What a great clear,and precise video,I looked at other videos on the same subject and it was all rushed their fingers moving all over the screen very fast . Just one thing I have set my Alexa up with my Ring floodlight camera and its all working well but I see the alert but it then stay on the screen until I ask Alexa to show pictures or the weather,also I cannot turn the microphone of the ring camera or the alexa, any ideas. Hi Peter, thank you for your comment. I think the alexa will time-out the camera after 5 mins....but I usually tell alexa to "go home"...and it returns to the home screen. I think it's possible to add a wait feature in your routine and then add a custom command to tell alexa to "go home" after the wait time you want. You may want to experiment with that. I think the ring door bell will load with the talk feature automatically as you were wanting. I'm disposing of my ring doorbell because I don't want to pay for their prescription fees. You'll see me adding a new eufy doorbell camera in the near future. Thanks again, Todd
I used your instructions and they worked until I kept getting a "system busy" on my camera's view. I found that if I wasn't home to see my amazon show to tell to go back home it kept my camera system busy. Did you have the same results or is there a work around ? Hi, I think you can create another routine, besides the one to show the camera. Make the second routine start when camera motion is detected, have a "wait" time for 45 seconds or something, then have that routine "custom" say, "go home". This should make the alexa show go back to home screen.

you also can use vlc that's what I have mine on a firestick on a monitor below my TV which has it's on firestick set up but I only have one camera never have tried more than one yet

After I install the "IP Cam Viewer" app on my Fire TV, I just create an Alexa Routine to ask my Fire TV to "Open IP Cam Viewer" on my Fire TV. You can download a FREE version of the "IP CAM Viewer" app and try it out, before you buy it. Hope this helps. -Todd
im moving from google to alexa and pucrchased acho 8 , only becouse i have Eufy cameras and love this feature. i canot get the the CCTV camera to open on movement, i can only get a notification via routines, can you please help
I set up a routine to show my outdoor garage cam on my Show 5 when motion is detected and it works great. But is there anyway to show that motion detected feed for say 2 minutes and then have the Show 5 revert to home screen? I tried to put a "wait" action for 2 min after the "show" action and then an "Alexa go home command" BUT the "Show" command apparently has to be the last command in the routine! So anyway to make the feed temporary and then back to Show home screen? Thanks
I have the same problem. I was just about to post this when I read your post... I did this for my Echo Show 10 in my family room and my Echo Show 5 in my bedroom for motion at front door Ring Pro2. However, if I'm not home or anywhere near the Echos the live view of front door will remain on the screen. I have to manually hit Home to go back to home screen . I tested it to see if it will go back to the Home screen on its own and it doesn't. Does anyone else have this problem? How can i fix this?? Thanks!

How do get all your cameras on the tv screen as you have? Is that the amazon tiny cam monitor pro app? Did you pay $3.99 for the app? And does it work well? Was it hard to set up? @@twHomeShow I am looking at getting some nvr type cams and also replace my zwave GE alarm system. Do your eufy cams work with the ipcam software? I have mostly google and nest in my house now so it’s quite annoying how google automation isn’t at good as Alexa from what I see.

The eufy cams will work with ALEXA and FireTV as well as the eufy Security app or on the eufy desktop browser here: mysecurity.eufylife.com/#/login -Todd

You can't show live-feed from multiple eufy cams because they are battery operated. The closest thing to doing what you are describing is to use the internet eufy address here and login to your eufy account: mysecurity.eufylife.com/

I don't know how technical you are, but I did find on the internet that someone has found a way to display the eufy cam over Blue Iris Software here: communitysecurity.eufylife.com/t/eufy-2k-indoor-rtsp-not-working-with-blue-iris/610444 It seems to me that you would need to be able to acquire the IP address of the eufy cam. I would also experiment with the iOS or Android App named "IP Cam Viewer" < I use this App to show ALL of my cameras over my TV or internet browser. This works excellent for me! I have been trying for 3+ weeks to get our blink doorbell to show on the firetv when there is movement. I have not succeeded. So, before I purchase a Eufy system that will do what we need. Will this work? It is for my job, so we can see when someone comes to the door and who it is automatically.

Hello, You can't view them ALL at once all together - since they are battery or solar operated cameras. I did find a nice PC or Laptop website admin panel that is provided by eufy that you might like, here: mysecurity.eufylife.com/
Can you show how to have a constant feed to a Echo show device. I would like to be able to watch the front of my house on the Echo show device screen at all times.
Thanks for the how to but is there a way to make it display only when tv is on. When I get a notification it will turn tv on even though it’s off but doesn’t show the video. It works fine when tv is already on. I would rather it not be turning on tv all the time.
When I go into smart device to set up routine, it doesn't show the camera. But it is in the device list. I am also able to see the video on firetv max with voice but not the Gen 1 FTV.
I found this info online ... "The compatible Alexa devices that can display camera feeds are the 1st and 2nd generation Fire TV, the 2nd generation Fire TV Stick, the Fire TV Edition television, and the Echo Show. Amazon explicitly says the 1st generation Fire TV Stick is not compatible with camera viewing."
Will it display 2 different cameras after being triggered? What if both get triggered at the same time? How did you display 4 cam feeds on your screen at 7:49, without any white border?
I have the Fire TV. Will my regular television programs (satellite tv) pause and resume afterwards if my satellite box doesn’t support recording programs for future viewing? Would that be a feature that’s part of the TV itself as opposed to the satellite box?

Does any fire stick work.? I have a very old one and a message plays saying not supported on this fire stick? Do I need a new fire stick 4K? Or would it be that the camera isn’t compatible? I’m using a Neos smartcam… in the Alexa app it says under the Neos camera that it doesn’t support live view?? But it lets me create the routine? Hi Michael, Please make sure you have the following: #1 FireTV Cube or Stick #2 An ECHO with a HUB (not just an ECHO DOT). You need an ECHO w/built-in Hub. #3 Open the ALEXA App and go to "Skills & Games" and search and add the "EufySecurity App". If you have all these, you should be able to show your eufy Cameras on you FireTV Stick.
i would suggest otherwise , what if the thief gets the gun instead besides letting alexa have access to such a thing is not wise since it would mean anyone can ask alexa to open it which defeats the whole purpose of having a gun lock/safe

Hello Murtaza, I would make sure you have the Eufy skill installed within the Alexa App and if you already do, I would dis-able the Eufy skill > then re-enable it again. One other thing I can think of....you may need an Alexa in your home the has the Hub built-in, so you may check that. -Todd
I have blink cameras and i want to have the ability to watch all 4 cameras on a monitor. Right now i get a notification on my phone that there is movement. I want the ability to watch all 4 cameras continually on a separate monitor? How do i accomplish this ?
Hi, firstly great tutorial. i just have an issue, i have the eufy 2c pro cameras. i followed the first 7 mins of the video, i believe the app is setup correctly as i have notifications pushed to all my firesticks when motion detected. however its not sending the motion to my sticks. i only get notified on my phone via the app. do i need a seperate app for the firestick. i have the 4k stick. hi there! very useful video, a wasn't really sure eufy cam were trully compatible with Echo environment, now i'm able to make them run correctly! just a few questions, do yo think having the eufy homebase all the footage will be saved in it? or still have to insert microsd to have the full 2k recording? thanks a lot!
Dude that was too cool she never does anything i ask lol even on firestick remote you can tap the mic real quick and pulls up the dashbord select camera and half the time it works even asking her to do it is a hit and miss thanks
Todd, thanks for this video, which raises a question for me: Up until recently, I did not need to create Routines to Show my cameras. I would just enable the camera's Alexa Skill, for example Yi IOT and then everytime I said to my Fire Cube: "Computer, Show me the Backyard" it would come up on our Fire Cube. But lately, that has stopped and instead the reply is: "OK Hmm Backyard is not responding." So I am wondering whether it would start working again if I created an Alexa Routine like yours, but where the trigger would just be "Computer (or Alexa) Show me Backyard" but I can't figure out how to set up the routine as Custom is not available. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
The reason I ask is, in Canada, sometimes there are features on Alexa that are not available yet. So you should have that "Custom" option available. 🤔 -Todd
I don't have a smart phone as I don't really need one, can I set this all up with just using my firetv and Alexa ? Its dam annoying that everything seems to push you to buy a phone when I really don't want one. ( Strange I know 😂) Can anyone help ? You make it look so easy.😂

I have been trying for 3+ weeks to get our blink doorbell to show on the firetv when there is movement. I have not succeeded. So, before I purchase a Eufy system that will do what we need. Will this work? It is for my job, so we can see when someone comes to the door and who it is automatically.
Question I'm having problems with this. I downloaded Alexa it found my cameras, but I can't get it to alert me on the fire stick. I can get live feed sometimes. And when I go into Amazon app can't find skill

Hello, You can't view them ALL at once all together - since they are battery or solar operated cameras. I did find a nice PC or Laptop website admin panel that is provided by eufy that you might like, here: mysecurity.eufylife.com/

Thanks for the how to but is there a way to make it display only when tv is on. When I get a notification it will turn tv on even though it’s off but doesn’t show the video. It works fine when tv is already on. I would rather it not be turning on tv all the time.
When I go into smart device to set up routine, it doesn't show the camera. But it is in the device list. I am also able to see the video on firetv max with voice but not the Gen 1 FTV.

I have the Fire TV. Will my regular television programs (satellite tv) pause and resume afterwards if my satellite box doesn’t support recording programs for future viewing? Would that be a feature that’s part of the TV itself as opposed to the satellite box?

Does any fire stick work.? I have a very old one and a message plays saying not supported on this fire stick? Do I need a new fire stick 4K? Or would it be that the camera isn’t compatible? I’m using a Neos smartcam… in the Alexa app it says under the Neos camera that it doesn’t support live view?? But it lets me create the routine? Just don’t know if I should be updating my camera or fire stick?

Hi Michael, Please make sure you have the following:
#1 FireTV Cube or Stick
#2 An ECHO with a HUB (not just an ECHO DOT). You need an ECHO w/built-in Hub.
#3 Open the ALEXA App and go to "Skills & Games" and search and add the "EufySecurity App".
If you have all these, you should be able to show your eufy Cameras on you FireTV Stick.
Would be cool to automate the camera to trigger a gun safe unlocking if it's late at night
i would suggest otherwise , what if the thief gets the gun instead besides letting alexa have access to such a thing is not wise since it would mean anyone can ask alexa to open it which defeats the whole purpose of having a gun lock/safe

Hello Murtaza, I would make sure you have the Eufy skill installed within the Alexa App and if you already do, I would dis-able the Eufy skill > then re-enable it again. One other thing I can think of....you may need an Alexa in your home the has the Hub built-in, so you may check that. -Todd

Hi, firstly great tutorial. i just have an issue, i have the eufy 2c pro cameras. i followed the first 7 mins of the video, i believe the app is setup correctly as i have notifications pushed to all my firesticks when motion detected. however its not sending the motion to my sticks. i only get notified on my phone via the app. do i need a seperate app for the firestick. i have the 4k stick. hi there! very useful video, a wasn't really sure eufy cam were trully compatible with Echo environment, now i'm able to make them run correctly!
just a few questions, do yo think having the eufy homebase all the footage will be saved in it? or still have to insert microsd to have the full 2k recording?

Hello, you will need a micro SD card inserted in the home base.
I can't speak for all but the home base 380 has 16Gb installed but it's expandable to 16 terabytes

Dude that was too cool she never does anything i ask lol even on firestick remote you can tap the mic real quick and pulls up the dashbord select camera and half the time it works even asking her to do it is a hit and miss thanks
Todd, thanks for this video, which raises a question for me: Up until recently, I did not need to create Routines to Show my cameras. I would just enable the camera's Alexa Skill, for example Yi IOT and then everytime I said to my Fire Cube: "Computer, Show me the Backyard" it would come up on our Fire Cube. But lately, that has stopped and instead the reply is: "OK Hmm Backyard is not responding."
So I am wondering whether it would start working again if I created an Alexa Routine like yours, but where the trigger would just be "Computer (or Alexa) Show me Backyard" but I can't figure out how to set up the routine as Custom is not available. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

The reason I ask is, in Canada, sometimes there are features on Alexa that are not available yet. So you should have that "Custom" option available. 🤔 -Todd

Yes. Just repeat the same type of routine and select the other device.
