I've been told that you NEED a piece of software called multiecuscan and the necessary cable that connects to a laptop to do this reset.

Beginning in 2020 you have to step on the brake pedal too. It's a ridiculous process, and better left to a shop with the scan tool.

This process is to clear the oil lamp after getting oil changed.
