Such great memories - Skyhooks were my favourite band then and I still love listening to them today. I remember the day we lost the legend that was Shirl - I've never cried over a celebrity of any kind except for that day. I was shattered. 💕
aaaaaaah memories - Shirl in the big wig doing hi Brucie Woocie chuckin' toilet paper out to the front row at Sidney Myer Music Bowl.......Gudinski yelling at the girls on the balcony at the Palais coz it was gunna fall down (leaning a bit were we?) Bongo running straight past us out the front of the Princess Theatre (lost a bet) Freddie and his Cowboy Porno dance and Redmond.............God I miss those boys and the good ol days xxxxx
Thank you for all the Skyhooks content Peter.
My band for my youth and I still say they made the path easier for those to follow and had something that many did not have . Authenticity .
