I think the reason the wife's and daughters seem to go along with it is cause they're conditioned to think you can't say anything about the things that make you uncomfortable, especially when men make them uncomfortable.
i don’t blame the daughters, because in most of these pictures they look like they’re too young to understand the implications of the situation. but the wives/moms is just so disappointing to me. it just makes me sad for them

You still live in italy? Is it easy to save up/invest there? Retirement?
I do still live here! I’ve been a student for most of my time here so I can’t speak on investments or retirement funds etc
I think some of your examples are a little extreme to say the least. The wedding guy is obviously a moron. The satan people require more context. The ball and chain stuff is, for the most part, comedic hyperbole. The Christmas photos definitely look bad, however, we don't really know what the family dynamics are. It's also possible that these were the mother's idea. Family Christmas photos are not generally thought of as straight male territory after all. It's also possible (and likely) that they took a bunch of Christmas photos and this was the "funny" one.
Anyway, just my opinion.
