I have a 2005 carrera s, still going fabulous after 133k miles, only lean at idle because of maf sensor i forgot to plug in, about time to get that engine code fixed
Imho if you can't afford aGT3 wanting a new 911 look for a certified pre-owned 911.1 or earlier... HAS TO BE naturally aspirated!! What makes a911 special. Can't tamper with the heart and soul of any car.. When they put their 6 in all but 2 Ferraris.... Blasphemy!!!
Mine is a 2013 Porsche 991.1 Carrera S ordered from Germany by myself and owned since brand new with 0 miles. It now has only 17,000 miles on it.
Drove 6 992s including base, T, S, 4s to compare with 991.1S, none of them even close to 991.1s' excitement level.
I agree with you esp the 992 being turbo charged. What do you drive atm?

That’s great going for a Gen 1 997. You must look after your cars well?
@@invictusporsche yea recently cleared the maf engine code, runs better
❤ ماشاالله
The 991.1 is NOT the last N/A 911. The 992 GT3 is also N/A. And also: VAG is owned by the Porsche family, VAG owns the brand Porsche.
In the Carrera normal range it is the last NA esp for road use
the 991.1 is water cooled...

I couldn’t disagree, this is a great car until you get to a gt3
