    • Wagyu Beef and Kobe Be... Watch this video for more on what is Wagyu Beef and the answers to all of your Wagyu vs Kobe questions.
    In this video, The Bearded Butchers cut through an entire Japanese A5 Wagyu Ribeye and A5 Wagyu Strip Loin. Seth says it's like cutting through butter, much softer than cutting through American Grain Fed Beef. After the steaks are cut, it just wouldn't be a Bearded Butcher Video unless they went on the grill and showed us all how to cook Wagyu Beef! Scott says it's 20 out of 10 so it really must be good.

    What's so good about Wagyu Beef Steak? Scott has 5 reasons:
    1) Visuals
    2) Sound (Sizzle)
    3) Aroma
    4) Mouthfeel

      I just wonder - why most farmes do not raise wagyu breed of cattle? Since it is so good and expensive to sell?
      I mean it can not be much of difference to feed wagyu cattle instead normal angus or other catlle breeds.
      That way it could be also cheap, since it would not be so rare.

      @Miguel Angel Yea doing it japan way yes, but even feeding wagyu breed lowcost way should produce better results than stanrad cattle breeds.

    Had the honor of trying A5 Wagyu before and I must say, it’s the pinnacle of all Steaks and Beef in general hands down. Nothing compares to the buttery richness and flavor of it. Highly recommend for any Steak lover to try at least once, likely won’t be the last. It’s almost hard to finish a ribeye by yourself cus of its richness so a family of 4 can enjoy together.

    I agree, it’s the best, but like everyone, including yourselves, say, its super rich. I think I would prefer the Australian approach, where it’s half as rich, for about forty percent of the money. That’s still twice as rich as a US Prime cut of beef. I would want a sit down steak dinner with a nice twelve to fourteen ounce steak, baked potato, home made roll and salad. I really don’t mind the act of chewing, especially a great piece of perfectly cooked steak!

    Your experience shows, same size cut every time. Its real cool. When I cut steaks at home I always look good on the top but they bottoms are usually either way to fat or to thin and that is no matter how steady I try to keep my hand or how slow I cut. Love the channel, thanks for all the great content.

    • @1982MCI
      @1982MCI 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sharp knife first off Kenny. Let your knife do the work and do not push down on the meat at all! That’s what’s causing the bottoms to turn out fat and skinny. As you apply any pressure it causes the meat to move so you will end up with a big fat cut on one then the next one will be skinny cause half of the meat is on the previous cut resulting in a fat one. You can also place the meat in the freezer for 15-20 min prior to slicing and it will firm it up and make slicing much easier.

    I tried it in Japan, 80D for a small piece like 150 g or less, best beef I ever tried, ordered it medium. Thought it was too soft, but loved it. Then I read that Kenji said that W5 should be only cooked medium well or well done (of all stakes), and I think he is right, it is just impossible to overcook it, only burn it.

    There is nothing like this. So rich and flavorful. The olive wagyu is even better tasting to me. I have cooked 3 A5 briskets recently and let me tell you that has “ruined” any other brisket. What a treat this is for your customers. They do suggest slicing the steak into 1” strips and cooking a piece at a time!
