Just a tip, if you are going to title your video "How to get your Firestick to communicate with your Ring Cameras" then you should probably show how you got it to work. There are many non-tech people out there or people unfamiliar with the devices who are looking for help. A video showing that you got it to work doesnt help.
There's no Ring app for the Firestick you don't need it for it to work. For the Firestick to use Ring, You need to go on your Alexa app and go to the settings then select TV & Video then select Fire TV then select Manage Devices then select Link Another Device then select your Fire TV then select the Echo device that you want to use for your tv done. Just tell echo device to show whatever you put on your ring camera name. Example (Alexa show me Front Door)
Thank you! I didn't realize that all of the apps were connected through the Amazon Alexa app but that makes sense, since it has all of my devices stored in the app. Thanks again!
This is what I'm looking for, I think. I have a 2nd gen firestick and just bought a Ring floodlight cam. Trying to get them to talk. Basically, what you said was- you installed the Ring app, synced to your info and boom, there it is? On your TV screen. Right?
Do you need to talk into the remote everytime? I want to do something similar using just an old computer monitor. Im not too concerned with sound, I just want to see who's at my door and cycle through my backyard cameras
The voice remote is need to talk to the doorbell. You wouldnt need the voice part to just open the app, but its probably the fastest way to navigate to it
I know this was almost a year ago but I noticed you had a very old linksys router. Hopefully you've upgraded to at least an AC or AX router for much faster connectivity
All you have to do is set up ring device the set up echo then go to add device on your alexa app ,add ring to alexa and thats it..then say alexa show me the front door..you must also have a firestick on your tv and all be paired to the same network
Mine just found it because it's on the same WiFi network as my Ring Device. There was nothing I needed to add. I just said, "Show me the Front Door." Or use whatever you called your Ring Device for the name.
It has to be "bridged" in the alexa app. Go to skills and link the apps together. once they are linked together. Then just turn the fire stick on and speak into the remote
And you are one of the most misleading peaple that made this video. Peaple like you are the problem. You maybe smart but you are highly inconsiderate. Thanks to the comments, it easy to install and setup. No thanks to your video.
For the not so simple minded, if you listened to what I had to say in the beginning, I said to download the app onto your device and pair it, how hard is that? I get that many of you are visual, I get that, all that means is that you have a hard time following instructions and would rather look at a picture when assembling a product, and I apologize, I should've thought about the visual people too! I also get that it takes a genius like me to give you step by step instructions. Sorry!
It’s good to see that this is possible. However your video description makes it seem like you we’re going to show everyone how to set it up.

Thank you! This worked seamlessly! Now I can watch my baby play while I cook lol 😂!
Thank you black07si!!! You helped me..otherwise, this video was no help at all!

People learn by seeing 90% better, show actual steps to program ring app, fire stick app and integrating Alexa
can you get the doorbell notification through the tv as well ?
Why you don't show how to set up ? you just show how it work with no step by step process
I wasted 5 minutes of my life
You haven’t demonstrated when the button is pushed on the front doorbell. Would the person at the door appear on the tv via the firestick.
I actually put Ring on my Firestick and it works as it should.
How
Please share how?
That's awesome Kyle, obviously we have a lot of dummies here, lol...
Can you use a smart tv without the Firestick but with Echo dot and Ring Cameras?
Can you actually show how you linked the 2. Is there an app you need to download on the fire stick?
George directions work better than the applications Direction
How did you download the app?
Thank you i been trying to figure it out for a hr
Does this work with fire tv and blink camera instead buying a alexa show
what is the app named, on fire tv stick, communicating with Ring camera?
So much hate on here. I found your video useful. Thanks!
Yeah, those are the jealous people, they don't bother me. Thanks
Great information, thanks
Very enjoyable and useful thanks
Sooooo how do you get the ring doorbell connected to fire stick??????
He downloaded the ring app to the firestick

Just download alexa on your phone, after that, just add divices to skills
When you press the button on the remote you don’t need to say Alexa ! she is already waiting for the command 😂😂😂
Do you need to talk into the remote everytime? I want to do something similar using just an old computer monitor. Im not too concerned with sound, I just want to see who's at my door and cycle through my backyard cameras

Thank you I found this video helpful.
I have same fire stick and connected my ring through the Amazon app and it tells me that it can't show on this version of fire t.v. Amy ideas
I know this was almost a year ago but I noticed you had a very old linksys router. Hopefully you've upgraded to at least an AC or AX router for much faster connectivity
Good looking out Homie. That worked fantastically
There is a way to communicate through your tv. Simply hold the microphone button on your control.
All you have to do is set up ring device the set up echo then go to add device on your alexa app ,add ring to alexa and thats it..then say alexa show me the front door..you must also have a firestick on your tv and all be paired to the same network
Thanks
Darn it thought you were gonna show us how to set it up might have to change your title bud
Exactly. Very deceiving
This was pretty painful 😨
I can’t figure out how to add it to my fire stick. Please help. Thanks

Just go to the search icon on your Firestick and type ring, download it then sync it to your firestick.
1:59 and I am out.
It worked for me thanks
Did you get your flu shot today?
Say Alexa answer the front door and you should get audio.
b/c theres a speaker on the tv means theres a mic...what?
Didn't know there were so many stupid people! LMAO!

you didn't show how to download the app
I will try it out
If someone rings. Open the program automatically
Omg Sir just delete this! Its not helpful at all
I'm actually more confused after watching this
Yeah, but HOW DO YOU DO ALL OF THAT???? come on dude.
You did'nt say how to get there
Omg thanks.
This is not the fire stick this is the fire tv.....
Completely unhelpful because you started from a point were you had already connected ring an alexa which is what you said you'd demonstrate.
ahhh that did nothing! show how to put the ring app on the fire stick!! waist of 5 minutes of my life that I will never get back!!!
Brendan McGeough go in your phone to the App Store & download ring app from there
Lol you never said what app you used
Not helpful at all, you could of shown the ring app itself or how to download the app
WASTE OF TIME!
Well that taught me NOTHING, save the fact that you drink Sunkist. 🤦🏻♂️

Doe NOT show how to connect.
Ok, so this shows that it work, but this doesn’t show me how to set it up. Useless video
