Ya, the family is waaaay too naive and passive….what you describe as respectful, we interpret as weak and frankly annoying…..especially the niece……could she be more passive? Rose colored glasses…

Condolences with respect kind of person they are is more important she showed her natural human nature as person George and his family didn’t deserve it
I was once married to an older, very wealthy man. He loved me very much, as I loved him. One day, he asked out of the blue, "Will you be my executrix, please, to administer my will, when the time comes?" I answered, "Yes, if you want me to." We got to talking about the subject of wealth and money, and how his was to be distributed... he made the comment, "I'm worth quite a bit," and I countered with, "No, you are worth much more than that. Bobby, don't you understand, you are my treasure?" He was like George... kind, warm and caring, and he made money and often gave it to those who needed it. I was not a spender, so we got along well.
People who have such wonderful spouses and treat them terribly and murderously like this astonish me. She was already so lucky!! 🎉
Like this series, told in a calm , logical manner and NO dramatic music constantly in the background.
I like the Australian ones, the cops use of the language makes me laugh so much 😄 eg 'Mongrel, villain etc
I disagree. The music soundtrack was too loud and distracting enough to mute out the narrative.

Well it helps that the narrator is a professional.

I hope she gets every single thing she deserves. And Simon, too.
Poor George. 🥺
He married her? Not exactly a looker. Poor man.

She lived a life of luxury in prison, she had all the officers wrapped around her little finger, she had all the best jobs and worked closely to staff like reception jobs. I know I was not only in the same prison has her but on the same unit at drake hall.
@@Noname-oo9gn wow just found out about this case. Its usually the way they lie and then get all this sympathy creeping and crawling to staff and other prisoners. This is such a heartbreaking story. Poor George 😢 he just wanted to love and be loved. My condolences to his family. I’m very sorry for the loss of your dear family member.
The snoring noise is indicative of a partially blocked airway, not a head injury. If you ever come across an unconscious person you MUST open their airway and keep it open until help arrives. It is more important than worrying about any other injuries. From a nurse.

I know, the mention the age difference, and I thought she was older than him! Frumpy to the end...what did all that money go to?
She didn’t spend it on her looks. That haircut looked like she went to the barber school. And she had a passion for shoes. I’m going to stop there because I hate putting people down for their looks but since I can’t stand this women I’m afraid of what I might say.

I’m happy to hear the uncle did that just wish he had have went to them before hand. That way they could’ve maybe set it up to where those to went to prison before they had the chance. It’s sad cause so many people don’t realize that you can go to the police with just that information. What a greedy horrible woman. How she hoodwinked such a kind man, is beyond me. She must have flattered him no end.
she certainly didn't have the looks or the goods to get him otherwise; I don't see the age difference, as she looked terrible for someone that spent so much money on herself!

Yes she is, how on earth did they think they’d get away with such an evil crime. All that debt, a young man living in the house, who was closer to Christina’s age. She had a past with theft, due to her over spending, and poor George working his butt off to pay off the debts. Life insurance to be collected, it’s all there 🤷🏼♀️ it’s rather obvious what happened here. Sad for George, his daughter and family.

Yes. He seems to have lived a very simple bachelors life and a bit of an introvert before she came on scene. He was a sitting target. May he rest in peace.
I've watched many documentaries like this and it still astonishes me the lengths people will go to just to get money, and yet they always get caught! Life is far more important than cash.
Russell and Bromley shoes apparently RIP George
these people were evil through and through. I hope they never see the light of day. Obviously her psychopathic behavior was clear. It seemed like the niece and brother didn't get she is spending spending spending and the George is working 3 jobs, is not well, and obviously under continual stress.
A greedy manipulating woman, who's desire for money is a bottomless pit..don't choke on the prison food!😡

Worse than that
She’s out of prison unfortunately
That prison food is nothing like Sainsbury's best.
It's terrible when a stranger ends someone's life in order to rob them but for a man's WIFE to do this to her husband because she likes to "keep up with the Jones's" is the worst kind of betrayal. It is also extremely lowdown for her to involve her nephew in her diabolical plan. If I were tempted to do something like this there is not a single relative of mine that I think so little of that I would be willing to risk his or her going down with me. This woman is VILE! She is exactly where she needs to be and I hope LIFE means LIFE and not "with a minimum tariff of 15 years" or some such nonsense. What a shame that a good man got involved with this evil woman!

Quite frankly, the only reason for insurance should be to cover one's final expenses. I have seen so many crime shows where the motive was life insurance. In a lot of cases, the insurance companies hand the money over to murderers quite freely.
Fairplay to the uncle who put the scumbags in to the police
I was wondering though out - where was the 7 year old daughter on the night all other household members were out either murdering or being murdered? That might have been another clue, if mother had sent her away uncharacteristically on that night. And being me I have to ask, did the dog come home alone that night unscathed? Not always. My husband had a brain hemorrhage that caused trauma to his brain stem. He was snoring loudly, the 911 operator knew at once what had happened. I had no clue and was scared out of my mind. He was never to awaken again, I lost him 4 days later. My life has never been the same. I had no idea that your brain stem controls breathing. Yes, it's hard to understand how she managed to look so middle-aged and frumpy in her 20's. She obviously was of below average intelligence to think she could pull this off and not be caught. A motive is the only thing police would need to find before she became a suspect, and she was sitting on top of a huge one. Large debt and an even larger life insurance policy to collect. Incredibly dumb of her, and narcissistic to pull her nephew into the crime.
A dispicable, waste of a human body she's been.
😂😛👏
I'm going to hazard a guess that she suffers from very low self esteem, probably some awful childhood trauma, and shopping and food were her drugs. They filled the emptiness inside her. She didn't spend any of the money on her looks, because she didn't care about her looks. That's obvious. Maybe her prettiest part was her feet, so she dressed them up.

He might have been a good man, but he had no backbone. He allowed that heifer to walk all over him and ultimately murder him. He had his own insecurities. I also held my mother's hand as she passed away so I know how painful it is.
Is it just me osr did she never look like a young bride? They mention the age difference several times, but I thought she was mother to the bridesmaids!
