    Looks like a pack of raptors were back there

      LOL, seriously. This minivan was used for transporting equipment for movie production, hence all those scratches.

      How did you match the paint color? I could not find matching paint for interior trims for this car when I looked.

    Would this method work on a rough patterned plastic finish or would it just melt away the rough finish and not match anymore?

      You have to try it out in a small area with the heat a little far away. It may take a lot more patience and time.

    i am about to sell my car and i want top dollar. i just purchased the wagner heat gun and will arm myself with patience to do this myself! should i get the refinishing liquids set after? the back of my nissan juke looks just like this!

      Yes, patience is the key. I did not use refinishing liquids like ArmorAll as it will add a shine to this. But no harm in trying. Good luck with selling your car, you may like my other video - th-cam.com/video/Vou1Ti_Wz6I/w-d-xo.html.

      Someone here commented that there were a pack of raptors in that minivan 🙂. It was used for transporting movie production equipment and for sure they did not care how to load and unload them.

    All those black spots are burn marks!
    You need to stay about 2-3" away from the plastic.

      Yes, some of these scratches were deep and I need to get closer.

    It's only a van, just get over it and buy a new van if you dont like to see scratches. Lol

    Why don't you just paint it? Make it look Brand New!

    • @DIYWithIndi
      @DIYWithIndi  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I tried to paint but could not match color. Also paint will not smooth out the scratch marks.

      @@DIYWithIndi what you do is remove the whole plastic panel,sand it down so that all scratches get smooth and the whole panel is leveled... After that spray paint the whole thing and it'll look as good as brand new! This works on every plastic panel whether it door interior panels,dash,boot etc
