2wd OEM Porsche going sub-11-second quarter mile is pretty wild, ths is a EV hybrid I can get excited about, using electric motors to fix/improve the weak link in the chain of ICE cars.
Always love Porsches innovations for the best power to weight they can get!!! Also find it funny how everyone always bangs on about BHP but it's torque that really matters and where it lies in the RPM range. This is why the Tesla ludicrous mode is such a beast cos without a softstarter an electric motor draws infinite current at zero RPM and that current directly relates to torque. Hence, theoretically, you have maximim torque from zero RPM. Porsches electric turbo now spreads the torque over a larger RPM range and hence why it's such a beast!!!
I've been going to Porsche's configurator to spec my dream 911 for the past several years. Figures that as soon as I'm in the market for one, they go hybrid and remove the manual option. :(
I absolutely love a hybrid designed for performance like this. It makes me feel like a proper F1 driver! It's exciting to see them become more affordable and available.
It would be cool to have some of these drag races with both drivers using the same car, especially when they are F1 drivers, just to see the difference in reaction time.

With a worse interior
Not their fault when the buyers are idiots with bad tastes 😃
I’m personally not a fan of electric or hybrid vehicles, but this should be the future of hybrids. Porsche knows how to engineer and pulls things off that other manufacturers can only dream of.
Their cars are still gorgeous as ever, too, which is more than I can say for some other makes!
gotta have 330i vs 330e sedans next
Yawn

Both cars are very impressive but can you imagine that technology in the new 911 turbo S. I bet when they do a new one it will be just incredible.
Imagine the repair bills in five years.
Imagine five years the repair bills at your local porsche dealer who will be the only shop that can work on this unnecessarily complex hybrid system.
5:21 That fake engine sound 😂 Like the new Hyundai IONIQ 🤡
The take off on the first run was expected from M.W. 1. No offense
M.W. 2 😉
Great guest by the way.
10.9 seconds in 541 hp car surely out performed the M5 cs and GT63s e performance
Seriously doubt it, the low down torque from the electric would easily beat normal cars with a normal tech 600hp
Men on the developmental status of a 17 year old.
Mark and Team, congratulations on making that guest appearance during Porsche's reveal presentation of the new 911 Hybrid.
Sorry, I have to post this here real quick i was poor and broke many years ago but today I thank the Lord Jesus, for the gift of life and blessings to me and my family $14,120.47 weekly profit Our lord Jesus has lifted my Life!!!🙏❤❤❤

Well, the investment-advisor that guides me is..
Mrs Cathie Wood
I Met Mrs Cathie Wood last year for the first time at a church program, where she greeted a friend of mine also a church member, and fortunately for me, we exchanged contact and got along. What God cannot do, doesn't exist" I truly believe this word 100 percent❤❤❤
Her services is the best, I got a brand new Lambo last week and paid off my mortgage loan thanks to her wonderful services!
2wd OEM Porsche going sub-11-second quarter mile is pretty wild, ths is a EV hybrid I can get excited about, using electric motors to fix/improve the weak link in the chain of ICE cars.
Is it me or does the new 911 actually sound deeper under high revs
Its like they have piped in a V8 sound through the speakers
Yes, sounds deeper and in lower tone. Almost like an AMG 8 cilinders
Sounds like chit.
Thats actually a good hybrid setup especially compared to the new 2.5 tons m5
gotta say the camera angles were brilliant in this video as per just the quality of overall video its better than old carwow videos
All that hybrid nonsense just adds weight and complexity. All bevause of "climate". Tough to be car lover these days.
Nice to see Mark on your channel keep bringing him back
Wow! It takes guts to put Mark Webber in slower car! But really, that reaction times from Mark are on point!
"Not bad for a number two driver". The legendary comment from Mark ❤
The tandem auto-lifting of the spoilers 🤌🏻
Mat please Race the new GTS against currant 992 turbo s !
the gts rwd under 11 sec is unbelievable ... what a machine
You should race the new gts versus the previous gt3
Wow. You have shown that the new Porsche is better than the older one!!!!
Can you test the Porsche’s e-fuel made in Chile?
Same car better driver gave you amazing result WOW
I've been going to Porsche's configurator to spec my dream 911 for the past several years. Figures that as soon as I'm in the market for one, they go hybrid and remove the manual option. :(
Matt just casually invites a world class F1 driver to shoot a YT video 😅
i think it was actually a porsche event where mat was invited and got the chance to shoot some videos
There is a white one in the Adirondacks and he laid into it I was on my ZX14r and it was quick!
Battries are just the new "turbo." More weight, but no lag. Better? Also, no turbo whine. Still better?
New Carrera GTS vs Previous generation Tubo S will be a tight one
I absolutely love a hybrid designed for performance like this. It makes me feel like a proper F1 driver! It's exciting to see them become more affordable and available.
It would be cool to have some of these drag races with both drivers using the same car, especially when they are F1 drivers, just to see the difference in reaction time.
