Yorkshire puddings are easy! The trick is to get the pan smoking hot, a little oil in each tin and don’t open the oven door when they are cooking! Oh and rest the batter. In the fridge after you’ve made it.
Toad in the hole is made in a large roasting tin with browned sausages in first then pour the batter in and bake. It’s delicious served with tons of veggies!

For the poor/struggling/financially dry folk. Like me.
Buy the cheapest stiffest beef you can find. Cut it up. Marinate in a bit of soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper and chili. Brown in a pan until almost too brown.
Throw it in boiling water with beef (cube) stock. Leave for 2,3 hours. Add some vegetables the last 10 minutes.
Thank me later, this is the best and cheapest beef soup you ever had. The meat will dissolve in your mouth but the vegetables are crunchy and firm. I always impress my guests with this, and its cheap and easy as hell

Snake River farms has some amazing American Wagyu which is a good one to start with. It kind of ruined other steaks (Angus, Hereford) for me cause it's so juicy, and tender it literally melts in your mouth.

I've cooked the American Wagyu multiple times, and the best result (to MY old taste-buds) was sous vide followed by a quick sear. My DREAM is to do the same with a succulent A5. It must be DIVINE!

I always pan fry it than do it on the gas/charcoal grille as I do with normal steaks. Then I like to follow up with a quick whiskey peppercorn pan sauce while the meat is resting. I will also serve with whole roast onions, potatoes, and heads of roasted garlic. YUM!

Definitely watch video how-tos first. I never used to cook pork much but I read up on tips and tricks for each cut I use and eventually got the hang of it, I assume beef is probably the same. Just know what cut you're using and use the right technique.

Just an FYI: The mostly organic market, Frazier Farms, that sells the waygu beef I mentioned, a small NY strip costs around $15.95 or so, and they come in several versions, including "rich", which is apparently the most marbled. That's what I get. I've bought it twice; I grill it on the grill, and these *are* exceptional cuts of meat. Tender, flavorful - really, hands down a favorite. Next I'm going to try the filet mignon!

I already knew which was the Japanese wagyu before you even said it. I’ve had genuine wagyu and it’s literally unmatched. Japans breeding requirements and strict diets of those cows and any of their animals truly shows within their impeccable food quality within their restaurants. I know wagyu is expensive for some so the New York wagyu gives just a good experience and tends to definitely be friendlier on the price tag depending where you go!

I’m such a sucker for steaks. I grill, sous vide, blow torched, oven cooked, reverse sear.. I’ve done it all. I’ve had domestic wagyu steak and paid well over $100 each. It was just okay. I don’t know if I hyped it too hard in my head or what, but I was not as impressed. What I have been impressed with is a beautiful dry aged rib eye, done on a BBQ seasoned with only salt and pepper, and the lightest amount of oil. Cooked it to a perfect medium rare and it was absolutely delectable! I hope to get an A5 Japan steak one day 🙏🏼
