I like the vid and you commentary. Getting ready for my first Porsche, and so far it looks like the 991.1 S is going to be my choice. Funny you mentioned previous cars. I'll be coming from a Shelby GT500 to the 911. I honestly can't wait! The 911's have been a favorite of mine for as long as I can recall. Thanks for the vid, and the overall review of you ownership!!

I currently own a Jaguar F Type and absolutely love that car, but have always wanted a 911 Carerra. I am currently looking at a 2014 Carerra, so this was helpful. We live in San Clemente and it's fun to drive sports cars up and down the coast. Thanks for sharing your thoughts ....

@@jmarkr100 Yea, I ordered them but had to upgrade my rears from 295 to 305 cuz they don't make N spec in 295's... will have a first impression / review of the tires. Stay tuned!
I went PS4S. The dealer had put Cup 2s on there but they didn't last long at all. Pretty happy with the PS4S in general. Use the comfort inflation setting.
What comfort inflation setting did you use?

@@PetroHead man I agree 100% I might get the same car as a GTS maybe. It's the last non GT 911 NA manual it's a keeper. You won't lose a cent on it and each time I drive it I have a smile ear to ear. Enjoy it great video🤙

Gas into curve, traction is only gained by force being applied to the ground. Not coasting

Mine has 85K miles.. so you will notice little things here and there the more miles you add. It’s a remarkably well built machine though. 👍

Actually the 2013 is also a 991.1. I think you said it started in 2014. Also noticed you don't have the chrono clock on your dash.
I'm about to get the 2013 c2s. White, manual, sports package, chrono clock, aero package, pasm suspension, same wheels as yours, etc. Can't wait.

Old thread,I know, but the 991.1 started late 2012. I bought my 2012 991.1 in 2020 w/40k miles and promptly put 11k miles on it - 30 day “US Grand Tour”.
I feel the same way you do about the car, it’s incredibly livable as a daily driver and such an amazing car to drive fast when the opportunity arrives. The only car I’ve owned for this long and never wanted something different.
The 991 was actually launched in the 2012 model year. Mine was manufactured in March of 2012.
That's Encinitas....Solana Beach is down the road a bit. Give my little city the recognition it deserves :)

I paid 62-65k I think.. been a while.. It’s retained it’s value this far.. buy used.
Never had any issues with any GT3/GT3RS
