again 5000 years ago. "Bhagavad Gita As It Is" can be accessed on vedabase.com and can be learnt by the help of authoritative teachers who are available at International Society of Krishna Consciousness - ISKCON. Hope this helps people who are interested in Spirituality/Self-realization through Absolute knowledge.Thanks for reading it! Listening to Sadhguru is always a pleasant experience and it turns out to be so heavenly experience when he is sitting around to an intelligent host. Sadhguru loves that someone should throw mature questions. great talk
When he dies he will merge with god in the spiritual world so he'll never come back to this materialistic world , value him when he his here before your eyes then only u can remember his sayings
Sadh is supposed to guide you towards a state of mind where you will not need anyone else to teach you anything or tell you how or when to react. Instead, You would be able to make decisions on your own. So you dont need to see towards Sadh once you learn that thing from him.
Try to ask answer of your question from inner you and validate it with outer world. If that answer work out for all similar question, You are on correct path/answer. If sadhguru added this much intelligencce/knowledge in your life, then try to think how much knowledge you didn't got yet. So be self dependent and thanks to nature that it created a being that opened your eyes or made you think at different perspective. Be thankful. Take care.

The reason why Sadhguru spends so much time explaining and trying to make the external world understand is because he realizes most people live in their state of external existence and does not understand how to detach from it. So he is trying to teach people at the state they are in. 🙏🏾

Description of Wisdom
12 Wisdom is radiant and unfading,
and she is easily discerned by those who love her
and is found by those who seek her.
13 She hastens to make herself known to those who desire her.
14 One who rises early to seek her will have no difficulty,
for she will be found sitting at the gate.
15 To fix one’s thought on her is perfect understanding,
and one who is vigilant on her account will soon be free from care,
16 because she goes about seeking those worthy of her,
and she graciously appears to them in their paths
and meets them in every thought.
17 The beginning of wisdom[a] is the most sincere desire for instruction,
18 and concern for instruction is love of her,
and love of her is the keeping of her laws,
and giving heed to her laws is assurance of immortality,
19 and immortality brings one near to God,
20 so the desire for wisdom leads to a kingdom.
21 Therefore if you delight in thrones and scepters, O monarchs over the peoples,
honor wisdom, so that you may reign forever.
22 I will tell you what wisdom is and how she came to be,
and I will hide no secrets from you,
but I will trace her course from the beginning of creation
and make knowledge of her clear,
and I will not pass by the truth,
23 nor will I travel in the company of sickly envy,
for envy[b] does not associate with wisdom.
24 The multitude of the wise is the salvation of the world,
and a sensible king is the stability of any people.
25 Therefore be instructed by my words, and you will profit.Passage

Wisdom of Solomon 7
New Revised Standard Version Updated Edition
The King Is Like Other Mortals
7 I also am mortal like everyone else,
a descendant of the first-formed child of earth,
and in the womb of a mother I was molded into flesh,
2 within the period of ten months, compacted with blood,
from the seed of a man and the pleasure of marriage.
3 And when I was born, I began to breathe the common air
and fell upon the kindred earth;
my first sound was a cry, as is true of all.
4 I was nursed with care in swaddling cloths.
5 For no king has had a different beginning of existence;
6 there is for all one entrance into life and one way out.
Respect for Wisdom
7 Therefore I prayed, and understanding was given me;
I called on God, and the spirit of wisdom came to me.
8 I preferred her to scepters and thrones,
and I accounted wealth as nothing in comparison with her.
9 Neither did I liken to her any priceless gem,
because all gold is but a little sand in her sight,
and silver will be accounted as clay before her.
10 I loved her more than health and beauty,
and I chose to have her rather than light
because her radiance never ceases.
11 All good things came to me along with her,
and in her hands uncounted wealth.
12 I rejoiced in them all because wisdom leads them,
but I did not know that she was their mother.
13 I learned without guile, and I impart without grudging;
I do not hide her wealth,
14 for it is an unfailing treasure for mortals;
those who get it obtain friendship with God,
commended for the gifts that come from instruction.
Prayer for Wisdom
15 May God grant me to speak with judgment
and to have thoughts worthy of what I have received,
for he is the guide even of wisdom
and the corrector of the wise.
16 For both we and our words are in his hand,
as are all understanding and skill in crafts.
17 For it is he who gave me unerring knowledge of what exists,
to know the structure of the world and the activity of the elements,
18 the beginning and end and middle of times,
the alternations of the solstices and the changes of the seasons,
19 the cycles of the year and the constellations of the stars,
20 the natures of animals and the tempers of wild animals,
the powers of spirits[a] and the thoughts of human beings,
the varieties of plants and the virtues of roots;
21 I learned both what is secret and what is manifest,
22 for wisdom, the fashioner of all things, taught me.
The Nature of Wisdom
There is in her a spirit that is intelligent, holy,
unique, manifold, subtle,
agile, clear, unpolluted,
distinct, invulnerable, loving the good, keen,
23 irresistible, beneficent, humane,
steadfast, sure, free from anxiety,
all-powerful, overseeing all,
and penetrating through all spirits
that are intelligent, pure, and altogether subtle.
24 For wisdom is more mobile than any motion;
because of her pureness she pervades and penetrates all things.
25 For she is a breath of the power of God
and a pure emanation of the glory of the Almighty;
therefore nothing defiled gains entrance into her.
26 For she is a reflection of eternal light,
a spotless mirror of the working of God,
and an image of his goodness.
27 Although she is but one, she can do all things,
and while remaining in herself, she renews all things;
in every generation she passes into holy souls
and makes them friends of God and prophets,
28 for God loves nothing so much as the person who lives with wisdom.
29 She is more beautiful than the sun
and excels every constellation of the stars.
Compared with the light she is found to be more radiant,
30 for it is succeeded by the night,
but against wisdom evil does not prevail.Wisdom of Solomon 8

Is Secularism more intelligent than Hinduism? Is Secularism deeper ocean than enlightenment, universalism and wisdom? If answer is no to ALL as it should be does it not raise one's eye brows to contradictions and anomalies of India?

Well said!

I ant help but feel Bliss and Appreciation for Sadhguru, his words are a gateway that opens something within me I cannot explain. Thank you Baba Sadhguru 🙏🏿
Wow, that was brilliant by Sadguru. The Rabbi was at a disadvantage, the difference between book learning, traditions and actual gnostic (Knowledge) way of life
I feel it takes you back home to your original being. All the things that bring concern in our lives just disappear. Such a beautiful feeling✌️
In all of sadguru interviews this Rabbi asked the best questions and understood what Sadguru said immediately.
I was going to do the same comment 👍
You do have to give it to the Rabbi he not only remembers Sadh's points but formulates questions while still processing more info, it's called active listening, but essentially what you have is fluidity meeting rigidity I don't follow Saddhguru but I still like to observe presentation and see what's going on behind the debate like body language and how to cleverly weave out of trick questions.
I was just going to comment the same thing, and I saw your comment. I have huge regard for Sadhguru. Sadhguru pretty much gave the typical responses, but Rabbi came up with the best counter questions.
a good listener...
but the so called guru never answered a single question of his..... they just want to talk about things they think people will admire
He actually asked some good questions.. but when sadhuru answered them, it’s a whole new level of thinking.
Sanatan Dharma is not a religion built on the foundation of a sword or a lie. It is an age-old tradition that will last forever.
Let's not bring Sanatan darma and other religion along with that, u will need to drop all religious non sense to really capture what he wants to convey
@shiv prasad
U don't have to read all kind of writings, written things are always badly misunderstood.. Sadhguru has never endorsed the way of reading any scriptures.. Sanatan darma could have a great meaning but I don't want to know other than trying to touch my real "Divine" inside me

@@navbharat1 The other guy is right bro... Sanatan Dharma is just a word used for absolute Truth,.
It isn't any religion; politicians, human leaders made it so..
Go inside or outside, if and when your vision is cleared, you will get to know for yourself.
Hinduism is not a religion it way of life which is defined by life experiences of people by thousands of years.Amd you are never forced to follow it it's your own wish to follow or not.
I love when Sadhguru laughs, he does so with his whole body! 🤗
Exactly he has a such joyful laugh
U hv reached that level... Ur observation is to d highest level
Yes, which really illuminates a wisdom because at the end of the day, he understands at the gut level there's really nothing to get all worked up about in this game we call life.
IKR!! It's very endearing!😊❤👳🏽♂️
Actually he cannot show ppl around him he is laughing (cz his facial expressions are masked by beard) so he shakes his body ..this fact was told to me by sadhguru himself
The Rabbi was so humble in his engagement with Sadhguru. He was truly trying to understand Sadhguru's lens and experience which brought out so much wealth in the discussion.
Hinduism, Christianity, Jewism, Sikhism, Buddhism, etc., all created by humans. The eternal religion/Sanatana Dharma is created by the Supreme personality of Godhead/Krishna - if you access vedabase.com you can read, understand and apply in your life and feel the eternal blissfulness with full of knowledge.

and one who is vigilant on her account will soon be free from care,

and she graciously appears to them in their paths

17 The beginning of wisdom[a] is the most sincere desire for instruction,

Wisdom of Solomon 7
New Revised Standard Version Updated Edition
The King Is Like Other Mortals
7 I also am mortal like everyone else,
a descendant of the first-formed child of earth,
and in the womb of a mother I was molded into flesh,
2 within the period of ten months, compacted with blood,
from the seed of a man and the pleasure of marriage.
3 And when I was born, I began to breathe the common air
and fell upon the kindred earth;
my first sound was a cry, as is true of all.
4 I was nursed with care in swaddling cloths.
5 For no king has had a different beginning of existence;
6 there is for all one entrance into life and one way out.
Respect for Wisdom
7 Therefore I prayed, and understanding was given me;
I called on God, and the spirit of wisdom came to me.
13 I learned without guile, and I impart without grudging;
I do not hide her wealth,
14 for it is an unfailing treasure for mortals;
those who get it obtain friendship with God,
commended for the gifts that come from instruction.
Prayer for Wisdom
15 May God grant me to speak with judgment
and to have thoughts worthy of what I have received,
for he is the guide even of wisdom
and the corrector of the wise.
16 For both we and our words are in his hand,
as are all understanding and skill in crafts.
17 For it is he who gave me unerring knowledge of what exists,
to know the structure of the world and the activity of the elements,
18 the beginning and end and middle of times,
the alternations of the solstices and the changes of the seasons,
19 the cycles of the year and the constellations of the stars,
20 the natures of animals and the tempers of wild animals,
the powers of spirits[a] and the thoughts of human beings,
the varieties of plants and the virtues of roots;
21 I learned both what is secret and what is manifest,
22 for wisdom, the fashioner of all things, taught me.
The Nature of Wisdom
There is in her a spirit that is intelligent, holy,
unique, manifold, subtle,
agile, clear, unpolluted,
distinct, invulnerable, loving the good, keen,
23 irresistible, beneficent, humane,
steadfast, sure, free from anxiety,
all-powerful, overseeing all,
and penetrating through all spirits
that are intelligent, pure, and altogether subtle.
24 For wisdom is more mobile than any motion;
because of her pureness she pervades and penetrates all things.
25 For she is a breath of the power of God
and a pure emanation of the glory of the Almighty;
therefore nothing defiled gains entrance into her.
26 For she is a reflection of eternal light,
a spotless mirror of the working of God,
and an image of his goodness.
27 Although she is but one, she can do all things,
and while remaining in herself, she renews all things;
in every generation she passes into holy souls
and makes them friends of God and prophets,
28 for God loves nothing so much as the person who lives with wisdom.
29 She is more beautiful than the sun
and excels every constellation of the stars.
Compared with the light she is found to be more radiant,
30 for it is succeeded by the night,
but against wisdom evil does not prevail.Wisdom of Solomon 8
New Revised Standard Version Updated Edition
8 She reaches mightily from one end of the earth to the other,
and she orders all things well.
Love for Wisdom
2 I loved her and sought her from my youth;
I desired to take her for my bride
and became enamored of her beauty.
3 She glorifies her noble birth by living with God,
and the Lord of all loves her.
4 For she is an initiate in the knowledge of God
and an associate in his works.
5 If riches are a desirable possession in life,
what is richer than wisdom, the active cause of all things?
6 And if understanding is effective,
who more than she is fashioner of what exists?
7 And if anyone loves righteousness,
her labors are virtues,
for she teaches self-control and prudence,
justice and courage;
nothing in life is more profitable for mortals than these.
8 And if anyone longs for wide experience,
she knows the things of old and infers the things to come;
she understands turns of speech and the solutions of riddles;
she has foreknowledge of signs and wonders
and of the outcome of seasons and times.
Wisdom Indispensable to Rulers
9 Therefore I determined to take her to live with me,
knowing that she would give me good counsel
and encouragement in cares and grief.
10 Because of her I shall have glory among the multitudes
and honor in the presence of the elders, though I am young.
11 I shall be found keen in judgment,
and in the sight of rulers I shall be admired.
12 When I am silent they will wait for me,
and when I speak they will give heed;
if I speak at greater length,
they will put their hands on their mouths.
13 Because of her I shall have immortality
and leave an everlasting remembrance to those who come after me.
14 I shall govern peoples,
and nations will be subject to me;
15 dread monarchs will be afraid of me when they hear of me;
among the people I shall show myself capable and courageous in war.
16 When I enter my house, I shall find rest with her,
for companionship with her has no bitterness,
and life with her has no pain but gladness and joy.
17 When I considered these things inwardly
and pondered in my heart
that in kinship with wisdom there is immortality,
18 and in friendship with her, pure delight,
and in the labors of her hands, unfailing wealth,
and in the experience of her company, understanding,
and renown in sharing her words,
I went about seeking how to get her for myself.
19 As a child I was naturally gifted,
and a good soul fell to my lot,
20 or rather, being good, I entered an undefiled body.
21 But I perceived that I would not possess wisdom unless God gave her to me-
and it was a mark of insight to know whose gift she was-
so I appealed to the Lord and implored him,
and with my whole heart I said
Your flashlight became a flare and you’ve seen everything the way it is and after that you are never the same again ...

A new Era is coming. Let’s make it more speedy with Sadhguru thoughts.
Yeah world is changing. I wish it could become better everyday.

The political establishment is still the same in brazil the admirations change based on it's current needs.

What are his thoughts..he never answer directly to even simple questions..he said never teach anyone about anything..what is he doing creating his foundations all over the world..

The Nature of Wisdom

unique, manifold, subtle,
agile, clear, unpolluted,
distinct, invulnerable, loving the good, keen,
23 irresistible, beneficent, humane,
steadfast, sure, free from anxiety,

that are intelligent, pure, and altogether subtle.
24 For wisdom is more mobile than any motion;
because of her pureness she pervades and penetrates all things.
25 For she is a breath of the power of God
and a pure emanation of the glory of the Almighty;
therefore nothing defiled gains entrance into her.
26 For she is a reflection of eternal light,
a spotless mirror of the working of God,
and an image of his goodness.
27 Although she is but one, she can do all things,
and while remaining in herself, she renews all things;
in every generation she passes into holy souls
and makes them friends of God and prophets,
28 for God loves nothing so much as the person who lives with wisdom.
29 She is more beautiful than the sun
and excels every constellation of the stars.
Compared with the light she is found to be more radiant,
30 for it is succeeded by the night,
but against wisdom evil does not prevail.Wisdom of Solomon 8

8 She reaches mightily from one end of the earth to the other,
and she orders all things well.
Love for Wisdom
2 I loved her and sought her from my youth;
7 And if anyone loves righteousness,
her labors are virtues,
for she teaches self-control and prudence,
justice and courage;
nothing in life is more profitable for mortals than these.
8 And if anyone longs for wide experience,
she knows the things of old and infers the things to come;
she understands turns of speech and the solutions of riddles;
she has foreknowledge of signs and wonders
and of the outcome of seasons and times.
12 When I am silent they will wait for me,
and when I speak they will give heed;
if I speak at greater length,
they will put their hands on their mouths.
13 Because of her I shall have immortality
and leave an everlasting remembrance to those who come after me.
14 I shall govern peoples,
and nations will be subject to me;
15 dread monarchs will be afraid of me when they hear of me;
among the people I shall show myself capable and courageous in war.
21 But I perceived that I would not possess wisdom unless God gave her to me-
and it was a mark of insight to know whose gift she was-
so I appealed to the Lord and implored him,
and with my whole heart I said,

In this video, Sadhguru was asking someone "Do you believe in God", and he was encouraging people to not to believe anything unless you see it. What a fantastic, mutually respectful discussion! Great stuff!
My eyes were misty listening to this mystic about mysticism. His knowledge and eloquence is unparalleled. Namaste sadguru 🙏
"Say YES! I'm working here!"
"Yes ... BUT ..."

If Dr Zoker Naik debate with Rabbi 😂

No point talking about Naik.
I respect Zakir Naik. He has the courage and authenticity to convey what this one particularly odd scripture is all about.
Most others are hypocrites that agree to the teachings "literally" all the while claiming the peace tag

The Rabbi is a thinker...he is thinking in between Sadhguru's lectures and taking the talk further..great guy to talk to
He’s a thinker about the real world or the reality he lives in, Sadhguru on the other hand was trying to explain how reality does not exist.
yup, shadguru's thinking is simplistic and pompous

Loved the rabbi as much as sadguru. Wonderful to hear such lightness in so much profundity

@@stmichl9433 I find it intriguing how you can both claim to know the intent of Sadhguru, the rabbi and myself and claim that no-one can know these things. You won't move me from my position and it is not important enough for me to try move you from yours. Take care.
Simplicity vs Complexity! Mysticism is "You see everything the way it is" loved ever word thank you!
The Guru seems to be concerned with people knowing the absolute truth and knowing they have control of these truths rather than allowing emotions to run you.. I agree.
Those last lines got me..When the flashligt becomes a flare, everything becomes visible...🙏
The way he looked at the rabbi then look away after was super hard
When a matchstick becomes a lightbulb, everything becomes visible....
In Christianity Satan is the Lightbearer.
those were not the last lines. and you misunderstand light, in this case. light only reveals what is close to you. light obscures the stars...the whole of the universe. light is selective. what the guru said was that his partner onstage had seen the light and it blinded him....to which there was no response.
Wow, that was brilliant by Sadguru. The Rabbi was at a disadvantage, the difference between book learning, traditions and actual gnostic (Knowledge) way of life
Most beautiful spiritual discussion. I will appreciate the person who interviewed Sadhguru he is intelligent

3 And when I was born, I began to breathe the common air
and fell upon the kindred earth;
my first sound was a cry, as is true of all.
4 I was nursed with care in swaddling cloths.
5 For no king has had a different beginning of existence;
6 there is for all one entrance into life and one way out.
Respect for Wisdom
7 Therefore I prayed, and understanding was given me;
I called on God, and the spirit of wisdom came to me.
13 I learned without guile, and I impart without grudging;
I do not hide her wealth,
14 for it is an unfailing treasure for mortals;
those who get it obtain friendship with God,
commended for the gifts that come from instruction.
Prayer for Wisdom
15 May God grant me to speak with judgment
and to have thoughts worthy of what I have received,
for he is the guide even of wisdom
and the corrector of the wise.
16 For both we and our words are in his hand,
as are all understanding and skill in crafts.
17 For it is he who gave me unerring knowledge of what exists,
to know the structure of the world and the activity of the elements,
18 the beginning and end and middle of times,
the alternations of the solstices and the changes of the seasons,
19 the cycles of the year and the constellations of the stars,
20 the natures of animals and the tempers of wild animals,
the powers of spirits[a] and the thoughts of human beings,
the varieties of plants and the virtues of roots;

3 And when I was born, I began to breathe the common air
and fell upon the kindred earth;
my first sound was a cry, as is true of all.
4 I was nursed with care in swaddling cloths.
5 For no king has had a different beginning of existence;
6 there is for all one entrance into life and one way out.
Respect for Wisdom
7 Therefore I prayed, and understanding was given me;
I called on God, and the spirit of wisdom came to me.
13 I learned without guile, and I impart without grudging;
I do not hide her wealth,
14 for it is an unfailing treasure for mortals;
those who get it obtain friendship with God,
commended for the gifts that come from instruction.
Prayer for Wisdom
15 May God grant me to speak with judgment
and to have thoughts worthy of what I have received,
for he is the guide even of wisdom
and the corrector of the wise.
16 For both we and our words are in his hand,
as are all understanding and skill in crafts.
17 For it is he who gave me unerring knowledge of what exists,
to know the structure of the world and the activity of the elements,
18 the beginning and end and middle of times,
the alternations of the solstices and the changes of the seasons,
19 the cycles of the year and the constellations of the stars,
20 the natures of animals and the tempers of wild animals,
the powers of spirits[a] and the thoughts of human beings,
the varieties of plants and the virtues of roots;
21 I learned both what is secret and what is manifest,
22 for wisdom, the fashioner of all things, taught me.
The Nature of Wisdom
There is in her a spirit that is intelligent, holy,
unique, manifold, subtle,
agile, clear, unpolluted,
distinct, invulnerable, loving the good, keen,
23 irresistible, beneficent, humane,
steadfast, sure, free from anxiety,
all-powerful, overseeing all,
and penetrating through all spirits
that are intelligent, pure, and altogether subtle.
24 For wisdom is more mobile than any motion;
because of her pureness she pervades and penetrates all things.
25 For she is a breath of the power of God
and a pure emanation of the glory of the Almighty;
therefore nothing defiled gains entrance into her.
26 For she is a reflection of eternal light,
a spotless mirror of the working of God,
and an image of his goodness.
27 Although she is but one, she can do all things,
and while remaining in herself, she renews all things;
in every generation she passes into holy souls
and makes them friends of God and prophets,
28 for God loves nothing so much as the person who lives with wisdom.
2 I loved her and sought her from my youth;
7 And if anyone loves righteousness,
her labors are virtues,
for she teaches self-control and prudence,
justice and courage;
nothing in life is more profitable for mortals than these.
8 And if anyone longs for wide experience,
she knows the things of old and infers the things to come;
she understands turns of speech and the solutions of riddles;
she has foreknowledge of signs and wonders
and of the outcome of seasons and times.
12 When I am silent they will wait for me,
and when I speak they will give heed;
if I speak at greater length,
they will put their hands on their mouths.
13 Because of her I shall have immortality
and leave an everlasting remembrance to those who come after me.
14 I shall govern peoples,
and nations will be subject to me;
15 dread monarchs will be afraid of me when they hear of me;
among the people I shall show myself capable and courageous in war.
21 But I perceived that I would not possess wisdom unless God gave her to me-
and it was a mark of insight to know whose gift she was-
so I appealed to the Lord and implored him,
and with my whole heart I said
I was treasure hunting. Then I found this. I feel rich now!

@Tel Aviv I can but agar tum sadguru ka itna saral explanation nahi samajh pa rhe toh mujhe nahi lagta meri Baat samajh paoge par tab bhi main koshish karta hun
Is video me sadguru yeh kahna chahte hai ki sirf tumhari body existential reality hai baki sab that is love, joy, ecstasy, pleasure are not existential reality woh sab tumhare andar ke emotion hai jo tumhari outside activity aur inner activity par depended hai (iska explanation bahut long hai jo is video me bhi hai agar nahi samajh aaye toh fir puchhna) and tribal villages ho ya urban cities people are all the same they just think they are different which is they are not and makes makes the things for them complicated which is again not really complicated and uneducated se Yeh Matlab hai ki tum apna dimaag khula rakh rahe ho aur tum kisi ek jis se jude nahi ho that is you are not identified by a particular thing you are seeing everything around you ( "everything" and not just the thing they want to see you and a particular thing that you want to see) aur usme baad tum usme se positive lete ho ya negatives Yeh tumhare uper hai par ek Baat toh hai ki you will not be the same again.
Maine ek comment me pda tha ki tum Indian ho toh bhosdi wale chacha ek number ke chutiya ho agar Indian hokar bhi sadhguru ki Baat nahi samajh pa rhe ho. Anyway best of luck for your future bhosdiwale chacha
Only If I Speak there is Speaking, Only If I Walk there is Walking and only If I "Be" there is "Being" . Wow that is really profound.

New Revised Standard Version Updated Edition
8 She reaches mightily from one end of the earth to the other,
and she orders all things well.
Love for Wisdom
2 I loved her and sought her from my youth;
7 And if anyone loves righteousness,
her labors are virtues,
for she teaches self-control and prudence,
justice and courage;
nothing in life is more profitable for mortals than these.
8 And if anyone longs for wide experience,
she knows the things of old and infers the things to come;
she understands turns of speech and the solutions of riddles;
she has foreknowledge of signs and wonders
and of the outcome of seasons and times.
12 When I am silent they will wait for me,
and when I speak they will give heed;
if I speak at greater length,
they will put their hands on their mouths.
13 Because of her I shall have immortality
and leave an everlasting remembrance to those who come after me.
14 I shall govern peoples,
and nations will be subject to me;
15 dread monarchs will be afraid of me when they hear of me;
among the people I shall show myself capable and courageous in war.
21 But I perceived that I would not possess wisdom unless God gave her to me-
and it was a mark of insight to know whose gift she was-
so I appealed to the Lord and implored him,
and with my whole heart I said,
What a wonderful exchange between two very kind & compassionate men. THIS kind of interaction is great for the world & for those that would listen with open minds & hearts...

3 And when I was born, I began to breathe the common air
and fell upon the kindred earth;
my first sound was a cry, as is true of all.
4 I was nursed with care in swaddling cloths.
5 For no king has had a different beginning of existence;
6 there is for all one entrance into life and one way out.
Respect for Wisdom
7 Therefore I prayed, and understanding was given me;
I called on God, and the spirit of wisdom came to me.
13 I learned without guile, and I impart without grudging;
I do not hide her wealth,
14 for it is an unfailing treasure for mortals;
those who get it obtain friendship with God,
commended for the gifts that come from instruction.
Prayer for Wisdom
15 May God grant me to speak with judgment
and to have thoughts worthy of what I have received,
for he is the guide even of wisdom
and the corrector of the wise.
16 For both we and our words are in his hand,
as are all understanding and skill in crafts.
17 For it is he who gave me unerring knowledge of what exists,
to know the structure of the world and the activity of the elements,
18 the beginning and end and middle of times,
the alternations of the solstices and the changes of the seasons,
19 the cycles of the year and the constellations of the stars,
20 the natures of animals and the tempers of wild animals,
the powers of spirits[a] and the thoughts of human beings,
the varieties of plants and the virtues of roots;
21 I learned both what is secret and what is manifest,
22 for wisdom, the fashioner of all things, taught me.
The Nature of Wisdom
There is in her a spirit that is intelligent, holy,
unique, manifold, subtle,
agile, clear, unpolluted,
distinct, invulnerable, loving the good, keen,
23 irresistible, beneficent, humane,
steadfast, sure, free from anxiety,
all-powerful, overseeing all,
and penetrating through all spirits
that are intelligent, pure, and altogether subtle.
24 For wisdom is more mobile than any motion;
because of her pureness she pervades and penetrates all things.
25 For she is a breath of the power of God
and a pure emanation of the glory of the Almighty;
therefore nothing defiled gains entrance into her.
26 For she is a reflection of eternal light,
a spotless mirror of the working of God,
and an image of his goodness.
27 Although she is but one, she can do all things,
and while remaining in herself, she renews all things;
in every generation she passes into holy souls
and makes them friends of God and prophets,
28 for God loves nothing so much as the person who lives with wisdom.
29 She is more beautiful than the sun
and excels every constellation of the stars.

Hindu scriptures prohibit images of God.

The respectful Rabbi truly demonstrates the goodness and kindness in Jewish culture. We need more of this.
U are absolutely correct .
He was intelligent enough to know he was out of his league so the only proper response is just what he did.

Sadhguru loves that someone should throw mature questions. great talk

All I want is just 2 things in my life
1) it's my personal
2) I want Sadhguru to stay young forever
To teach us many things
Yes he lives forever in my life
When he dies he will merge with god in the spiritual world so he'll never come back to this materialistic world , value him when he his here before your eyes then only u can remember his sayings
He wants us to take his teaching and be better than him.
Take care.
Sadhguru has got the whole world in his Mind🙏🙏🙏He's a true Master.
I’m Malaysian, Master Sadguru well said explaination, superb ❤️❤️❤️

among the people I shall show myself capable and courageous in war.
21 But I perceived that I would not possess wisdom unless God gave her to me-
and it was a mark of insight to know whose gift she was-
so I appealed to the Lord and implored him,
and with my whole heart I said,

Then none of them including you or me would have watched it, attractive title is a strategy to do it. At least here this technique is not misused but advertisement companies misuse it a lot.

Wow sadhguru is just unbelievable he answers in a way as though the gods are whispering it all in his ear . Complete and a insightful. Thanks for this 💫💫⭐️🌈
The reason why Sadhguru spends so much time explaining and trying to make the external world understand is because he realizes most people live in their state of external existence and does not understand how to detach from it. So he is trying to teach people at the state they are in. 🙏🏾
He definitely knows alot than he shares. He is aware if he explains all things...it will freak people out.
Yes! I believe that the external existence you are talking about is the ego. Only once we are aware of the ego can we begin to detach from it, and reach a higher state of consciousness.

What is eternal about him? He just said love is an emotion not God. He doesn't know vaikuntha or sivaloka etc. He's eternally a fart
I love that saying "they need a fool to bell a cat, they found me."

I have been listening to Sadhguru videos for a few months. I am very grateful to the Rabbi for his questions because I would have asked the same questions. I also appreciated the manner in which he asked his questions. Thank you for this video!
